This place was amazing, right at the foot of the volcano and a window into wild nature. The villa has natural hot springs fed hot tub/pool which makes it hard to beat right off the bat. And the volcano is hard to miss as it is soooo close. In the morning toucans fly through the mountains and the rain forests in front of the villa, a procession of other tropical birds including hummingbirds are constant visitors. The best night was watching a storm roll down the mountain and pour forth for several hours with strong lightning and powerful thunder. Very fitting weather for this place. Santiago is great and awesome. Very responsive, he came and changed lights to be more warmer when we mentioned the white lights were too bright. He arranged massages at the villa and in general helped us get very comfortable, I look forward to visiting again.

It was awesome! Santiago was an amazing host and so friendly. He even took time out of his day to come take photos of us after our engagement. Great view, amazing hot tub! Perfect place for a couples getaway. Would defiantly come back!

We absolutely loved our stay! The view of Arenal Volcano was incredible—seriously, the pictures don’t even do it justice. Waking up to that view every morning was one of our favorite parts of the trip. The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, including extra blankets, cooking supplies, and a washer and dryer. We also loved that access to the property was through Los Lagos Hotel because it gave us an extra sense of security. Being able to enjoy the hotel’s hot springs at no additional cost was such an amazing perk! Our host was incredibly kind and responded quickly anytime we had a question. We felt completely at home and honestly didn’t want to leave! We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting La Fortuna.

My husband and I stayed with Santiago in this same villa for our honeymoon in 2023 and fell in love with it! It was the perfect place to bring my mom for her 70th birthday this year. The villa is incredible; exactly as pictured, so comfortable with an unbeatable view. It’s very clean and the a/c works great. The kitchen and bathrooms have everything we need. It’s a short uber into fortuna or to any other attractions you’d want to see in La Fortuna. The geothermal hot tub is sooo nice. Santiago is the best part though! He’s such a thoughtful host with wonderful recommendations and is very responsive if we need anything. He even surprised my mom with a beautiful and TASTY birthday cake. We hope to come back many more times. I literally have dreams about coming back to this villa 😂 if you’re looking, don’t bother checking out any other Airbnbs. This one is unbeatable. 💜💜💜

The view is the volcano from this villa and from the private hot spring pool was better than the pictures, and the bathroom with walk in rain head shower was so unique and beautiful! The kitchen had what we needed, and we were able to check ourselves in. Access to Los Lagos was a nice perk, and despite some farm noise and being able to hear a few noises from the villa next door, this was a perfectly private stay- would absolutely recommend and would stay here again!

Great place and the views were exactly like the photos (The volcano actually appears much closer then the photos portray). The property is very big, secluded, and private. Would definitely recommend any of the similar multiple properties Santiago has in this area.
