The apartment was very nice and in a great location

The place very much matches the description and photos. It is a short walk to the main pool and beach. It feels very safe with two gates and private security on patrol. The place is mostly quiet and a bit secluded as it is a mile or 2 from the main part of town (5ta Avenida or downtown PDC). We experienced a couple of power outages, longest was about 8 hours. Not sure how common that is, just know that water does not run when power is out. We ended up going into town during the outage and had a great time, so wasn’t that bad. Beach had quite a bit of seaweed, sargassum. It’s a problem throughout Quintana Roo in the summer months (global warming). The custodians did a pretty good job of combing the beach, but that stuff is everywhere. Smells bad but otherwise is just kind of a nuisance. In a weird way the beach was a lot less crowded as most opted for the nearby pool. Can’t fault the host for either of those problems though. The place was overall a great experience.

From start to finish the experience was delightful. I flew into Playa for dental work and all the amenities in the complex and the condo were just what I needed for recovery. The private patio and plunge pool were awesome!

I really appreciated the little things in this place. It came stocked with everything to make it feel like home. The entire property and condo was amazing and the pools were very spacious to where we had felt we had parts to ourselves. We were traveling multi generational from toddler teenagers to elderly and they all enjoyed it. We felt very safe and would definitely come again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Top-Notch Stay! Our experience at this resort was nothing short of amazing! Communication was seamless, and the amenities were absolutely beautiful. We especially loved the swim-out pool—such a luxury! The larger pools were fantastic, and our kids had an absolute blast. The beach access was just steps away, and one of our favorite parts was being able to walk along the beach for about 20-30 minutes right into Playa del Carmen—such a perfect way to explore! The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals, and the big sectional couch made for cozy evenings together. And the patio—wow! We absolutely loved how spacious it was, making it the perfect spot to relax and unwind. And the on-site restaurant? Incredible! Every meal was delicious, and the quality exceeded our expectations. If you’re looking for the perfect place for your next trip, I highly recommend staying here—you won’t be disappointed!

This place exceeded my expectations. We are a family of 3 and there was so much room! The condo is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The location on the ground floor was amazing and we spent a lot of time chilling and enjoying the beautiful view and listening to the sounds of the birds. This was a 5 star experience!

Such a perfect spot for a family beach vacation with young children. The dipping pool on the patio was absolutely perfect for us!! Our kids (5 and 2) spent hours in it. The larger complex pool was also great. Never felt crowded and lots of other young families to play with in the toddler pool area. Beach access was amazing to have. Our concierge Jiteh was absolutely incredible. We wanted to hit the easy button on this trip and she made sure that could happen for us.

The condo is very nice and so are the pools, the beds are very comfortable and the beach is very private, everything is extremely clean, I would like to go back but I would like a little discount, just for personal motivation, hehe

We had the very best weeks’ stay at Ahmed’s place. It was super clean, modern, exactly as described, with every small appliance and high end kitchen cutlery and furnishings. The beach was prob the best we’ve ever seen in Mexico. And the pool was stunning. I would love to stay here again! Ahmed responded to any questions that we had, literally within minutes. Can’t wait to return!

We had a pleasant stay with the family in the Mareazul complex which is secure. The apartment was clean and well-equipped. Very nice environment, beautiful landscaped beach and very large uncrowded pool. Our daughter was able to enjoy the mini pool in the apartment which was a real plus. A big thank you to Ahmed for his kindness and availability.

This restful, serene location has a beautiful beach and excellent amenities. The unit is well-appointed, spacious, and equipped with everything you need. Wonderful place to stay! Family friendly, delicious restaurants, and very safe. Mareazul is a large complex and never felt crowded. Lots of construction but the working hours were reasonable and did not disturb us at all. Gorgeous well maintained beach! Staff were very helpful setting up lounge chairs and umbrellas. Market on site is small but has essential items. Highly recommend!

As described, this place is amazing. Not only is the beach less than a 5-minute walk, the pool is huge, uncrowded, and very well maintained. The employees at the front desk are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful, and the restaurant was very tasty. If you plan to go into town often, I think a rental car would be helpful, but if you're looking for a quiet, beautiful place to stay, this is it. I did have a little issue with Airbnb charging me for something that I know was not our doing, but Ahmed was fantastic throughout the process and I would definitely rent this place again. Thanks

Awesome host! Beautiful and clean condo. The walk to the beach was super close to the condo and the pools were always clean. We will definitely book again!!

We had a beautiful family vacation in large part thanks to this wonderful place. It's a very nice apartment, it also has nice decoration. The small pool in the front makes the balcony a very nice place to spend the afternoon. Beds very comfortable and clean. Very well equipped, both the kitchen and the rooms. Separate air conditioning in each room, all elements of the house worked perfect. Upon our arrival, everything was very clean and details such as water to drink and washing things that served us a lot ! The host was pending the whole time and was very flexible to help us with a couple of special requirements we had during the stay. The staff of the place is very friendly everything and the beautiful surroundings. We have nice photos ! We feel very safe, on the beach and inside the condo. We rented a car and went to Tulum to see the ruins of Coba, in Xcaret and a couple of cenotes nearby. Very enjoyable all walks.

