We had a comfortable stay at Mario's. We only stayed 1 night and booked the day in advance. He was quickly responsive, friendly, instructions were very clear and he was present at our arrival for the check-in. The value for money is good. The cabins are cozy and match the photos. Because of our short stay, we did not use the facilities such as the kitchen and the swimming pool, but everything looked fine. Thank you!

Mario's place was worth every penny. It's very quiet, peaceful, and close to the beach. It's actually best to take a short drive to the beach than walk. Mario was a great host overall.

The place was great! The description and pictures were very accurate. Mario is a great host, always available, flexible and helpful. The entire complex is constantly maintained. A car is recommended if you want to see several beaches in the area.

This place is an Oasis. It has so much charm and soul with it's wooden cabinas, all the tall trees and beautiful flowers. I felt at home right away. During my week long stay I got to see monkeys, Iguanas, Hummingbirds and many more animals without having to leave the Hotel. The beach is super close and is just stunning. Having a car here is a plus, but the walk to Avellanas (about 20-30 minutes) via the beach and forest is beautiful too. Mario is a wonderful and kind host who goes above and beyond to make sure you have the best stay possible. I did! I can recommend this place very much and hope to be able to come back some day!

We loved the playa Avellanas industry! This Airbnb is perfectly located near the beach for sunsets, small restaurants and surf atmosphere, but quiet at the same time. Really nice and not too touristy. I recommend x1000 this destination compared to Tamarindo which is much too touristy and has nothing to do with Pura Vida!

Great quiet location, close walk to the beach. It's on a rough dirt road that you may want a high clearance vehicle for but 4x4 is not necessary. Rustic cabinas provide a comfortable place to relax and it's great having two pools so there's always a bit of shade to be found. There were a lot of fallen leaves in the pools because it's the dry season and windy, but they did clean them several times a day to try and keep up with it. Our cabina had an issue with the lock and the hosts quickly added another one so that we had good security. The kitchenette is sparsely equipped but fine for making something basic or reheating leftovers. Overall a great, relaxing and welcoming place.

My experience was smooth, I even expected to be a little troubling because I didn't know the place and compared to other airbnbs it was quite cheap, but I found it a great experience, it was worth the cost benefit, simple room and with everything I needed, I loved the location and Avellanas beach became one of my favorites in the world, especially for surfing. Definitely would!

Hosts were all very friendly and helpful, and the place was lovely. The location is quite rural, very pretty but means it’s a-bit of a walk to Playa Avellana (15mins) and the nearest supermarket (30 mins). However, I think that quietness comes with staying in Avellana and we enjoyed it. All in all we had a great stay!

The hosts Juan and Patrica are the best, they are always willing to give tips to get to know the area. The room is fine and the pool is very refreshing. Looking forward to coming back soon
