Excellent property. The location alone is worth it, but it's actually better than in the photos. The double terrace is very nice and the three bedrooms are a good size. The host was attentive and always resolved everything. Overall, one of the best options in downtown Oaxaca.

Thank you for the stay! We enjoyed our visit in Oaxaca with our family. The place was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The air conditioning and fans were a relief after the day of exploring outside. Having many communal places to gather were definitely a plus, especially for our daughter who came to visit us throughout her college internship. We definitely would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Oaxaca. The home was beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully decorated with tasteful Mexican artwork, which made it feel warm and authentic. It is conveniently located and we could easily walk to restaurants, galleries, coffee shops, basically everywhere. The beds were very comfortable, and our host was incredibly helpful, going out of her way to answer questions and reply promptly throughout our stay. We really appreciated the excellent hospitality and would happily stay here again.

This place is very conveniently located; everything is less than 5 minutes away. The house had everything we needed and a terrace where you can have breakfast with a beautiful view of Oaxaca! We really enjoyed our stay, and our host was very friendly! I highly recommend it!

La Heredad is a beautiful home located within walking distance to the main square, many markets, galleries and fabulous restaurants. The three en suite bedrooms were perfect for our family and the living room/dining/kitchen were lovely.

Best new neighborhood in Oaxaca! Home was a gem and just as beautiful as the photos! We were able to walk everywhere! Lots of cafes, markets, restaurants and museums within easy walk. A quiet street for most of our stay… though some party noise on Friday night at a nearby restaurant but it quieted down by 11 pm. Host was super responsive when I had questions regarding airport transfer and some minor housekeeping questions. Would 100% recommend this home and stay here again!

We stayed for a week with our three kids for Day of the Dead and this was a perfect home. Great location, super comfortable beds, room for us to spread out, very safe and walkable location. Charming decor, and the kids loved the hammock! We cooked meals at the house, walked to the grocery store, and relaxed on the rooftop deck. The home was perfect. This is a 10 out of 10 home—we’ll definitely be back!

First time in Oaxaca! We love the location of the house, a walking distance to Great restaurants, Museums and Churches!! We Love and enjoy La Guelaguetza! Feria Del Mezcal, Santa Maria del Tule, Monte albán etc.. what an unforgetable expereince we had. We only use a taxicab or private tourism car whenever we went for a tour otherwise we just walk. Super secure city and house. My group and I had an Oustanding Gastronomy experience, we try the street foods of Oaxaca - Los tradicionales Tacos del Carmen, Tlayudas, tamales de Mole Negro (One of mine favorite) Chapulines Doña Jóse, Memelas Doña Vale, Cafe de Olla.. I definitely recommend Origen Restaurant!! and Zandunga restaurant!! Amazing Stories behind their menus. Thank You Oaxaca for keeping All your Traditions Alive!! Veronica O.

The location here is fantastic; it's in a quiet neighborhood, and we could walk to all the major museums, popular restaurants, and markets within 10-15 minutes. Rarely did we need our car. The 3 story house is spacious with a full living room, kitchen, and terrace, along with three separate bedrooms, each with its own AC and bathroom. Easily sleeps 3 couples // 6 people if they share a bed. The home felt well-equipped for a longer stay and well maintained. Lili was also incredibly responsive and proactive, which was much appreciated as we had a small parking issue with the neighbor. House comes with one dedicated parking spot. Only two minor notes. One, some insects and lizards occasionally came inside when it rained but completely harmless. Second, water pressure could have been stronger in some bathrooms but always worked. Overall, I highly recommend for larger groups and families! Great value.

