Hello, my name is Patricia. You are viewing photos of our apartment, which we call "Pearl," located in San Jose. This condo serves as our family home when we are in the city.

A bit about me: I grew up in Costa Rica and pursued studies there, in the United States, and Scotland. After living in Canada for 20 years, I returned to Costa Rica with my husband and two children about ten years ago. We built a home in the southern region of the country, and our two daughters are now attending university.

During my time in Canada, I had the privilege of working with leading optometrists and ophthalmologists. With their support and the local Lions Club in Costa Rica, I organized eye exam clinics for underprivileged children in remote villages, sending 4 to 6 doctors once or twice a year for over a decade. Costa Rican doctors provided eyeglasses and surgeries when needed. I am proud of this volunteer effort and grateful to have given back to my country.

Our travels introduced us to many wonderful people who welcomed us warmly, and that international spirit is reflected in this apartment. Every item here has been chosen with love and thoughtfulness to create an experience of modern casual elegance with a charming vibe.

If you enjoy dining out, the Escalante and Dent neighborhoods are famous throughout Costa Rica for their culinary scenes, offering over 200 restaurants, many within walking distance of the apartment.
