Paradise! I knew from the pictures that I was going to enjoy myself immensely, being surrounded by the jungle, tropical plants and the thrum of insects at night. It was everything I had hoped for and more. Walking in the immediate vicinity was a treat and we saw Scarlet macaws, Capuchin monkeys, sloth and agouti, as well as tons of birds, butterflies and other insects. A highlight was the lovely scenery abounding through all of the sliding doors and a restful ambiance with a morning yoga class on the deck in the spectacularly peaceful setting. Manuel Antonio's hive of restaurants and shops is right up the hill and there are loads of places to eat, frolic in the waves, enjoy drinks at sunset and just overall experience Pura Vida!

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful, nice cool AC, we saw lots of monkeys off the back deck, spotted macaws a few times, and even saw a toucan. Great location, Max 10 minute drive to anything around town. Lots of great restaurants nearby. Responsive help host and concierge. We especially enjoyed the holler monkey wake up Calls!

What a beautiful home, perfectly situated in an absolutely stunning location. We had the perfect balance of peace and adventure during our stay. We enjoyed swimming, cooking, and experiencing an incredible amount of wildlife—something you simply wouldn't get at a hotel. The host and concierge were exceptionally helpful, providing great local recommendations for beaches, restaurants, healthcare, and other essentials, which made our stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for an authentic getaway that's off the beaten path while still feeling completely safe, comfortable, and relaxed. We would gladly stay here again.

The Jungle Treehouse was fully equipped with all of the things we needed from shampoo, conditioner, detergent, bug repellent, beach towels, chairs, etc. Their instructions were amazingly detailed with photos, which made for checking in and finding things super easy. Johannes was great and super quick to respond with any questions or needs! I loved that some of the things we booked had pickups and dropoffs included. Also, it was helpful to have all of the detailed recommendations and phone numbers to plan adventures and communicate with the necessary parties. The private pool was beautiful and great to have available! My daughter and I had a wonderful time and are so thankful for the level of thoughtfulness that was put into everything! I would highly recommend Shamir and Diana and would book with them again. The only suggestion I can think of was it would be nice to have a full length mirror somewhere.

The property is beautiful and is exactly as described though it may even be larger than it appears in the pictures. It is clear the hosts put a lot of effort into the home and into making sure guests enjoy the home and the surrounding area. Unfortunately some maintenance issues out of the host’s control came up and we did not get to stay the full time - but the hosts were extremely responsive and we would recommend their place without reservation. Additionally, we visited several restaurants they recommended and also booked tours with guides recommended - and really loved everything. We had a great week in Manuel Antonio and nearby cities and can’t wait to visit again.

We booked this stay based on the reviews of seeing wildlife around the house & it didn’t disappoint. The jungle surroundings, wraparound porch, and pool deck were perfect for observing. We followed several of the guidebook suggestions for dining in Quepos & my husband enjoyed surfing lessons with the recommended instructor. Would definitely return!

The Jungle Tree House was a great place for us to unwind and relax. We loved the pool, very responsive and helpful communication, the A/C works great! Surrounded by dense, beautiful vegetation. There were squirrel monkeys playing on the roof one day for almost an hour!

We loved The Jungle Tree House! It's really a dreamy space, secluded, and surrounded by so much nature!! Everyday, we were like wildlife explorers with our binoculars and camera's watching the Agouti, Capuchin Monkeys, Squirrel Monkeys, and Macaws flying overhead. We even saw a sloth on the road to the house. You are right in between the little town of Quepos and Manual Antonio with so many options for restaurants and great beaches. Highly recommend!

The Jungle Treehouse hands down made our time in Quepos so special! We are a family of 5 with 3 kids under 12 and the house, location and activities in the area were very family friendly. Shamir and Diana were very responsive and their host book was filled with amazing recommendations that we used. The house was beautifully decorated and the linens and furniture were very clean and cozy. The outdoor deck was the absolute best to drink coffee in the morning and see monkey’s sloths and agouti. We had meals and cocktails outside and swam at night, the kids loved it! We all loved the jungle trail. The kitchen was beautiful with great appliances but could have used a few more platters and utensils. You definitely need a 4x4 vehicle to easily handle the terrain. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this property! It is truly one of a kind and allowed us to immerse ourselves into the jungle in the comfort of a modern house.

Our stay at the Jungle House in Quepos was nothing short of unforgettable. The location is absolutely breathtaking—perfectly nestled in nature while still being convenient to everything we needed. What truly made this stay magical was the incredible wildlife. We saw squirrel monkeys, white-faced monkeys, sloths, macaws, toucans, and so much more—all right around the property. It felt like living inside a nature documentary. The house itself is luxurious and impeccably clean, with every detail thoughtfully considered. It had everything we could possibly need and more, making our stay both comfortable and special. Communication with the host was second to none—quick, helpful, and genuinely welcoming from start to finish. This is truly a special place that we will never forget. We would absolutely love to come back and stay again someday!