We had a bit of trouble at the start: we were given the wrong code to get in and an a/c unit was not working well. But Lili was very responsive and made sure that we were taken care of (even getting an a/c person out on a Sunday morning and overseeing the repairs). Otherwise, our stay was great. The house is much nicer, and bigger than the photos indicate. There are large areas (upstairs landing/office, courtyard) that we were not expecting, plus an extra half bath downstairs. The location was nice: walking distance to nearly everything we did in town, but a block or two out of the way from the heavily walked tourist and commercial areas. It was hot the week we were in Oaxaca, but the house stayed cool with the fans and the bedrooms (with a/cs) were a welcome refuge during the hottest part of each day. The two rooftop patios were beautiful spaces for morning use. Lili also hooked us up with a fantastic personal driver, Ana, for out of town excursions.

Lili's place is heavenly! Beautifully designed and an amazing space to decompress in after a long day of exploring Oaxaca. The only thing I will note, Oaxaca is warm and the air conditioners in the rooms were not great. They worked but just didn't cool down the room quickly and efficiently. Still a great experience!

The home is in a fantastic location and we really enjoyed using the two terraces. Lily is very responsive! We had a problem with the coffee maker and she brought a new machine a few hours later which we greatly appreciated. Beds were very comfortable. Art in the walls and plants and lighting is very good.

We had a wonderful experience at Lili's house. It is a beautiful home and was very well equipped for our two week stay. Lili was always very quick to respond to all of our needs and questions as they came up. The neighborhood felt very safe and everything we needed was within walking distance. We did not need a car or driver. The local grocery chain, Pitico, has two locations within walking distance. One is several blocks east of the house on Reforma on another one is 4 or 5 blocks south on M. Garcia Vigil. Be sure to take bags with you to carry your groceries. We had a good exchange rate at Santander ATM near Centro (south on M. Garcia Vigil). Many restaurants and shops accept credit cards but you will want Pesos if you want to shop at the local markets and street vendors. All of the restaurants the host recommends were very good. Non-organic trash is picked up on M & F, organic on W & Sat. at no fee, arrives 7-7:30 am and will ring a bell right outside the house.

Our stay at Lili's place was fantastic. Her home is in a great location on the edge of the historic city center within easy walking distance of all of the sights. We loved the indoor and outdoor spaces that gave the six of us plenty of choices to be out on her lovely rooftop deck, on the more protected terrace or in her beautifully appointed sitting room and dining area. The bedrooms and bathrooms were comfortable and we enjoyed cooking in her kitchen. There is a great market just a block away that was perfect for picking up fresh produce, juices, meats and delicious tamales. I would definitely recommend her place to other families.

This is a beautiful house in a fantastic location. Lili, the host, was exceptionally helpful in assisting us in caring for our 90 year old mother. Lili went out of her way to help us get a wheelchair and even had a small ramp built to help our mom move safely around the house. We couldn’t have asked for a better host or more perfect Christmas week. Thank you Lili!

We had a fantastic stay in a 3-bedroom apartment in the heart of Oaxaca. The apartment was well-equipped and each bedroom featured its own bathroom, providing great privacy. One bedroom on the ground floor had direct access to a lovely patio, perfect for relaxing. The location was ideal, with numerous restaurants, street art, museums, and galleries within walking distance. Our host, Lili, was exceptional, ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. This apartment truly enhanced our experience in Oaxaca!

We were here for El Dia de los Muertos and it was perfect. We could walk anywhere we wanted to. There were parades outside our door. We were in the middle of the magic.

This place is BEAUTIFUL and Lili is AWESOME! Our experience was great. Not only is the property exactly as described, but words do absolutely no justice in describing the amazing detail that has been put into decorating this property both inside and out. Everything was super clean and accurate to the description. This location was super ideal for our family and our needs. The property is 3 blocks from the templo de Santo Domingo and only 1 block from the andador macedonio alcalá, which basically takes you through the entire downtown tourist area. Lili is an extremely responsive host. She met us in person upon our arrival, which was an hour before check-in, and gave us a tour of the property. She was also more than willing to give us many wonderful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We loved the Mercado Sánchez Pascuas (two blocks away), which is basically a scaled down version of the larger markets that are much more crowded. I would stay here again with no doubt

We loved staying in Lili’s beautiful home. It was spacious enough for the 6 of us and a huge plus that every bedroom has its own bathroom. The location is perfect for walking to all the shops and restaurants yet far enough to be away from all the noise. Would definitely stay here again.

