Such a cute and quiet place outside the city! It’s a few mins outside of town so you’ll need to drive a bit to get to an area with lots of food options but it’s so worth it! It’s out near some farm lands and very peaceful with open skies and bordering jungle. The house is quite small and simple, but we were so impressed at how creatively they used the space to provide everything we needed. A/C was cold, beds were comfortable, working desk & WiFi were great. We asked for cushions for the porch and Marilyn immediately brought some over from her own house. There are a couple other houses on the property, and even though there were other occupants, it felt like we had the property all to ourselves. I couldn’t think of a more ideal place to spend the night before catching a flight out of Liberia. Such a great Airbnb find!

Marilyn and her family are so kind and sweet. They greeted us upon arrival and offered to show us around their property, pointing out (and letting us try) a wide variety of fruits and sugar cane they grow. The little house was perfect for our quick stay before heading to the airport the next morning. The beds were comfortable and the air conditioning kept us nice and cool. We had a great, peaceful night's sleep, which was much appreciated prior to the long day of travel we had on our way home. We had questions about how to get the hot water working in our bathroom and Marilyn and her husband were quick to help us figure it out. This was the perfect little stop either upon arriving or prior to departing Liberia.

This property was perfect for our arrival in and departure from Costa Rica. Located about 20 minutes by car from the airport, it allowed us to rest when we arrived and to take our time before our departure. It's a great gateway to the country that offers the amenities needed for a good start! I recommend this property without hesitation :)

We only stayed one night and were able to get a good night's rest. The A/C in the area is appreciated. The place is very quiet and in a strategic location very close to downtown Liberia. Communication with Marilyn is very good.
