Electricity costs in Nicaragua tend to be high. Since the Villas de Palermo houses are equipped with air conditioning, electric stoves, and hot water systems, the daily electricity expense for each villa can reach $10 or more. During our stays, we typically use ceiling fans and limit air conditioning to about three hours at night, resulting in an average daily electricity cost of around $4.
Guests are kindly asked to use air conditioning sparingly and to switch off all electrical appliances when leaving the villa. Electricity charges will be calculated after your stay according to the meter readings.
Because the villa is situated in a mountainous area, encountering insects, including scorpions, is possible. Although the property is inspected for pests before each guest's arrival, it is important to remain cautious.

Palermo is always an excellent choice. The house is well located, with parking right in front. The only thing to keep in mind is that it only has 2 beds; on our trip, an extra bed would have been helpful. Otherwise, everything was great: cleanliness, security, and location.
