I spent last year traveling full time. I also have attended yoga retreats over the years. This place is incredible and unique. We spent one night and the peace, beauty, tranquility, care and Victor who kept the sauna hot was so above and beyond. If I could spend a night anywhere, this would probably be where I would come. Spring water to drink and swim in, a view beyond words, star gazing at night, swimming in a beautiful waterfall pool all by myself. Zip lines. A swing that makes you feel like you are flying. And Victor always there to assist with all those things.

Es un lugar asombrosamente bello, la naturaleza te invita a volver a tu centro y hacer el temazcal es una experiencia que todos deberiamos vivir, una regresa completamente renovado y la asistencia de Juan y Gilda en todo momento es la cereza en el pastel....unas personas tan agradebles y disponibles...sin duda un fin de semana sencillamente ESPECTACULAR! Gracias Giancarlo y su equipo que lo hacen muy bien en cada momento!

A true gem of a location. The drive to and from will need a 4X4 and a steady driver (be wary of brakes heating up on descent) No words could really describe the atmosphere, ambience and views. You have to experience it to truly appreciate what this awesome and literally breathtaking place is. Shout out to señor Montecristo,a pleasant and really resourceful gentleman. If your cardio is up for it, you can hike down to the waterfall at his direction. This is not for the faint hearted.

Our stay in El Limo was like a dream— beautiful and peaceful, with sprinkles of adventure. Nothing can beat the view. The hillsides of the rainy season were the best “green screen” ever. Terraces and balconies everywhere made so many vantage points. The plantings of the landscaping and working farm were beautiful. The house was gorgeous— made with wood, stone, and adobe from the property. The kitchen was very well outfitted. Our on-site host Victor was a gem. Despite our language barrier, we had a lot of fun together. He walked us to the waterfall and lit the sauna fire. We loved the swing and ziplines. It’s not possible to make a “quick run to town.” Bring all your food, and your own towels. The steep dirt road is an adventure in itself. You can enjoy drinking the water there.

El lugar es precioso, nunca había ido a una cabaña tan bonita como Brunate. Hay demasiadas cosas que hacer, no alcanza el tiempo para poder disfrutar de todo. Todo estaba súper limpio y ordenado, la vista es impresionante y el circuito de sauna hacia la piscina y el jacuzzi es algo que si o si se debe experimentar! Víctor hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún mejor, súper atento y amable, nos llevó a la cascada y nos ayudó demasiado. Definitivamente quiero volver!

Our stay at Brunate was the highlight of our time in El Salvador. So beautiful and peaceful! My only recommendations would be to pack two towels since you’ll be enjoying the spa circuit, waterfall and outdoor bathtub. Also book the ride up to the property - it’s very high up and unless you have an actual 4x4 truck it’s not worth the stress for what will be a fabulous getaway. Victor, our host on-site, was friendly and accommodating. Such a magical time away!
