Stay at the Hidden Beachhouse, a beachfront property spanning two floors with four bedrooms, an outdoor shower, free on-site parking, and WiFi. All bedrooms are equipped with air conditioning. Our Hidden Beachhouse is designed in the traditional Caribbean style and consists of two separate apartments, each with its own kitchen. This setup is perfect for groups of friends or two families traveling together.

Downstairs

• Traditional Caribbean design allows natural ocean breeze to cool the apartment, so no air conditioning or fans are necessary; however, fans are available if desired
• Washing machine available for guest use

Garden

Explore the natural garden path and discover various fruit trees, including the region’s largest Guanacaste tree, which is large enough to require 6-8 people to hug. The garden is home to local wildlife such as iguanas, colorful birds, sloths, and monkeys. Relax in multiple seating areas throughout the property or while walking the path to observe wildlife up close, either with the naked eye or binoculars.

Location

The Hidden Beachhouse is located directly on Playa Negra, a tranquil black sand beach. Step outside in your swimsuit and reach the Caribbean Sea within fifteen seconds. Nearby amenities include:

• A beach hotel offering food and exotic drinks at sunset
• A small supermarket stocked with essentials

The lively town center of Puerto Viejo is just a six-minute drive away, featuring a wide variety of restaurants, bars, and shops. Local attractions include snorkeling at the largest reef on the Caribbean coast, tours of chocolate farms, and visits to a renowned animal rescue center. This location is ideal for a relaxing and adventurous holiday.

Guests renting the Hidden Beachhouse have exclusive access to the entire property, including:

• Both apartments
• Terrace and balcony
• Garden
• Parking spots on the property (2 dedicated spots, with space for up to 4 cars)
• Beach access just 10 steps from the front gate

Additional Information

Yoshua, our on-site manager and experienced Airbnb superhost, will welcome you and provide a tour of the house. He is available to assist throughout your stay.
