Our stay was great. We had a little issue with the AC and we miscommunicated on getting it resolved. But once it was resolved everything was great. Loved how it was close to the market and many different restaurants. The view was fantastic. Would highly recommend.

The building is wonderful if you can rent from anyone in this building. The only issue we found in this particular unit was the AC in the front right room and the Living room area would cut off during the day after a few hours, but once the breaker box was found the breaker was reset until few hours it would trip again.. owner was informed and stated maintenance would be done when we could coordinate entry with maintence but be had no issue during our time as we were out & about most of day and the AC never seemed to trip at night while we were there. Otherwise all other aspects great.

Great location, it has everything that you need. Walking distance to avenue with all the restaurants and also walkable to the beach clubs at the North beach. The apartment has all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Mayte was very responsive, helpful and attentive.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. My group and I were comfortable throughout our two-night visit, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond by providing helpful recommendations on places to visit and activities to enjoy in the area. Overall, it was a great experience, and we would gladly stay here again.

This place was a great location, walkable to lots of restaurants and downtown. We woke up to a beautiful view each morning and the nice breeze off of the ocean felt great. The pool was relaxing and a great place to come after a day at the beach. Such a great place! Lots of room for our family of 6.

Mayte was always quick to respond. The water heater for the entire complex was down, (not her fault) she kept us informed on when we could expect repairs to be completed. We did have a toddler with us so we needed to move some things from low shelves to higher shelves so they wouldn’t be damaged. Overall it was a nice place and a great location

The condo was absolutely beautiful, location was perfect, and our host was wonderful. The space in the bottom floor allowed for an outdoor oasis. The views were incredible and location was tucked away out of the business of the town. Quiet but active area. The sunrise was beautiful everyday. I had a few questions prior and our host responded right away. She checked on us while we were there. This was a wonderful experience! Thank you!

This place is amazing! Was perfect for us and you really can’t beat the location. The view is exactly like the pictures. Close to so many things! Truly a gem!

Mayte's ground-floor unit is the best in the building, in my family's opinion! Our little kid could take a few steps out the back door and jump right into the beautiful pool. The pool's shallow sunbathing section was perfect for our baby to wade in. The view from the unit and sound of the ocean waves was wonderful. The unit itself was very clean, modern, and really comfortable. The building is so close to Playa Norte (even our little kid didn't complain about the short walk to the beach) and many restaurants. Mayte is a responsive and very helpful host. We had a wonderful stay!

The location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, and shops. The views of the beach were stunning, and the space was clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. The best Airbnb on Isla Mujeres. We stayed with the entire family (7 people) for the second time with Mayte. It is the perfect location to Playa Norte - food - bars and everything you need. It is fully equipped. Mayte is super fast in communication and also extended her checkout by 2 hours free of charge. We're coming a third time too! Thank you dear Mayte. Beautiful stay steps to the pool with an ocean view. The condo was as described, clean and located in the heart of the busy north side.

Perfect stay at this beautiful Belaqua condo! 3 very large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a lovely terrace overlooking the pool and sea view! The location is GREAT, all the good restaurants and bars in walking distance. There were 4 of us and we loved our stay. I recommend it, you won't be disappointed!

Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on In many trips to Mexico! The condo was very well appointed and comfortable.

It was our favorite place to stay at!! Such beautiful property. Everywhere we needed to go was walking distance. It had the perfect amount of place for my family. They provided the game loteria and we played it more than once. We will be booking with Mayte in the future!

One of the best Air BnB experiences I have ever had! Mayte was quick and detailed with all of our questions, helping us organize airport rides and groceries upon our arrival. Her daughter met us at the ferry and walked us right to the gorgeous condo. The best unit in the building, walking right out to the pool, with perfect views of the ocean. It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Walking distance of great restaurants and shops, rented a golf cart to explore the south of the island one day but spent tons of time at the Air BnB because it was just so beautiful. Thank you SO MUCH, Mayte. My dad, sisters and I had the vacation of a lifetime.

We really enjoyed the house and location. Beautiful views, wonderful pool,, right on the boardwalk for walking yet very private. So close to fun shops and restaurants AND beach. Would highly recommend AND look forward to our next stay.

This was our second stay at Belaqua. Loved the first floor unit. Easy access to the pool and comfortable furnishings. Kitchen was well equipped and had a nice selection of spices. very responsive host.

