Excellent experience in an area I was not familiar with. Turned out to be a great trip and great stay. Orchid Bay is only 6 miles from town and with the ferry, it’s a great experience to an older time. One that will end once the bridge is complete. A/C is cold and that was perfect! Thank you!

Really enjoyed our time there. Some of the amenities, such as dishes and towels weren’t stocked for 6 of us, so hopefully that will be resolved. It’s probably become that way as the resort staff clean, and probably aren’t as attentive to items missing. Dishwasher didn’t work well or the blender, but not that big of deal. Really enjoyed the screened porch, and the casita stayed nice and cool with the A/C, despite the heat wave.

Good spot to stay. We have stayed in Orchid Bay before in a similar place. This house showed a hammock in the photos, but we did not find one hanging when we arrived. we found the hammock in the closet, tied in a trash bag when we were checking out. One other thing to note: The water was said to be reverse osmosis, but it tastes like salt water. I'd reccomend bringing fresh dr8nking water. Overall, the place is well valued by US standards. By local economy standards, it is quite expensive. We would stay again in the future.

Orchid bay is hard to get to from Belize city but it’s worth it when you get there!
