The house is much more beautiful than in the photos, we had an amazing time, my children, my husband and I burned chocolates in the campfire that they very kindly light for you at the time you request it. It's a magical place, I highly recommend it. Mr. Porfirio, who is the co-host, welcomes you and makes you feel at home.

The Gran Casa de Piedra is an excellent option to stay in San Cristobal, it exceeded all our expectations in terms of comfort, service and cleanliness. Spectacular house on the outskirts of San Cris. Ideal for large groups and for spending time with the family without going out.

This house is even better than the pictures make it out to be! The house is huge and well furnished and the space is impressive. It was spotless and the cleaning staff did an excellent job daily. Alfonso helped us with anything we could ask for, including helping us build a roaring fire. The one downside to this house is that is isn't walking distance to the city center, but Alfonso helped call us cabs whenever we needed.

The Casa de Piedra de Verónica is much more attractive than in the photos, the stay here was much more than pleasant, the decor is very tasteful and the style is very cozy and homely, all the areas are comfortable to live with family or friends and the location is good, without a doubt it is the best place I have ever stayed on Airbnb and I would do it again. If you come with family or friends, this place is perfect to make your stay in San Cristóbal something memorable. The service from the staff was very good too and we didn't need anything. Stunning home! It will not disappoint. Attention to detail!

The house is SOOO beautiful. Even though we had seen all of the pictures and they are very accurate, we were amazed when we got there and toured the house. Really spacious, large bedrooms each with their own bathroom, so many details in its decorations. We spent a week around Christmas and were very pleasantly surprised that it was so beautifully decorated for the season, with a lovely Christmas tree with ethnic decorations, a gorgeous fireplace with hanging stockings, poinsettias all around the house, a large decorative snowman, etc. We enjoyed all areas, including a fire pit in the gorgeous gardens (which seem to blend in with the forest) where we prepared s'mores. Even though we had some hot water and wifi issues, the staff made its best effort to fix them promptly. It's about a 10-min drive to downtown but it was easy to get a cab (thanks to Porfirio) and they were very inexpensive. Esperanza came every morning to cleanup the kitchen and rooms. Very equipped kitchen, with a coffee machine we wanted to take home with us. No problem cooking our Christmas Eve dinner for 15 there. Amazing stay!

The house is much better than what you see in the photos! It's amazing, all the rooms are super comfortable! They treat you super well!!! It is very cozy, clean, totally recommended!!! We fell in love with the house!!! We were greeted with typical rolls and coffee!! The house was clean all the time! They explained everything to us and welcomed us very kindly! My family and I have really enjoyed our accommodation. The house is very large and the rooms have the necessary amenities. The beds are very comfortable, the cleanliness is very good and the gardens are very well cared for. The location of the house makes it possible to have a pleasant rest and with a car you will have no problem moving anywhere. We thank the hosts of the house who were very friendly and attentive during our stay.

To all travelers, it is really a fabulous property, invaluable the experience you can achieve, it is a very spacious property in every sense of the word, quite comfortable, with very well thought and created spaces. If you have a vehicle, it is not an impediment to stay!! It has 4 delicious king size bedrooms where the rest is formidable... and a chalet so beautiful and wonderful that if you lack space with that you complement to bring even cousins and nephews, etc. If you don't have a vehicle, don't be afraid, you can take a TAXI from downtown to the place and it costs around $50 pesos. Just make sure that when you want to go out at night and in the early morning, you have the contact of a taxi base so that they can go for you, because the place is very quiet and on the outskirts, but IT'S TOTALLY WORTH IT... if you're reading this review, and you're undecided, I can confirm that it's the option!! Cheer up!! Happy stay!!

It rarely happens, but in this house it was achieved. The reality exceeded the expectations I had of the place when I saw the photos on the AirBnb page. I consider this property as something out of the ordinary, the bed I slept in was exquisite, the whites, the TV with Sky, the bathroom, etc. We were enjoying this house 13 people and we barely felt at the property so it marks a very good architectural space in which to live together during a deserved vacation in San Cristobal de las Casas. Pilo, an excellent host, the two cleaning ladies are a delight. We greatly enjoyed this house.
