Besides from the road closures that took getting into town longer then expected, we had an amazing trip! The kitchen did not have any spices or basic cooking supplies, if that would have been stated before it would’ve been more helpful preparing for meals. The pictures are exactly as the house appears it was a big enough house for all 16 of us . The only thing I would suggest would be bigger TVs in the bedrooms.

Pick this house ! We were a group of 11
3 families w children ranging from 14-19 and everyone including the adults enjoyed the beauty of the house and the pool slide ! Don’t shy away from choosing elite services ! It made our stay even more enjoyable and comfortable! Marilyn, our house mom was so sweet and accommodating! Anything we needed or had questions about before and during the trip was done perfectly by Guilia !

The house & service were amazing. The house is well-equipped, modern, spacious and comfortable. Plenty of space for a large group. The housekeeper made a wonderful breakfast every morning and helped us prepare lunch. The house is very close to the beach but I would still rent a golf cart to get around with more ease. Playa Bonita is a short walk but the heat would make the walk unbearable. The golf cart was able to get right up to the beach. Overall the stay was wonderful except the power went out on the last full day. Power was out for 7 hours. Although the power outage timing is out of the PM’s control, this apparently was a planned outage so the PM should have been proactive by informing us and offering something for the inconvenience (no AC in 100F heat and limited use of fridge to prevent food spoilage) other than a late check out of 2 hours. As an STR owner myself I understand the importance of ensuring your guests have a smooth and enjoyable experience

Our family really enjoyed staying together at Casa Bonita. The kids loved the pool and there was plenty of space for our 12 family members and nobody even slept in the ADU. The housekeeper made an excellent breakfast feast each morning and we used the kitchen to cook 2 dinners. We were very happy overall!

We were a group of 10 adults and 6 kids. It was perfect for our size group. The kids loved the pool as well as adults. We enjoyed the greenery surrounding the backyard and the howler monkeys in the trees in the morning. We felt very safe. The 5 minute walk to the beach was nice for looking in the tide pools, watching the sunset, the view etc but it is not a swimming beach due to so many rock formations etc. We found other beaches and use of the beach club was nice (though requires a $5 fee.)You definitely need your own transportation due to location if you plan to do any exploring etc. Be aware of the emergency number for the AirBnB as is needed after hours if any problems . Also be aware a code is needed for anyone accessing the area. Our bus for a private tour was held up 40 minute until we could get an access code. Easily obtained but I was not aware. We loved Marie our housekeeper. She was definitely A plus! Renzo, our concierge was great from start to finish!

The home was a perfect size for our group of 13. We had 9 kids and 4 adults and it was spacious and worked perfectly!
Marilin who was there to help us with breakfast, snacks, drinks, basic cleanup was fantastic!!! We loved her. She was so great to have around and so helpful!

Our stay at Casa Bonita Beach was fantastic! The house was well stocked with what we needed. House was clean and well care for. More than enough space for all 10 of us. The only thing was the pool needs to be cleaned more frequently. watching the howler monkeys was definitely the highlight! Though far from amenities I would highly recommend staying here.

The place was awesome. Everyone felt at home. The rooms were great. Everyone had their own ac controller and bathrooms. Two things:
They did not refill the coffee k-cups and the paper towel’s. Other than that, we all were happy with the place.

We really enjoyed our stay which was one of a kind experience. Samantha was very helpful and communicative right from the get go with check-in instructions, local recommendations, excursions and really anything we needed during our stay. She was always very quick to respond and provided all the information we needed. She communicated when landscapers, pool cleaners and any workers upkeeping the property would be coming by well ahead of time in order to keep the property in A+ condition. Marilyn, who was our maid throughout our stay was absolutely wonderful. She came everyday to clean, make breakfast, snacks, drinks and was a lovely person to get to know. She only knows a little bit of english so make sure to use a translator to communicate! The house was spotless everyday before she left and she cleaned all rooms and washrooms daily. Marilyn was truly the cherry on top for this airbnb, thank you for all your help! The pool was nice, rooms spacious, each room had its own washroom & AC.

We had a large group of 16 and we all fit comfortably! Our host was great and the cleaning lady Maria was so kind.
The water slide was so fun for the kids too!
Lots of howler monkeys in the tree above too! Very cool experience.
Only thing I can say is to make sure you go to the grocery store before you hit the house because the store is about 20 mins away. As long as your prepared with food and drink, then you're golden!

