Hi Mary, I am glad you enjoyed our condo.
I would like to address some things you mentioned. Our condo is fully stocked to start you stay with us. We do not stock refrigerator, therefore, you have to make a trip to the grocery story. There are several groceries stores within 1 or 2 miles, easy walking distance. We usually walk to them and taxi back.
Yes, there is a night club on the beach across the river that is open over weekends. It is out of our control. Our condo is located on the 24th floor and the sound carries up, so sometimes it does sound louder than usual all the way on the 24th floor, surprisingly!
It is privately owned condo complex, and I am surprised you felt unwelcomed. Normally, the security approaches the party ONLY if the party is loud or getting obnoxious. I could've addressed that issue, if contacted me during your stay. They have no right to bug you. It is correct, they do not allow drinks or food IN the pool, but you definitely allowed to have it by your lounges by the pool.
I play music all the time by the pool. It is allowed by the pool. Security would approach you only if it is very loud.
The reason for small eating area, is because the main restaurant was being remodeled, which is out of our control. It is currently reopened.
I always have great service by the pool. The only explanation for slow service I can provide is that the restaurant was under remodel during your stay.
I believe the condo is a good fit for small kids. I have small kids myself and they love swimming there. My kids bring toys all the time and they do plenty splashing in the pool. If you are respectful of other guests and not splashing them, the kids can splash.
We have a good mix of owner, retired, families, singles. I wouldn't call it a retirement community.
Again, I feel bad that you didn't contact me during your stay and you felt unwelcomed and security bugged you without any reason.