The most Amazing location in Oaxaca, beautiful art-filled home, very clean and comfortable with so many interesting books and decor and a gorgeous hammock. We loved the terrace and spent every night and sunrise outside watching the view and listening to the birds. Beautiful plants and blooming bougainvillea and palm trees everywhere! We will definitely stay here again. We loved it.

This is a beautifully decorated home in a quiet neighborhood about a 12 min walk north west of the Zocalo. The house has a big central living/dining area with a kitchen, and 3 bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. And there is a lovely roof terrace that is beautiful to hang out in in the early morning or evening.

This is a locally owned, beautifully appointed, ideally situated home. The owner met us at the home, walked us through all of the logistics of enjoying the place during our stay and remained in touch throughout our stay. She provided us with a contact for a driver who was also excellent and attentive and we utilized him throughout our stay. We also, by coincidence, ended up taking an excellent cooking class with the owner’s sister. The home is on a relatively quiet end of a main street at the northern edge of what appears to be the historic district and fronts a stone aqueduct. The house must be in every Oaxacan tourist’s photo as it seems someone is taking a snapshot every few minutes.

This really is an unbeatable location and the house is very comfortable and nicely furnished. Lili was very helpful and responsive.

We had a wonderful week long stay at Lilis house. The decor was amazing and space was large enough for the 6 of us. The house is located walking distance to many restaurants and sights in the center. There is a wonderful organic market located around the corner. One of the our favorite features of the house was the rooftop terrace and the hammock in the converted garage. Having 3.5 bathrooms was a plus when we were all getting ready in the morning. If you’re thinking about booking this listing don’t hesitate.

Stylish & comfortable home. Perfect location. Two upstairs bedroom are lovely. Balcony and rooftop are great for evening drinks or morning yoga/ coffee/ etc. Dining table elegant and large. Downstairs bedroom is smaller and darker, so not ideal for three couples —bed was hard and room lacked a/c but host was responsive and brought foam for mattress and installed a/c wall unit in one day. Would stay there again vet happily.

Lili's place is in a perfect location a welcome relief from sterile air bnb apartments without being filled with someone else's knick knacks. This is a beautiful and spacious home that works perfectly for 3 couples or an extended family. We didn't use the rooftop patio but that is truly an added bonus and gorgeous place to eat or have drinks. Lili was responsive and welcoming. We had everything we needed, including bottled water and extra towels/sheets/shampoo. Lili's family home reflects the culture and warmth of Oaxaca. We can't wait to return with our adult kids!

Perfect location in Oaxaca near everything, but on a quiet street.

Four of us just spent two weeks in Lili’s lovely home. The house was very quiet and comfortable, yet an easy walk to Santa Domingo and the zocalo. There is a market a block away, coffee around the corner, and plenty of places to eat. The rooms are very comfortable, each with its own bathroom. Every morning and evening we spent on the lovely deck. Lili was the perfect host, not interfering, but always super responsive and helpful when needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay in Lili's home was perfect in every way. The house is gorgeous and well furnished. It is close to the center of Oaxaca and close to lots of great restaurants. It is very quiet and peaceful. There is no traffic noise or noise from barking dogs at night. The only "noise" was the sweet sound of birds singing outside in the early morning. I would highly recommend this home. I would go back in a heartbeat.

We can't say enough great things about this home. The location is excellent- adjacent to two great parks and several pedestrian plazas, it felt like a community within the city. Just two blocks away, the streets are lively with all the restaurants, street food vendors, mercados, museums and galleries you could hope to experience, but on this block, peaceful and friendly neighbors. The home is spacious, updated, and beautifully decorated. The beds are incredibly comfortable and firm. Finally, Lili was a wonderful host- responsive and helpful. She gave us great recommendations, particularly to Emmanuel, the most excellent dog walker/sitter which made it so easy for us to get out on tours. Thanks Lili, for everything!

