5BR Villa in Puerto Vallarta

Excellent, 1 month ago

The house was absolutely beautiful! The views and surrounding nature were amazing, and everything was very clean and well maintained. Be prepared to get a little exercise with the stairs 😅, but it is definitely worth it! I would 100% recommend this place. The property managers were always responsive and answered our questions quickly, which we really appreciated. We truly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful home! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Casa Nosara was a wonderful place for us to stay for 9 nights in Sayulita. We had a group of 14 (5 adults and 9 teenagers) there was plenty of room for all of us and it was nice having separate private areas. The main outdoor living area is amazing and it feels like you are living in the jungle. It is definitely a very steep hill to get up and down from the place but the all wheel drive side by sides were perfect. There are 88 stairs from the bottom (where you park the side by sides) to the main living area at the top (yes we counted), so if anyone in the group has mobility issues this is not the house for you. Our only watch out would be to listen very carefully during the check-in tour. Some of our group missed the part about the handle on the faucet for the main kitchen needs to be "down" for filtered water which resulted in some GI issues, at least that is what we think caused it. Luckily Zofran is over the counter in Mexico so we stocked up. Overall it is a fabulous house!

I stayed here for my bachelorette party of 9 girls. We had plenty of space and rented the 4x4s. In my opinion the home is not very walkable - 4x4 golf carts are necessary as the hills are no joke! You COULD walk but it was be quite a hike. The place was great, all amenities you need, filtered water, juicer, coffee maker ect. The place is beautiful and we thought was well worth the cost. The only thing to keep in mind as since this is an out door living area you will get some critters but the hosts keep the place clean. We had a little possum friend who would visit in the rafters but again you are in the jungle and this is their home after all. All that said we had a fabulous stay and would recommend to those looking for a unique stay with an amazing view in a peaceful area.

This is an incredible AirBnb. It's comfortable, clean, and the views are absolutely incredible. I'm still dreaming about sipping my morning coffee on the deck weeks after the vacation. Jason + team were extremely communicative & flexible hosts. The biggest drawback of this Airbnb is location. The hill to get into town is much steeper than I realized. We rented 4x4s so were able to take those but even that felt a bit scary at times. It was also difficult to call shuttles to the house as the hill at the entrance was so steep. I also didn't realize how open the living room + kitchen were when I initially booked -- this lent itself nicely to an indoors / outdoors vibe but we did need to be extra cautious about locking up the pantry and taking out trash due to jungle critters. Overall, I still think it's an incredible value for what you're getting & truly the view cannot be beat. It was an awesome trip and I'm so grateful to Jason + team for being such wonderful hosts.

Selfishly, I want to rate this one star so I can keep this gem to myself. However, Casa Nosara is too incredible of a place to not share. The pictures do not give the beauty of this house the credit it deserves. The entire team was proactive, kind, and helpful both before and throughout our stay. The hill and steps cannot be understated though! Definitely book gas powered carts unless you want to do some serious hiking! Will be coming back here anytime we stay in Sayulita

Absolutely stunning house/houses with picture-perfect views. This place (which is really more like 4 different casitas on 4 levels of the hillside) is great for a group of traveling friends with plenty of room for people to spread out and have their own spaces. In the bustling town of Sayulita, this home tucked up and away on the hill is a peaceful, quiet retreat. The hill is short but steep and with the house set a little walk from town, it’s not the MOST easily walkable spot in Sayulita but it’s totally doable and makes for a lovely walk along the beach… and a great way to get your steps in on vacation! The hosts are super responsive and so helpful.

Let’s get one thing straight, the place is absolutely beautiful, comfortable, peaceful with all the amenities you could want. It really truly looks and feels like the pictures and description. The management staff were a delight. They were very responsive, communicative and helped us find what we needed from laundry service to food delivery. That’s important because the journey to the place is understated. It’s not conducive to walking to town, especially at night. You must rent a car (with enough power to climb a steep hill). There are plenty of places to park In town. A golf cart won’t work due to power but a quad or ATV will. This is the only drawback as we were only a group of 6 and it took our vehicle everything it had to get into and back from town. I highly recommend Casa Nosara with that Caveat.

First of all, the view is absolutely stunning, and David and his team were so responsive and helpful. You truly feel immersed in the natural surroundings, and it was a wonderful space for hosting a retreat for 8 women. A few things I would have loved to understand ahead of time: The twin beds in the bedrooms are on the shorter side. Two women under 5’5” mentioned that their feet were hanging off. The house is fully open, which is part of what makes it so beautiful, but it also means wildlife (coatis — raccoon-like animals) do come into the house at night. I was awoken by them multiple times, and they go on the yoga mats, which made it a bit challenging to keep things feeling clean. Having a mop available would have been helpful to freshen the floors in the mornings. It’s hard to convey just how steep the hill is leading up to the house. While we did get used to it, it’s a full workout. Overall, it’s a beautiful and special and magical place just a few helpful things to know in advance

Beautiful house, comfortable for the number of people we were, 11 adults, 2 children and a baby. Clean, comfortable rooms to rest. The guys who attended us were super friendly, they gave us precise and clear instructions. Always attentive to any questions you may have. Beautiful view. Overall a place I would 100% recommend.

