I had a wonderful stay. The bed was very comfortable and everything was very close to walk to. Therese responded quickly and. Very nice and friendly.

a little off the beaten path but a very cute little place within a 2 minute walk to everything. follow the instructions and you won't have trouble finding it!

Always my go to when staying in Placencia! It has been a treasure and pleasure to be able to stay with Therese. Situated very close to markets and walkable to village/the beach! This work trip was so perfect! Thank you so much!

First impressions were not good. The short two house alley to the property was in effect a building site. Lots of building materials and 2 men working on the adjacent house. Noise and privacy were initial issues but fortunately I arrived for my 3 night stay just before the weekend break. Inside, the flat was modern, ceiling fans, a/c, large TV in bedroom but some annoyances: There was a stool in the kitchen area but no real chair/table arrangement for eating or planning activities. Doors needed strong push to close and lock. Slow microwave (6+ mins to heat a cup of water). Outside, the porch had a comfy hammock and clothes line and pegs. Also chairs and small table (underneath which was clutter and a large broken glass vase). Overall, disappointed at being next to work site and did not feel relaxed in flat. I was happy to subsequently relocate to a nearby beach cabin location.

It worked out perfectly for my needs - solo, kitchen appointed well if I wanted to cook, hammock on porch was great for reading or napping, easy walking to beach, grocery store, restaurants. Therese was always friendly, responsive & available - I feel I have made a new friend. The only issue would be to give more detailed/better directions, and better signage to the place, since there are no addresses in Placencia. Taxi from airport just dropped me off on the main street & pointed down the (wrong) lane, which, of course, is not Therese's fault, but the driver's. It had just become dark & I wandered around, with my heavy suitcase, trying to find the place. After about 30 minutes, with the help of some other tourists & a local resident, we found it.

This location is great in terms of walking and accessibility to restaurants and shops! Turn at the real estate office - it’s behind the bright pink and teal house.

Therese is an excellent host and quickly responds to texts. I got to know her a little and meet some of her friends. The apartment was within walking distance to everything so I never rented a golf cart. Next time though I will to check out Maya Beach area!!

Had a little trouble finding the place, but that was due to my own lack of navigation skills (Theresa's directions were spot on). Arrived early and Theresa let me drop off my bag so I could go explore. she checked on me during the stay, everything was great in the home. Aircon was a huge plus (you do want to close the bedroom door for max effect), kitchen had everything you would need, hot showers. it's not a "glamorous" stay, but it is fantastic value for the price and I was super happy there. Only thing is the walls are very thin, so you definitely hear whatever is going on outside (cat vs iguana battles). This was a great home base for exploring Placencia, and an easy walk to everything. definitely recommend

very enjoyable 2 week stay at Therese's airbnb ground floor apt in local neighborhood. walkable to close by beach, restaurants, coffee cafes, grocery stores, Gelato & bakery shops & veg/fruit stands. really enjoyed the local flavor of Placencia. Thank you, Therese
