We stayed at Casa Camaleon with our 3 children (ages 13, 11 and 6) and my parents. The house was amazing. It's very spacious and comfortable with stunning views. Kevin coordinated several outings and did a great job with suggestions. Buenavista was a favorite for the entire group. The staff there was so accommodating. We also rode side by sides through the jungle to a remote beach, drove to Ocotal beach, walked downtown Coco and had an amazing chocolate making class in the house. We rented a car and had no problem navigating, although the roads are sometimes narrow and/or uneven. Watching and listening to the howler monkeys was a highlight as well. They came through almost daily around 5am and again arpund 6pm. Last, but not least, Juan and Maria took such good care of us. Maria made us a couple amazing lunches, including cooking a tuna our 6 year old caught on a fishing trip. We would absolutely come back!

We had a wonderful stay! The view was absolutely stunning and the location felt so peaceful and quiet. The pool was great and entertained the kids the whole time. The sunsets were unforgettable, perfect for relaxing in the evening. Highly recommend for anyone looking for the perfect getaway.

This is a beautiful place with everything you can imagine to host and cook for a large group. It had more supplies, especially for cooking, than any place I have ever stayed. We had a mixed age group with cousins and grandparents, and it was perfect for everyone. The rooms/showers/a.c. were great. Being right on the beach meant that we didn't have to all pack up if one little kid got too hot, and you could wander down for sunset without disrupting dinner. We had monkeys in the trees outside nearly every day. The communication was great with the management company, and we also spoke Spanish, so we could ask the groundskeeper, Roberto, for anything we needed. We didn't need much because Roberto was always behind the scenes helping out, including saving my laundry from a rainstorm while we were out. We appreciated the location being out of town but close enough to walk in. It is very private. Super easy for a family vacation. Highly recommend this place.

Diego's house was hands down our best Airbnb yet!! The location and view are amazing. The pool was a hit with the 6 kids we had with us. They also enjoyed searching for monkeys! The property is huge and we enjoyed walks on all the pathways. The beach was only a 5 minute walk away and many restaurants just a short drive away. Thank you to Kevin for always being available when we needed something and also thank you to Maria for always cleaning up after us! The team made our vacation the best!!

Our stay here was perfect. The entries team was so friendly and went above and beyond anything I could have imagined. The house was beautiful and the views were picturesque. I’d stay here again every time.

We stayed here for spring break with our family of 5 including 3 teenagers and we absolutely would book this place again! We are so happy that we decided to go the Airbnb route vs an all-inclusive. The villa is so beautiful and was very clean & spacious for our family and included everything we needed. We felt very safe in the gated community. The pool, deck & view were just amazing and we could not get enough of it. Star Villas concierge service was amazing both before and during the trip. Sandy was so helpful in making restaurant & excursion recommendations and reservations and also in answering all of our general questions before the trip. Guillermo & Adriana were extremely responsive during our stay to any additional questions or needs we had. Book the massages at the villa! We ordered take out twice from Verde Salvia which was also great. Last but not least, the week would not have been nearly as wonderful without our driver, Jose Gerardo. We are so thankful we stayed here!

Truly amazing Airbnb and top notch staff! Maria prepared a wonderful breakfast for us every day and took excellent care of us doing laundry, dishes, making beds and overall making our vacation a true vacation! Kevin and the Star Villas team were super responsive to all our questions and our driver, Ernesto, was a delight. Our kids ranged in age from 2 to nearly 15 and the pool was optimal for all ages. The littlest one graduated from the big wading area to jumping into the big pool area by the end of the week. The views of the Pacific from the minute we woke until the gorgeous sunset each night were stunning. Monkeys in the trees and the park like setting of the property made for fun times. The mango trees were loaded and we enjoyed fresh mangoes every morning. All in all, this Airbnb was a 10 out of 10 for our family!!

Great location on the beach. Quick walk to many great restaurants, and great waves for boogy-boarding in the am and pm. Very nice having the staff make your breakfast and clean your rooms every day, excellent service and always very clean! Felt very safe, and we even had 10-12 Howler Monkeys in the trees in our yard one late afternoon. Loved the place!

We recently stayed 3 nights in Diego's home in Playas del Coco, and it was the perfect place for our family of 11. It's a truly unique home that gives you privacy, immediate access to a quiet end of beautiful Coco Beach, is a reasonable walk to downtown, has a great private pool with kid friendly pool toys, and has plenty of room for a larger group to share. The onsite groundskeeper Roberto was very helpful and proactively brought us kids toys for the pool or a fishing pole for the ocean. He was very friendly and was there to help whenever called on. His two small dogs were fun and very kid friendly. It should be noted he doesn't speak English, so be prepared to use a translation app if you don't speak Spanish. Eva the housekeeper (also doesn't speak English) came each day and would cook breakfast during our stay. (It's your choice if you buy supplies and want an in-home breakfast) Also, Sandra, Adriana, and Kevin were great communicating with us before and during our stay.

This was a perfect get away for our group of 10 adults. The beach house was spacious enough for us to feel comfortable without being on top of each other. A large table for gathering and sharing meals. Plenty of shaded areas if you don’t want to be in the sun all day, and a nice pool to relax in if you do. Great location! A short walk from the property to the beach, where we walked in the mornings and enjoyed beautiful sunsets at night. The house has a fully equipped kitchen if you choose to cook, or you can take a leisurely stroll into town along the beach for some food and entertainment. Ava cooked breakfast in the mornings and made sure we had clean towels and emptied the trash everyday. Roberto and the pups live on the site and take care of property,pool and any other issues that would come up.

We stayed here in Costa Rica as a family of five and had a truly wonderful experience. It was easily one of the best Airbnb stays we’ve had in over a decade. The villa was beautiful, spotless, and very comfortable, and the service team was exceptional , they made everything feel effortless, from arranging our private airport transfer and having our rental car delivered to the villa to making sure our groceries were there when we arrived.
