We had a really nice stay at this home in Costa Rica! The location was beautiful, and the house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A few helpful things to know: the washer and dryer are available, but they’re located down the hill from the house, so they’re not the easiest to access. If you’re traveling with little ones and planning on doing laundry often, it’s just something to keep in mind. Because you’re surrounded by nature, it’s also best not to leave clothes or belongings outside since animals may occasionally leave droppings or urinate on them. There are also quite a few wasps around the property, which is normal for the area, but good to be aware of if you have allergies or are traveling with little ones. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and appreciated the hospitality! 🇨🇷❤️

One of the most beautiful views. Super peaceful waking up to the ocean. Our host responded to us right away and made us feel very comfortable. Can’t wait to come back and visit.

Nice location, unfortunately far from a lot of things. The view is splendid, but the house could use some maintenance, and above all, the missing items, such as steak knives or other kitchen items, need to be replaced. And note that the showers are only outdoors 😅 Quick tip: don't take it in the evening, because the insects quickly come in with the light.

Wow, what a beautiful spot with an epic view! The sunsets were magical, and the trees and lush foliage made us feel like we were tucked away in a forest. Seeing the monkeys hanging around in the trees nearby was really cool, and we also loved the lizards, geckos, and vultures that would visit. Our little family really enjoyed the pool, especially when it was hot, and just relaxing while taking in the view was the perfect way to end each day of our busy road trip. Steven was also great and gave us some great recommendations. Just recommend you have a 4x4 to get around as the roads can be a bit bumpy in that area. Highly recommend!

We stayed for the month of March with our two children & can’t tell you how many times we contemplated moving here. Such a gorgeous home. It had everything we could need to feel comfortable including the most welcoming & responsive host we’ve ever worked with! Thank you so much for making our trip one we will never forget. Pura Vida!

This was our second time staying here, and it certainly won’t be our last—we are already planning our third trip! If you are looking to escape the "tourist bustle" of Costa Rica’s more crowded hubs, this is the place to be. The house itself has incredible style and comfort, but the outdoor space is the real star. We spent so much time in the pool taking in the stunning ocean views. The surrounding animal life is amazing; you truly feel immersed in nature here. And of course, the sunsets every single night were nothing short of epic. San Juanillo is a perfect, quiet sanctuary. It’s ideally located for those who want a bit of everything: Surfing: It’s a very quick drive to Marbella for great waves. Dining & Shopping: While San Juanillo feels wonderfully secluded, you are close enough to Nosara for big grocery runs or a high-end dinner out. This home offers the best of both worlds: total tranquility with easy access to adventure. We can't wait to come back!