This lovely home exceeded our expectations. It's full of tasteful Oaxacan art. There are lovely places to sit, including rooftop patios. Five of us spent lots of time together in the kitchen and living room, but also found places to be alone. We were a household of cooks and the kitchen was sufficiently equipped for 5-6. Lili was cheerfully responsive to our needs.

Absolutely love this house! The decor is fantastic and the layout of the house is warm and inviting. The rooftop porch is great at night and we watched some parades from up there. We had a spectacular stay in Oaxaca. The house has an unbeatable location. It is a 5-minute walk to the Church of Santo Domingo and the main restaurants. The Zócalo and Mercado 20 de Noviembre are about 15 minutes away. Despite being in the center, it is a very quiet and safe area. The house is beautiful. Every space meticulously curated. The decor is very beautiful. It has a super enjoyable terrace full of beautiful little plants. The three bedrooms are very comfortable, each with its own bathroom, and there is also an extra half bathroom. It has a full kitchen that we hardly used because we always ate out. Best of all, walking everywhere. Nothing is far away. Communication with Lili was very good. He answered all our questions. I would definitely stay here again whenever I come back to Oaxaca.

Casa Heredad was exactly what we had hoped and was exactly as it had been described and reviewed. The beds were very comfortable, the Patios were delightful and having the washing machine to wash clothes was great, but bring some soap. Also, one of the highlights was the breakfast we ordered ahead, made by Nora and her nephew Ruben, who were so friendly and knowledgeable about Oaxaca. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and fresh, truly exactly what we had hoped for. THe location couldn’t be better. Walkable to everywhere we wanted to go, and we felt very safe. We parked our rental car on the street every day and night. We will be back and would definitely choose Casa Heredad as our first choice stay.

What an absolutely wonderful house. Spacious, beautifully decorated, comfortable beds and great bathrooms. With the courtyard and the two terraces it is a total oasis in Oaxaca. Beautiful home perfectly situated in central Oaxaca but in a peaceful area north of the more heavily trafficked areas. Some outside noise during the day but quiet at night. Three comfortable bedrooms all with en-suite bathrooms. A small but pretty courtyard and also a terrace upstairs. Well equipped kitchen and a smart TV with Netflix and Amazon Prime. We booked the breakfast for three mornings and had incredible meals and learned about Oaxaca cuisine! Lili is a great host, meeting us at check in and responding immediately to all messages. Would definitely book with her again!!

This is definitely a five star rental and five star host. The home is ideally located and so thoughtfully appointed. Even with a bit of a language barrier, it was easy to communicate with Lili via the app and she was so responsive to our every need. Very nice house and super well located

Wow, what a charming and fabulous place to stay. We were 2 couples and 1 single and we each had our own bathroom, comfortable beds and linens and spaces overlooking the courtyard or terrace. There wasn't a "lesser" bedroom in the house. The kitchen was well equipped and the two terraces had wonderful views for morning coffee. The location for walk-ability to shops, restaurants and all the different cultural squares was perfect. The house is a bit more expensive than some alternatives but now that we have stayed there we know the value of this gem of a home. In all our journeys this is one of our favorite homes and towns. What an amazing first stay in Oaxaca City! Lili's house is so beautiful and the location cannot be beaten. We enjoyed walking down the cobblestone streets to go grab a coffee at Blason or shop at Aripo. And after a long day exploring the region, it was so nice to be able to relax on the lovely terrace. We really enjoyed our stay and Lili is a great host, we will definitely come back.

This place is so nice that other tourists stopped by to take a quick photo of its facade. It has an amazing relaxing atmosphere that I can’t put into words. The outdoor spaces are incredible, we even did a short workout on the roof surrounded by the city and mountains. Truly an amazing experience. Coming from a well traveled person.

