Everything was fine

Casa Balam is an amazing place to stay! It is super clean, spacious, comfortable, safe and private. There is everything you need for a dream vacation: easy access to the surf, board racks to store your boards, a pool and outside lounge, big screen tvs with access to sports games, a large kitchen for making meals, and super comfortable beds in large bedrooms. Our host, Krista was easily available for any questions we had. We loved this place!

Krista was really great, so helpful and responsive. The place was great, clean. They provided plenty of waters and even had a midstay tidying. Would recommend and return.

Our group of 7 loved our stay at Casa Balam. The place is very well appointed. The pool area is perfect for group lounging. The location is perfect - just a short walk to the main surf break and some great beachfront restaurants. The 4 big bedrooms are extremely comfortable. Our group found the downstairs room with the two single beds a bit less comfortable, so ended up having folks bunk up in the four primary bedrooms. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!

We had such an amazing stay. The place is as described and so family friendly. We travelled with two little kids and they had all the things you would need at the house. Our host was friendly, welcoming, and made us feel right at home with great suggestions for local restaurants, Nannies, chefs and other things. The pool was nicely warm and even the baby was super happy floating in it. We will be back!

Lovely home, fit 8 people easily, had everything you needed. Kristen was fabulous and so accommodating and anything we needed, she was on it! Would absolutely stay here again!

Lovely beach house for a group. Two minute walk to the beach, which was never too crowded, but had a lot of nice little restaurants. House has an amazing pool with an outdoor bar and TV setup which was great for having sports on in the background. Can’t speak highly enough of the hosts, who were very communicative and helpful. Can’t wait to come back!

Great house for groups or families, super easy walk to the beach. Four bedrooms, each with its own private bathroom. Awesome outdoor kitchen next to the pool. Great place to cool off and hang.

Great place! The pool and lounge area with grass yard was a great place to relax with friends and read, cool off, etc. Very easy walk to bars/restaurants/surf. Host was super helpful and communicative! Would definitely stay again

Great location and house

Casa Balam is a magical place, from the moment you walk in You feel a serene sense of Calm. The property itself boasts beautiful mature palm trees, hammocks and a lovely swimming pool along with an outdoor kitchen. The home was very spacious and a great layout! Thank you for having us!

Casa Balam totally exceeded our expectations! Right by world-class surf and beautiful surroundings. The place was the absolutely perfect place to relax with a group of friends before and after surf. Seriously cannot wait to go back.

We absolutely loved our stay at this home! It felt like we were in a Tommy Bahama photo shoot. It was close enough to easily walk to the point but also far enough to feel like we had some privacy from all the beach goers. The house was nicely laid out and would be great for a group. Each room has large beds and a private bathroom. Plenty of space! They even set us up with pool toys & a high chair for the baby which was a great perk when traveling with our kids (age 4.5 and 10months). The yard was beautiful and so was the pool! We had a nice lady come clean in the middle of our stay which was great took have the floors swept after teaching in breach sand and to have clean linens. The home packet war very kinds. We were able to check in and so as we arrived into town and checkout at our own convenience. He was a great host and very accommodating! He made the whole process very easy for us which allowed us to have a great time with our family. We felt very safe and taken care of!

Wonderful week of surf and relaxation. House is very comfortable and airy, great landscaping make the views beautiful in all directions. Host was easy to communicate with and very responsive. Great spot to chill post-surf and fully stocked for cooking big family meals.

We stayed for a family reunion almost a complete months with 5-9 people ( our kids + spouses ). The place for ideal for that with a large kitchen and a little garden oasis. Walking to the beach is only a few meters. Our host was always reachable via WhatsApp and quick with help. We loved the place and would always come back !

We had an amazing time hanging around the relaxing pool area! Short walk to the surf break and an even shorter walk to our favourite local food spot “Kevin’s”. Thanks for the great stay!
