The house was better than the photos. Clean, well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. My family and I had a wonderful stay in Nosara. The location was perfect. It was walking distance to the beach, close to restaurants, and quiet at night. The host was helpful with local recommendations and airport transportation.
We had a great stay at Olas Pacifica. Our host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The place was really nice - even better than the photos! Pool and outdoor area was beautiful and kitchen/living area was a great place to hang out and prepare meals. Location was very good - close walk to Playa Pelada for sunsets. Guiones was a bout a 20 minute walk from the house. Overall a great stay and would come back again!
We had a lovely stay here and overall really enjoyed the property. The location was fantastic and the house was everything we envisioned. The concierge was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the home itself was very clean when we arrived. The one reason I couldn’t give five stars was the pool. Unfortunately, it remained cloudy and murky for our entire stay. We saw the pool service person come by twice, but the pool still appeared dirty afterward. I brought three of my kids and they were only able to wade in the shallow end for maybe two hours total during the whole week, which was disappointing. We also experienced some ants during our stay. Having a few ant traps available would have been helpful. Aside from those issues, we truly enjoyed our time here and appreciated the beautiful location and welcoming service. We always feel sad leaving paradise!
This place is a hidden gem! Perfect for three couples or two families. The only complaint I had was that we didn't realize there is no A/C in the main area (living room and kitchen) - I just missed this part in the description, but it's there. We wouldn't have cared except, other than above the kitchen sink, there are no screens on the windows or sliding door, so you can't have those open much without letting a bunch of bugs in, and it gets hot inside if the windows/doors aren't open. The location is perfect. Walkable to both sides of town, the beach, great restaurants, etc. The property itself is amazing. It's definitely a larger property and one of the few left with some "jungle" on site. There's a half bath outside to use, along with an outdoor shower, an area to compost, and a surfboard locker/storage space. Two parking areas which was super convenient when didn't want to use the gated car area. We would rent this place again, if not for the value of location alone. Great rental!

My husband and four kids stayed here for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute of it. Easy walk to the beach, restaurants and coffee shop (Rolling Waves, best coffee). If we had an issue the host was on top of it. The host had great recommendations on bakery, rental cars and photographer. Felt very safe in this home. We had cleaning service once a week and pool guy twice a week. Which was a nice thing that came with the home. Kitchen was fully stocked with cooking utensils. The kids loved the pool after a long day at the beach. We got to hear the howler monkeys most mornings. Which we loved and was an amazing experience. The people in this town are the most friendly people you will meet. My family and I will definitely be back. Thank you for having us!
We enjoyed our stay! The house and property are beautiful and private. Located in a convenient location easily within walking distance to restaurants and the beech. We had a couple issues that came up one of which was the air conditioner was not working in the bunk room, but the host was very responsive and accommodating and was able to get it fixed in about a day and a half even though it was over the weekend.
This house was perfect for our family vacation in Nosara! We loved the private yard and spacious pool. The beach is just a short walk away as well as the shops and restaurants in town. We enjoyed the backyard visits from multiple Coatis and tropical birds. Hope to come back for another visit!!
We stayed in this beautiful home for a month with our 5 month old and had a wonderful time! It’s in a much more relaxed, quiet part of town with an easy 5 minute walk to Playa pelada. Perfect for evening sunsets. Also a handful of great restaurants within walking distance. If you’re looking to surf, probably worthwhile renting a vehicle and it’s about a 10 minute drive into playa Guiones where the main surfing area is. You can walk but it’s closer to 20minutes (and quite a hot/sunny walk). The home has a very well equipped kitchen and the outdoor dining area and pool was lovely. Overall the space was perfect for us and would recommend it to others :)
This house is beautiful and the location is amazing. We came down with 5 college students for spring break and they were able to walk around and were pretty independent.
Such a beautiful place for our family vacation. We couldn’t have asked for more! Check in was super easy and 30 min later we were on the path down the road to the beach! Pretty much every morning was started off with a walk for coffee to the local cafe (sunrise cafe) and ended with getting some snacks and drinks at the bodega and heading to see the sunrise. All in all a 10 out of 10!
We really enjoyed our stay at this house in Nosara. We were two families totaling seven people (4 adults and 3 kids) and had plenty of space. The outdoor space is beautiful and spacious. It’s a quick walk to the beach and is in the heart of Nosara close to shops and restaurants. The kitchen was well stocked as well.
We’ve been coming to Nosara for years and we love the location of this this home. The beach is just a few minutes away as is the main road with shopping and restaurants. You can also easily reach nightlife a few streets north of the home and the food trucks. we rated it as five stars. The only thing we would recommend: air conditioning in the main living space. (Bedrooms have great AC), locking and unlocking the bar gate was a bit tricky at the main sliding door entrance.
