Our stay in Monteverde was excellent. We spent quality time as a family, and it was simply perfect. Roy is very kind and attentive, always making sure everything was just right. The cabins are beautiful, comfortable, and surrounded by nature, which makes the experience even more special and peaceful. Definitely one of the best places to stay in Monteverde for a family. Highly recommended.

I prefer to choose Airbnbs that have a certain charm to it and this one was no exception. The hosts were very kind and welcoming. It is a hike from SJO airport, but if you have your own vehicle it is easy to find. It is also very close driving distance to Santa Elena and 20 minutes away from Selvatura park. The property is a gem. There is a sunrise observation deck and nice trails to walk around. The place fit 9 people comfortably! There is an option to order breakfast, which was delicious and kid approved!! I highly recommend this place when visiting Monteverde.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The property is beautiful and peaceful. Everyone we encountered was kind and helpful. Our kids enjoyed playing with the dogs and climbing the sunset tower.

This was a lovely spot, close to Monteverde and with beautiful grounds to explore! We loved hearing the family stories and learning by about the history of the area!

We loved staying with Leo and Reina— there were cute dogs and a cat around that we really liked, and the surroundings were beautiful. They were very helpful helping us find stuff to do and very friendly.

We had a great time. The house was nice and had everything we needed, the hosts we very friendly and helpful. Our children loved their dogs.

If you can find availability, this is place you don't want to miss. The place itself has a short 15 minutes trail around the property. The surrounding is so well designed and all designed by the family. we definitely feel like home. The host Roy is super responsive. He usually responds within 30 minutes. He gives us good recommendations too. We are a big group of ten people and the two rooms cabin is a perfect setting with two queens and a twin in each room. The location is amazing. a few minutes drive can take you to the downtown area where has lots of good restaurant options and souvenir shops. Downtown is very cute!! It is also close to major Zipline companies. ~30 minutes. It's so close to everything but you also have the peace and privacy. We highly recommend it!

Roy was very helpful and informative. The cabin was extremely clean and easy to get to. It had all the appliances we needed to make meals. its also minutes from downtown and all the major tourist attractions in the area.

From the moment of booking Roy was so helpful in planning our trip to Monteverde. he got quotes for transportation for us and booked it, as well as recommending activities and assisted on planning those and booking as well. We felt very well taken care of and appreciated having someone local helping us navigate things. We got their breakfast the first morning which was delictand they brought some extras for our girls, and even came back and cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes after we had left. Our kids loved playing with their pets, and exploring the property. Would highly recommend. It is a short drive outside of town but with a car or hired transport is not a problem to easily get around!

The grounds around this hotel were absolutely beautiful—lush, peaceful, and very private. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. It was a fantastic place to watch the sunset and see monkeys right on the property, which was such a special experience. We loved the option to have breakfast delivered to our room—it was such a nice and convenient touch. The hiking trails around the property were really cool and added to the overall experience. The location was excellent and made it very easy to get to multiple nearby destinations. We felt very safe the entire time. Highly recommend this place and would absolutely stay here again.

Place was clean and the hosts were great. There were monkeys in the trees and a friendly dog that welcomed us each day. No washer dryer in the room but they can do your laundry for an extra price that is a little steep, but overall an excellent place.

Our stay at cabin 5 was incredible. The large cabin perfectly fit our family of seven. We cooked almost all meals in the cabin and the kitchen though small it is fully equipped. The beds were comfortable, the showers hot, and Roy treated us as family. It is so nice to have such a personal touch. We loved walking the grounds, from the sunset overlook to feeding the capuchin monkeys with Roy, it felt serene and magical. We hope to come back some day.

We loved our stay here! Very spacious bedrooms with a Beautiful property and trails to walk on. Our kids adored their dog Draco.