Mayte was beyond accommodating with my questions and her place couldn't have been better located. walkable to everything on the north end of Isla and yes just outside of the noisy area of Hidalgo. beautiful and spacious with unbeatable views, this place is the perfect location for 4 to 6 guests like our crew.

We’ve stayed on the island several times. This location was perfect! Easy to get around and central to all the things we wanted.

Our family of 6 adult and one child had plenty of room in the accommodation. It was beautiful to wake up every morning seeing the ocean out the sliding glass doors and the sun rising. The location was quieter than staying on the main beach side which we liked but also windier. The beach was still very walkable to get to as was most everything in this part of the island. Mayte was very easy to communicate with. The only problem was we were enjoying ourselves so much that we didn't see all of her communication when she sent it! Had a wonderful stay and time with our family. Would recommend to others.

The place was amazing!!!!! Everything was clean and tidy, big and spacious rooms, right on the sea with a stunning beach 1 minute walk, central area, the pool is big and clean, in short we had an amazing stay!

the best of you in all of the island

We had the most relaxing and wonderful stay in Mayte’s space. The place is spacious and worked well for our family of 6. The unit is perfectly positioned both in the complex and on the island. It is closest to the entrance of the building and being on the corner has incredible views of the ocean! Our teens loved having the pool right outside the door and the complex is small enough that many times during our stay we had the pool to ourselves. The apartment is a walk of 10 minutes or less to most of the shops and restaurants on the island. The gorgeous and relaxing Playa Norte is a short walk away as well. We were grateful that Mayte provided filtered water. Mayte is a wonderful host and gave great recommendations for restaurants. Our favorite restaurant was right at the end of the block and a wonderful coffee shop is just around the corner. Thank you, Mayte for sharing your beautiful space. We feel so lucky that we got to stay here and hope to come back for another visit.

My family had a wonderful stay at this airbnb. It was exactly as shown, great location and extremely safe. We were staying while hurricane Beryl hit the island. The wonderful host prepared us properly, made sure we were safe, and even offered us to stay an extra day complimentary due to the hurricane. She installed hurricane shutters and was supportive the entire time. During the hurricane the entire island lost power and water, the host had someone in the building deliver extra water to us to drink and to flush the toilets etc. I couldn’t have asked for a better contact, let alone host. I would recommend this airbnb and amazing host to anyone.

Mayte’s condo was the perfect vacation home for our family of 5! The location was excellent, within walking distance to most everything near Playa Norte, and a short golf cart ride to the beach. Walking out our back door straight to the pool was an added bonus!

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. So glad we chose the ground floor to walk right out to the pool. The location is great!!! We loved the rolling waves ocean view. The only thing I would like to change would be to have more towels provided, one bath towel and one beach towel per person for a week long stay was not enough. We were told we could drop off at the laundry a block away and pick up the next day, but who wants to deal with that on vacation? We made do with what we had but it was not ideal. Mayte and her co-hosts were always so fast with responses to messages and very helpful. We would absolutely stay here again.

Mayte was incredibly responsive and helpful. She went above and beyond and responded within minutes during the stay she was fantastic!

Its new and nicely furnished with a great big dining table and comfortable couch. Easy access to the pool. Great location on N end of the island near the malecon, Hidalgo, Super Aki, North beach. Front row seats to every sunrise. Great quality: beach & bath towels, hair dryer, plumbing, toilet paper, a/c, beach chairs & patio furniture, refrigerator. The mattresses are on the soft side. Some noise at night from the outside and the ocean. No hot water in any of the sinks. Mayte was very responsive and flexible. She allowed us later check out. Shes very helpful and accommodating.

Mayte is sweetheart! Their home is amazing and it's in a perfect location. We really enjoyed it as a family.

Felt safe and right at home. Mayte was very polite and welcoming. She provided us with everything we needed and helped us with any questions we had. Mostly everything was walking distance especially the beach. Will definitely be staying here again.

We had an amazing time at Mayte's place! The apartment is new and has fantastic amenities. The sliding glass doors open out to the pool, which is very refreshing after a hot day. The apartment has a perfect location. You can watch the sunrise and hear the waves outside. It is quiet at the building, but only a few blocks to all the restaurants and Playa Norte. There is a cart, chairs, cooler, and umbrella, perfect for a day at the beach. We usually cooked breakfast at the apartment and went out to eat the rest of the time. Mayte met us in-person at check-in and was very helpful with recommendations. She even helped us arrange a ride to our next destination. We wish we could have stayed longer!