This was my first visit to Oaxaca and was fortunate enough to stay in this beautiful home. Stylish, comfortable, spacious, super clean, with a well stocked kitchen and an amazing rooftop patio. The location is perfect with easy walks to restaurants and sights. Very quiet at night. The host, Lili, is gracious and helpful. When I return to Oaxaca this is the only place I will stay.

What a beautiful home with an amazing location in El Centro, convenient to so much! We were able to walk to the churches, the mercados, amazing restaurants. The house provided plenty of room for our family of 5 (3 kids ages 9-14). The home is so well decorated with fabrics, art and pottery from Oaxaca. Lili met us on our arrival and gave us a tour. She provides bottled water. We were easily able to visit Monte Alban and the Central Valleys on private day tours. We had a great time!

Casa Fibonacci is simply lovely. It is quaint, elegant, safe, clean and decorated in true Oaxacan colors and furnishings. We were here for a wedding for 4 days. We opted for a home vs. a hotel for comfort, space and relaxation. Not only did this home exceed our expectations, the photos do not do it justice at all. There is a quaint office loft upstairs and glass walls that look into the wash room area. The patio deck is 2 levels and conveys tranquility and serenity. There were only 4 of us for this stay however the casa is large enough to sleep 8 comfortably. I was obsessed with the hammock and really enjoyed my zen time rocking away in it. This home is in the historic core and close to City Centre, the Cathedral and all of shopping, bazaars and amazing dining ( too many to name) You must make reservations and do the chefs tasting at Criiollo. OMG one of the best dining experiences I have ever had! Los Danzantes and many many more. We did a lot of walking. Lili is wonderful and so responsive. Our flights were delayed 6 hours departing and she happily allowed us to check out later ( we ended up doing more exploring and only needed an extra hour ) I have stayed at many Airbnb's with hosts that were less than friendly. We are lucky to have Lili. The wedding was beautiful and the walk to Cathedral Santa Domingo in 4" inch heels and gown was tolerable :) We loved this city and enjoyed our time here immensely. Lilli’s place is a gem in Oaxaca Centro and the photos do not do it justice! It’s the type of place you want to keep a secret because it‘s that incredible. Why is it so incredible you ask? - the location could not be better and is situated on a famous street 5-10 minute walk from everything. - the house is ascetically pleasing from every angle and sizable! The exterior is perfectly painted in bright colors, the interior is decorated impeccably with bright textiles, plants, and everything you need for a comfortable stay. - the WiFi is fast and reliable! We ran multiple simultaneous video calls during our entire stay and never ran into a problem. - the house has a patio/roof deck that is so lovely with a gorgeous view of the mountains and a table to sit and drink morning coffee or work. - the kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal at home and provides giant jugs of water for your stay. - Lilli the host is so kind and accommodating! Only 2 bedrooms have AC and on one hot night she even brought a fan over for the 3rd bedroom. We without a doubt will be back!

Don't hesitate to book. Lili's Airbnb is everything and more. From the beautiful interior design and the thoughtful touches (providing water and snacks!) to the amazing location, this airbnb is perfect for a group of friends looking to explore Oaxaca. We were working remotely here and the internet speed and amount of space to work was ideal. Lili's airbnb is also next to a bakery owned by a lovely family. You won't regret booking this place! Ideal place to get to know Oaxaca, in the center, very comfortable and all new. The host is very helpful and everything is in pristine condition. Definitely a good idea to choose this home to get to know the town and surroundings.

The stay at "La Heredad" was our most memorable AirBnB stays to date. From the excellent communications with Lili, to her meeting us at the airport and then personally taking us to her elegant home...no details were left to chance. "La Heredad" is a 5-minute walk to Mercado Sanchez Pascuas and equidistant to several excellent restaurants; Oaxaca's Zocalo is an easy, scenic, 20-minute walk. Overall, "La Heredad's " central location, proximity to restaurants and shopping, relaxed--yet exquisite--ambiance make this an ideal property for a stay in Oaxaca.

The best location, the house is very comfortable and has more than necessary. Good communication with Lili. I recommend it.
