Condominium Rules
- Pool hours: 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM
- Noise and music should be lowered by 10:00 PM to respect neighbors
- Electricity allowance: 20 kWh per night included; additional usage charged at $1 per kWh
- Balcony: No wet clothing or unsupervised children on the balcony glass
- Pets are not permitted
- Assigned parking is located at the back of the building (Apartment 1A), with one extra parking space available
- Pool showers: Please rinse off excess sand before entering the apartment or bathroom; a $25 cleaning fee applies if excessive sand is found
Additional Information
- Electricity outages can occur in San Juan del Sur, especially during windy or rainy seasons. The electric company usually resolves these quickly. A small automatic ECO FLOW battery is available to power room lights, fans, TV, and internet during outages. Note that there is no generator for air conditioning.
- Drainage care: Do not remove kitchen drainage meshes and avoid pouring oils or fats down the drain. A $200 fee will be charged for repairs if drains become clogged, including shower drains due to sand or other debris.
- Toilet use: Only flush toilet paper; do not flush wet wipes or other items.
- Towel policy: A $30 fee applies for each lost or damaged beach towel, and a $20 fee for each lost or damaged bath towel.

We really loved the apartment on the 3rd floor. We enjoyed how comfortable and clean the apartment was, and we really liked the location and privacy of the neighborhood, and the host's service was superb.

Only difficulty was finding the place and waiting for personnel to open it. Once inside it was nice, clean, and modern. Hot water was scorching hot and then goes cold after 2 minutes. You have to turn off and on again for more scorching hot water (be careful). It's super difficult to regulate so my little children couldn't be trusted to bathe alone. Huge inconvenience. Stove was non functioning when we were there and we were told about that once in. Only real concern was the hot water. We were told by pool staff that pool can't be used if other people were using so you had to wait your turn. We weren't able to enjoy the pool that was advertised.

Everything is very much in line with what was published. The kitchen is complete and very well equipped, and the pool is clean. It's ideal for being with the family.

The truth is, in general, there were only problems with the hot water. It only works in the morning, and I didn't really like the pool 😖. I don't know if it was because I arrived late, but the water was dirty. Also, you should know that it's a condominium with a lot of rules. It's fine if you go as a couple or family, but not if you go with friends, because it has... Many limiting conditions and shared electricity. Just so you don't get any surprises, the host is very helpful and friendly, super friendly, and tries to resolve everything 💪