This has been a WONDERFUL stay, Ahmed has been very kind and has helped us spend some unforgettable days with our family in such a beautiful place. Mareazul is a residential complex of singular beauty, very exclusive, located on the beautiful Caribbean Sea of the Riviera Maya. It has direct access to the beach club that is located in a bay of great beauty, restaurants, hammock islands, huge pools, tennis and paddle courts, etc., etc., truly a WONDERFUL place to enjoy a paradisiacal vacation. Steps from the famous 5th Avenue and about 10 minutes from the center of Playa del Carmen. We recommend visiting Cafe KAWA, and the golf course which is located inside Corasol . The apartment is very spacious, and with very luxurious equipment, and even has a private pool and jacuzzi with a beautiful view. We have been delighted with this place, we will definitely return!!!.

Ahmet is a great host and extremely trusting. He always acted in our interest and made us feel very good. The location of the apartment is first class. Great facility, clean beach section, extremely safe and mam even has shopping. By car, you can reach Playa del Carmen center in about 7-8 minutes and the airport takes about 45-50 minutes. We would definitely book with Ahmed again.

Ahmed was the best host! He is super friendly and his response time is incredible! This resort is very family friendly, greatly well-kept, and has good security. It looks just like the photos. His place is very clean and the AC works great which was amazing to cool down in after being outside in the humid heat. It was also very convenient to be able to cook some meals during our stay! He provides dinnerware and cooking utensils/pans. We loved that there was a designated parking spot for us so we didn't have to find parking after long days of exploring Cancun and we loved our access to the beach! It didn't have very clear water, but we didn't mind because the pools were amazing to swim in. I would absolutely recommend Ahmed's airbnb to anyone looking for a place to stay in Playa del Carmen!

Our vacation at Marezul was truly exceptional. This home exceeded all of our expectations, providing a comfortable and enjoyable environment throughout our stay. The host's exceptional communication skills added an extra layer of convenience and hospitality to our experience. Their prompt and clear communication made us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better vacation rental experience.

Our stay at Ahmed's Casa Bonita was fabulous. The condo was perfect for my three girlfriends and myself. Beds are really comfortable and the place is peaceful. We were able to cook all our meals in the very well equipped kitchen, Whenever we didn't feel like going to the beach or the pool, we had a dip in the mini pool in front of terrace. Casa Bonita is close to eveything you need: You walk just a few minutes and you are at the beach where you can have a long walk towards Playa Del Carmen or rest sitting comfortably under a beach umbrella. Don't be afraid of sargass, the beach in front of Mareazul is free of them. The sea is warm and inviting. You can also have your meals at the two nice restaurants on the Resort. We would go back anytime!

Ahmed is a very attentive super host, he answers all questions and I help me with everything I needed my doubts and during my stay. The place is exactly as shown in the pictures, it is spacious, very comfortable and quiet. It is very clean and comes with everything you need during your stay. The location is good is 10 min away by car from the center of Playa del Carmen.

We very much enjoyed our stay , the condo is updated, spacious, very clean and comfortable. Ahmed was always responsive and provided us with great restaurants and activities recommendations. The gated community is safe, well maintained with a lot to do on site. We enjoyed the pristine beach and the spacious pool, and with the Spa, sports courts being on site made it very convenient for the family. I also recommend the beach cafe, great food and beautiful views. A great place and host, together made it such a memorable vacation .. we will certainly come again!

Our stay at Ahmed’s condo in Playa was an amazing experience from start to finish! The condo is more like your private vacation home away from home, superbly located in the best location at Playa del Carmen, very short drive from the busy center with all restaurants, night life and public beaches, while the gated community where the condo is is super safe, private, luxuriously equipped with tennis courts, spa, private beach, beach restaurants and sparkling clean heated pools. The condo is extremely clean, beautiful interior design, well equipped with all our needs, kitchen appliances, beach towels, free hot and cold drinking water is a great plus, feels more like 5 stars hotel with the convenience of your own private apartment! Ahmed the host was extremely responsive, pleasant and professional, allowing us to check in early due to our arrival. Very clear check in instructions, WiFi, parking, etc. and great local recommendations when we asked for it. Thank you so much, we will be back!

I’m regular Airbnb travellers and would rate Ahmed’s apartment as one of the nicest, best-located, and real value of all the places we have stayed. The place was very clean, modern, had everything we needed to feel at home, and was an easy walk to all the sites we wanted to see.

I love everything about Ahmed’s place. Not only the place was better than the pictures, but it was very clean and easy to get in. Ahmed was extremely helpful, professional and nice from the beginning, making sure my stay was going fine. He even put together a little gift for my grandparents as it was their first time in Mexico. I had the most wonderful vacation ever. The place was exactly as it appeared on the picture. This incredible space is well decorated and provides a sense of relaxation. The bed was very comfortable, the towels were of high quality, and the beach and pool were excellent. It's definitely the best beach in Playa de Carmen. Ahmed was extremely responsive, amazing, and super helpful with lots of great recommendations for food and activities.
