The home was great, the location was awesome. Easy to cook in, we used the BBQ as well. All beds were comfy and the space was very clean.

We had a great stay at this Airbnb. Beautiful views of ocean and greenery. Feels very private. House was clean and modern. Pool was very clean and perfect water temperature. Host was very responsive when we reached out for accidentally locking our safe without putting in our password.

Our family had an amazing stay! The location is very central to nearby beaches, restaurants and excursions (less than 10 min from Jaco) but it’s also peaceful as it’s up a steep hill with amazing jungle and water views. The hosts were great and they offered a concierge service which we used to book transit and excursions. I want to recommend to friends but I’m worried they will book it on a week when we want to come back :) Highly recommend for those with young families looking for a very large space, tranquility, infinity pool, and easy access to the best of Costa Rica.

A disappointing stay and poor value for money (we have stayed in similarly priced properties nearby that were immaculate, with usable air con, laundry service, and a housekeeper - none of which available here to the same standard). The air con is locked - framed as eco-friendly, yet there is no recycling provision anywhere, which reads more as a cost-saving decision by the owners. In larger rooms it simply couldn't cool adequately, and several control panels weren't lit, making adjustments impossible. Hand towels were missing and the light-up mirror in the upstairs bathroom didn't work. The listing makes no mention of the active construction site directly below - builders started at 6AM, including weekends, with no privacy from the site. The neighbouring property is used as a party house, with music audible all day. Despite following the access instructions, the approach scraped the underside of our car. Attractive in photos, but very much style over substance. We would not return.

We are always available during a stay and provided assistance, including late-night support and adjustments to the thermostat settings beyond the standard range outlined in the listing to enhance comfort. We respond promptly to any requests or issues brought to our attention. Our smart cooling system combines guest-controlled settings via touchscreen devices with automated adjustments that operate within defined limits to maintain consistent comfort and efficiency, and large windows throughout the home create an indoor/outdoor living experience, with the master bedroom being more exposed to direct sun during warmer parts of the day. All bedrooms are equipped with blackout rolling shades that help reduce light and heat for added comfort, and ceiling fans are installed throughout the home to support airflow. We provide a full set of bath, hand, makeup, and pool towels per guest, as well as an on-site washer and dryer with detergent. Optional housekeeping services, as outlined in the listing and pre-arrival communication, can be arranged at any time upon request for an additional fee, as many guests prefer privacy during shorter stays. A small residential construction project in the neighborhood started recently. It is not directly adjacent to the property, and appears to be short-term, though it remains outside of our control. As a hillside property, the driveway approach can feel unfamiliar at first, and we provide clear guidance to ensure a smooth and easy arrival. We appreciate your feedback and will continue striving to offer the best possible experience.

We had a great time with friends at Casa Claida! The time spent by the infinity pool, with the magnificent ocean view, was magical. The location offers the best of both worlds: the property is located in a quiet area, a short walk from the beach and a few restaurants, while being only a few minutes drive from the dynamic city of Jacó. The hosts were very responsive and responded quickly to our messages, both before our arrival and during our stay. We would definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a memorable stay in Costa Rica!

Beautiful home in Jaco area. House was clean and exactly as described/pictured. The hosts even provided a fresh fruit basket and coffee which was a very nice surprise. Great restaurants nearby. We enjoy our stay there and would recommend it.

Davy’s house, inside and out, is magnificent, with clearly a lot of thought put into every aspect of the design. It is practical, spacious, beautifully equipped and comfortable. The views to the forest and ocean are gorgeous. Davy provided clear instructions for us to check ourselves in and out, and was responsive to every question. The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived, and there was a beautiful bowl of fruit waiting for us.

Davy and Claire’s place was wonderful. We came here before our wedding with a group of friends and the hosts went above and beyond to make it special for us. We took advantage of the private chef who was amazing definitely recommend chef Makko! We also were able to be set up with an excursion through the concierge. The house itself has a beautiful view of the ocean and the plunge pool was great. Only thing I’d like to mention for guests renting is that the road to get up to the property/driveway is very steep so ensure you have a 4wd and pay close attention to pulling into the driveway. Amazing stay overall!

Thank you as well for mentioning the driveway — the road is fully paved but steep/inclined, and we do generally recommend a 4WD for driving in Costa Rica. For a smooth access, it’s important to use the flatter part of the entry as explained in our arrival guidance (and no worries — no guest has ever broken a car getting up there 😊).

We had an incredible stay in Playa Hermosa! The home offered stunning ocean views, and we spent hours relaxing by the beautiful pool. We loved that the location was peaceful and tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy areas, yet still close enough to enjoy everything we wanted to do. Our host Davy and concierge Darlin were fantastic—always quick to respond and extremely helpful. We also loved having the chef cook for us two nights; the meals were delicious and made our stay feel extra relaxing. The beach was just steps away, and we enjoyed fabulous meals at the nearby restaurants within walking distance. Our waterfall tour and the Tortuga Island tour were unforgettable highlights!
