It is a very nice, comfortable house with a wonderful garden, and the best thing is that the beach is practically the house's patio.

The location was great, the beach was just across the street. We could hear the waves from the patio! Yoshua was proactive in contacting us with directions for arrival. Yoshi met us a the property and gave us important information about using the gas stoves and the water (It is not potable.) The grounds are lovely and private with a gate. The house itself felt a little crowded for 6 adults. There are two small bedrooms and one bathroom on each floor. The kitchens were also small and not very well stocked, making meal preparation tough. Overall the space was rustic but the location made it worthwhile.

A very cozy, clean, and comfortable place. They welcomed us personally at the door and were available to help. The place is beautiful, with a real Caribbean vibe, close to downtown but far enough away that you don't feel overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle. It's located right across from Playa Negra; it's amazing to fall asleep to the sound of the waves, truly beautiful.

This is a truly beautiful accommodation surrounded by nature, with the ocean right in front—an absolutely stunning setting. We actually spotted more wildlife in the garden than in the nearby nature park, which was simply incredible. Communication was excellent and very fast, and we received a warm and personal welcome from Yoshi, which made us feel at home right away. The place is tastefully and simply furnished, creating a calm and inviting atmosphere. It’s definitely a spot that encourages you to slow down and stay longer. Highly recommended!

The place was great! As a wildlife enthusiast and photographer it was wonderful. Birds in the mornings, all the poison dart frogs everywhere was awesome! The craziest part…. We watched a sloth fall out of the tree! Like fully fell 40 feet from a tree and get right back up and climb again. Beach is across the street, few walkable food joints but close enough to drive or take a bike or Tuk Tuk to town.

Overall a good accommodation (location, garden area, beds) but the house needs some deep cleaning and maintenance (we had issues with the light in the bathroom twice, the gas-stove had a defect and could not be used plus the safe needed to be opened professionally on our last day because it was not possible to open it anymore). The kitchen downstairs was ok but the upstairs kitchen was dirty and also not well equipped. The communication with yoshi was good, he responded fast and sent help where needed.

Great place! Super close to the beach and the host was super responsive. Would recommend this for people visiting Puerto Viejo!