Such an incredible stay! The Airbnb is beautiful, clean. The most incredible sunsets. And the views are breathtaking from every room (except for one). The whole Casa Nosara team was so helpful and responsive throughout our stay. They provided us with lots of information and recommendations as well. The location is slightly out of town which makes it quieter and more peaceful. And just a short golf cart ride away to all the action! Our group of 13 girls loved it! The only sort of downside is the steep hill to both entrances. It’s definitely walkable if you’re up for a burn, however it complicates things when renting golf carts (only specific golf carts or ATVs are powerful enough to make it up the hill) and booking taxis (most taxis will not drive up to the top of the hill due to how steep it is). As long as you prepare accordingly, it’s the perfect place!

Wow. This place is incredible. A group of 12 friends (late twenties/early 30s) stayed here and we all loved it. It truly felt like home. There are four levels divided by stairs and all rooms were VERY private. Plenty of space for all of us. The walk to and from Sayulita was doable for all of us but definitely worked up a sweat (we are all quite fit as well so keep that in mind). Had we stayed longer, we probably would have opted to get the 4x4 ranger rentals—casa Nosara team can help coordinate these if you wish. The hill is very steep and a good quick hike to go up and down to get into town. The team running casa Nosara was amazing and were easily reached if we needed anything. The pool right in the living space was so much fun and we definitely loved the views from every room in the house. The only problem I could see with staying at Nosara is if you had small children (some balconies don’t have great railing systems), or if you have any struggles with mobility (LOTS of stairs).

My family had an unforgettable stay at Casa Nosara in Sayulita. The architecture and ocean views were outstanding. We were a group of ten and fit comfortably with plenty of bedroom and bathroom space. The house is up a steep hill and became a point of pride for my 82 year old mom to make the climb up the hill and then up the 80 plus stairs. We also rented side by side's (atv's) for easier trips up and down to town and beach. The hill was an adventure in and of itself! Definitely recommend renting appropriate transportation. We rented through Kaliva rentals, Which I highly recommend. We enjoyed gathering all together on the top level for breakfast and watching the sun set in the evenings. The design and amenities were thoughtful and clean throughout. plenty of comfortable spots to hang out and enjoy the house in private or with others. Carlos was available at anytime to answer questions. I would recommend this home for a group of friends or family, it did not disappoint!

Our group of 11 had the best time at Jason’s home! Bloyd and Carlos from the management team were also exceptional. The house is absolutely stunning. The common living area is absolutely beautiful. It was super cool and convenient to have a the pool literally in the living room. The bedrooms are beautiful, private, and well air conditioned. Getting to the beach and town was a breeze with the golf carts we rented - highly recommend these as they made our lives so much easier in such a large group. Would not hesitate to book Casa Nosara again!

What an incredible spot. Gorgeous view of the sunset, air conditioning in the bedrooms which was absolutely necessary at the end of may. The property management company has literally everything figured out for you so please read their links! We also hired a chef to cook delicious Mexican food recommended by the management folks. The hill was steep but doable. Just made us want to pack for the whole day when leaving the house to avoid too many laps

What a magical place to stay. Each room had a spectacular view of the ocean and open balconies to hear the waves 24/7. Enough space for a large party to stay and have privacy. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything you need to create meals together to enjoy. All included amenities were spot on. If you have read reviews of this place and some mention of the hill it is quite a hill to trek up and down, it’s doable as long as you’re fit, or want to kick start your fitness goals :). Otherwise check out renting a 4x4 quad type vehicle. I would recommend this space for all.

This place was unbelievable and beyond our expectations and the photos. Jason and the crew responded to our every need and question within minutes and the recommendations for transportation to get to and from there were also super helpful. The hill is serious and I underestimated how steep it would be even though they warned us about it. A lithium golf cart is 100% necessary so make sure to factor that in because walkability is probably the only thing this place doesn’t have. We were so sad to leave and I will absolutely consider this place next time I have a large group in Sayulita ❤️

Casa Nosara is one of the most beautiful houses I’ve ever stayed in! Our group was blown away at all of the surprises around every turn and level of this property. This house has everything! Incredible ocean views from every room, a main level complete with spacious kitchen stocked with everything you can possibly need for cooking for a large group or hosting a private chef (we did both), a refreshing pool in the top level for watching the sunset or relaxing in on a warm day, the tallest and most jaw dropping palapa ceiling you’ll ever see, top of the line Sonos sound system for setting any mood, exquisite craftsmanship and attention to detail in decor throughout, and the list goes on and on! Our group had a hard time choosing which rooms to stay in as they all have the best views, cranking AC and total privacy, especially as all but 2 rooms are on their own private levels! I cannot recommend Casa Nosara highly enough for your next Sayulita stay. Look no further!

Host Response

Really appreciate the glowing words, Jeff! We are very happy that you and your guests found Casa Nosara so enjoyable, and we would love to have you back sometime. Thanks for staying with us!
