Beautiful, fully equipped apartment with a great view over 270 degrees. Extremely correct landlord who responds quickly and provides help when needed. Complex is well secured and well maintained. We had a nice time there.

John and his co-host have set a high standard for Airbnb accommodations! Every detail was considered, nothing was overlooked. The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos—immaculately clean and well maintained. We arrived late in the evening and were thrilled to find a platter of meats and cheeses waiting for us in the refrigerator, along with a bottle of sparking wine. A very thoughtful and welcoming gesture! The kitchen was fully stocked with every utensil and appliance you could possibly need, as was the bathroom, with daily essentials. Laundry detergent was also provided, making it easy to do a couple of quick loads during our stay. The views from the apartment are outstanding, and the location was perfect for us. Catching a cab was easy, and nearby restaurants and shopping were just a short walk. John provided detailed information prior to check in and responded quickly to all our questions before and during our stay. Outstanding from start to finish, we highly recommend!!

Was a top stay John responds super quickly we even stayed a little longer because we liked it so much. It was super clean and everything we needed was there! He even left a cake for our father for their birthday with a bottle of champagne 🍾 was a great stay!

John was by far the most attentive and responsive Airbnb host I've ever had. His level of hospitality was going above and beyond. He never made me feel like I was a bother . He was so caring and responsive when my son got sick and made sure he was attended to quickly. Thanks to him my son got excellent care and got better quickly. This 3 bedroom, 3 bath, corner unit was perfect for our stay. Security at building very good from doorman to check-in to pool. Views from the 14th floor spectacular. In addition, he put us in touch with Valerie from Family & Friends tour services, who organized a number of incredible activities for us. She was always available, too. For us a great end to 3 weeks of Colombia with 7 people.

Johns place was amazing! The condo was very well appointed --literally everything you can think of was there on hand! He was very responsive and even had recommendations for restaurants in the area etc. It is a beautiful condo! We are a family of 5 and we were quite comfortable with more than enough space! He event recommended a cook, Lola, and her food was easily the best food we had while in Colombia! The location is right on Bocagrande beach. That being said, Bocagrande is quite busy and lively. You can enjoy the relaxing waves very early in the am but by 9am, music is playing in the area, lots of car traffic etc. The location is great but this particular beach area is just very very busy. Otherwise, John was a wonderful host. Very detailed, very specific and made expectations of renters very clear. Had a great time overall!

The apartment is beautifully decorated and the views from the balcony are amazing. It looks exactly like the listing. John Robert added thoughtful touches to the decor and sent a cake in celebration of our group's special occasion. The building is super secure--which is great because we were a group of five, professional women in Colombia for the first time and security was important to us. The host was very communicative! Note to future renters--It's a beautiful space. You'll love it. I strongly recommend you do a walk-through as soon as you arrive, make note of anything that may be broken or not working, and send John Robert a note immediately. I know you'll be excited to start your vacation and explore the city, BUT do not forget to do the walk through! This will ensure that the host is aware of damages past guests may have caused and can address any issues he may be unaware of. It was a great stay. I would stay here again if visiting with my family or a group.

Fantastic apartment with some of the best views you’ll find. The building is great. When we were there we heard many say it’s the best building in the city. John was always very responsive and accommodating during our stay including leaving welcome gifts for us when we arrived which was a very nice touch. Location was great. Walkable to many great restaurants (especially breakfast spots) and only about a 5-10 minute taxi away from the old city. Great place to stay in cartagena

Our experience could be described as a home away from home. Everything was labeled, so it was easy to find. The kitchen had many helpful gadgets, so it helped with cooking. The view was beautiful; we were able to see the sunrise and the sunset from the corner balcony. The host was very responsive and accommodating. He also left us a delicious chocolate cake and a champagne bottle as we were celebrating my mother's 90th birthday. We enjoyed the beach, the pool, the gym. It was also a sauna, but we did not use it. As long as you were kind and cordial, as you should always be, everyone in the building was very helpful and responsive.

Staying at John’s place in Cartagena was honestly a dream. The views were stunning—every window felt like a postcard. You can walk to pretty much anywhere you want, which made exploring the city so easy. The apartment itself was spotless and super organized, and John couldn’t have been more helpful. He always got back to my messages right away. Plus, he went above and beyond with beautiful birthday decorations that made my stay extra special. I’d book with him again in a heartbeat.

This is my second time in Cartagena and my second time staying in the Morros City building and I must say John’s place was immaculate! He was very responsive and helpful in connecting me to someone to book a private boat for my birthday. He also had the place set up nicely to welcome us for my birthday weekend. Easy access to the beautiful warm sea directly opposite and we also enjoyed the superb pool. 15 minutes by Uber to the center of Cartagena ($4). We recommend it without hesitation. We enjoyed the apartment very much. It's very well furnished and comfy, the view is great. Nice pool as well. We didn't expect to have to wear a bracelet during to trip so the door keeper could identify us. Maybe safer for the building, but strangers could identify us as tourists in the street. Little bit annoying, but I guess it's standard practices in this area. We could hear a nearby discotheque from our room, but it didn't disturb our sleep that much. So we recommend this flat very much. We'd come again without hesitation

It is a truly wonderful, bright and sunny corner apartment with amazing views from all of the many windows; more than adequately furnished with everything you need for either a short term or longer term stay. We enjoyed spending time outside and relaxing. We had his housekeeper, Lola, cook dinner for us a couple of nights. She prepared excellent local specialities, and we would recommend doing that. This was my first trip to Columbia and John’s place did not disappoint. Book it! The apartment is a work of art, in an excellent location, across the street from the beach a very short walk to a bustling thoroughfare full of Restaurants, the supermarket and vendors, and a $4, 10 min uber ride to the walled city. The space is thoughtfully curated with high-end appliances, tasteful art and furniture and breathtaking views. The rules however are extremely strict to the point of micromanagement. This is a two way street. On one hand, it’s safe, John Communicated quickly, helped facilitate a private chef and other amenities and solutions. On the other, I could only use John’s people, the space is very closely monitored and even a minor make-up mark was chastised. But he worked at solutions including gifts to take the bite out of the control and make the trip great. Use Lola the chef, Sandra, the planner, and Valerie for incredibly fun excursions. They are worth the extra money,