This is a beautiful, very large house, modern with very well equipped kitchen. The porch and swimming pool are great. This is perfect if you don’t like to explore and want to stay in one place, including cooking. For us it wasn’t ideal. First of all gated community, each time you come back you need to explain where you stay, your name etc, takes a lot of time and we are just not gated community to understand people. There is a little beach nearby, nice short walk, very rocky so you can’t swim. Other than the Marriott and the Beach Club, which are crazy expensive, there are no walkable restaurants. There is a tiny store that doesn’t have much, no fruit, minimal selection of cheese and first day they didn’t even have milk. If you want to surf, it takes an hour to get to a spot unless you want to take a lesson, 100$ per 1.5 hour at the Beach Club..
So overall we had a good time but it wasn’t ideal for our family. Again, the house is great.

As you mentioned, Hacienda Pinilla is strict with its security protocols as it protects the safety of the private community, so they always need to verify the identity of the guests and providers that need to access it. Normally it is a smooth protocol but it can take a few minutes if there are other people in the line. We really hope this was not an inconvenience for your group as the point is to offer Security to our guests and neighbors. Regarding surf lessons, we have several providers with more comfortable prices that we would have liked to share with you, but we understood your group was only interested in finding spots to surf. Little Hawaii and Playa Avellanas are well known as great suring sports and these are only 10 to 15 minutes from the house, so there is no need to travel too long to enjoy a nice session! First of all, from the first day of the reservation we received excellent service from the Stay in Tamarindo team, super good in terms of communication, kindness and flexibility with some requests that were made.
Regarding Casa Bonita Beach, it is a spectacular house for large family groups, unbeatable location, quiet atmosphere, the cleanliness of both the house and the property of the improvement, good security, 100% recommended for anyone who wants to visit it.

This house is great accommodation for large families or small corporate retreats. The rooms are big, the seating is ample and all the appliances are in good working order.
Note - they seem to strip the kitchen clean to bare bones after every guest so be prepared to purchase the most basic cooking ingredients. Don’t assume there is anything at all. - I found that very frustrating as the nearest grocery is an east 20 minutes one way drive. Also I always leave lots of condiments and closed snacks with the expectation it will be left for the next renter.
Also the helper lady does not speak a word of English and generally seems to have a lazy attitude - I would not relay on her for anything more than cleaning.
Lastly the concierge is decent. They did not do anything to delight and all
Of their vendors while fair prices were lackluster or pulled shenanigans. Also they don’t answer the phone.
All in all the house is great - the service leaves what to be desired at that price point.

We also would like to address some of your comments: Cooking ingredients, we provide new cooking basic ingredients at every Check-In. We don't offer customers' leftovers for other guests. Olive oil, salt, pepper, sugar, and coffee are part of the amenities we offer upon arrival. Now, it's also important to mention that frequently guests like to show their appreciation to the staff by having them take all their unused groceries home. Our staff would never take anything home without guests or our approval. About our dedicated housekeeper, it is true that she does not speak English, just like 95% of the housekeepers in the area. However, she is attentive and does her best to communicate with every single one of our English-speaking guests using a translator or some English words she has learned while working in hospitality. Believe it or not, the majority of our customers enjoy having someone who they can practice their Spanish with(The local language) and add more of the local flavor to their experience. You also could count on her for delicious breakfast, snacks, and even cocktail preparation in addition to the regular cleaning service. With all of these, we found it very surprising that you felt we did not do anything special to delight you, and that the housekeeper had a lazy attitude. We are also saddened we did not have much information about what your real expectations were, otherwise, we would have done work even harder to exceed them. We rented the house for a group of 12. It is a beautiful house and a great place for that many people with lots of space and a bathroom in every room. My parents stayed out in the casita as it was quiet and more private for them. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and felt very safe. Would definitely recommend this house!!

This is a great home. Very well laid out for a large family or two family stay. Features are very modern which makes for a comfortable stay. And Hacienda Pinilla is a great location if you are looking for a quiet and private place to get away. Private that is if you don't mind all the howler monkeys and iguanas who will come and visit you in the backyard during your stay.
