This is a beautiful, private home. For being in the mountains, having the view of the ocean is spectacular. The hammocks on the rooftop were extra special. We also loved the individual bedroom suites with A/C. And…the pool. Wow, the pool with the view! We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.

The pool is so beautiful and fun! Short walk to beach and town. Exactly like the pictures! Lisbeth is an outstanding caretaker of the place and we felt comfortable asking her for anything. Her cooking skills are outstanding and I would highly recommend her to prepare a few outstanding meals!

My family of four spent a lovely week at Diego‘s home. The view is fantastic. Lisbeth was always there when we needed her. Proximity to the beach was perfect. We enjoyed the pool which was clean and just the right size. Diego helped us make reservations at Don Ramiro’s on our last night, something I cannot recommend enough.

Amazing home in Punta Islita. Our family of four stayed for two nights and we wish we could have been there longer. View of the ocean with passing parrots and macaws right from the living room. Incredible!

Fabulous place, great views. We traveled to Islita to see the Macaw Recovery Network's nursery and were blown away by the efforts to reintroduce the beautiful Scarlet Macaws. They flew over the house daily in pairs, squawking and making themselves known. The house is beautiful, accommodates a group very well with separate air conditioned casitas and a central cabana/kitchen by the pool. It was very, very hot when we were there, and the kitchen/cabana isn't air conditioned. Lisbeth, the caretaker, is very responsive and helpful, she kept the house in tip top shape and helped us turn on the gas stove when we cooked in one night. We made use of the hotel amenities at the beach (huge plus - chairs, hammocks, a bar, restaurant, and beachside spa services, etc). The hotel is cool with you doing that - they even let us use their towels one day. Of course we purchased a lot from the hotel to make it worth their while, including the hotel breakfast one morning.

We visit Punta Islita yearly and this was our first time at Diego’s place. The house is stunning and the views are amazing. The location was great-easy to walk to the beach and several restaurants and we used the amenities of the hotel next door. Our party of nine fit comfortably and Lisbeth, the caretaker, was very helpful. We would definitely recommend and hope to be back!
