Excellent location. Fantastic for my kids and little pup. Peaceful and very walkable location, thoughtful with beach chairs, plenty of towels and even fully stocked with essentials for cooking as well as ice which is awesome.

Wonderful spacious home right next to beach, restaurants, a d local shops. Nice view of ocean from top balcony. Would recommend and stay again. Home was clean as well.

Great place to stay in a really good location.

Wow! This is the 2nd year we have come back and stayed with Aaron. The staff here is great, views are amazing, nothing but great things to say. The accommodations are really comfortable and the vibes are wonderful. We love this place. 5 -10 minute to the bars and restaurants we love. Check out Los Muertos beach, about a 10-15 minute walk (south, I think) of town. You walk through a cool old cemetery to get there.

One of our FAVORITE places we have stayed! It’s the perfect location, right off the beach and very easy to walk to town. Casa Sofia was great for our family, plenty of space and very, very clean! Our family usually does not go back to the same place, but we will definitely be back! If this place is open, BOOK IT!!!

Casa Sofia is amazing. Mexican architecture, everything you need for your stay and in the kitchen. The three spacious, comfortable bedrooms with daily housekeeping. A spectacular terrace, with a front view of the ocean that we enjoyed very much. Excellent staff and very attentive to what we needed. We loved it, we'll definitely be back. Thank you Aaron!

We’ve stayed at Aaron’s place way before AirBnB, and every time has been a blast. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the ocean, all in a super comfortable and well-maintained place. If you ever find yourself in Sayulita, definitely book Aaron’s place!

Wow! Already booked next year. Views are more stunning in person than in the photos and walkable to at least 15 really great restaurants. Aaron was wonderful and a great communicator.

Stunningly beautiful property

Beautiful place and great location - felt like staying at a five star hotel. Aaron had some great recommendations - restaurants, car service, private massage at the house, which we took and all were excellent. Looking forward to staying again.

Case Sofia is a masterpiece. The hunger in Sayulita to taste every bit of life inspires me. I will be back. I slept to the sound of crashing waves. In perfect proximity to town yet private.

We had an amazing week at Casa Higuara! The view is stunningly beautiful and the house was very comfortable. It was a great week being lulled to sleep by the waves. The walk to the beach was lovely, down a little path on the compound. It is fairly steep so not so good if you have mobility issues. We were quite busy with a wedding while we were there so did not have the opportunity to use the pool which looked so peaceful. Aaron was a great host, super responsive! I would highly recommend any of the units he has to offer and hope to come back again someday.

I won't stay anywhere else in Sayulita. Aaron was easily to communicate with. His house is beautiful with great views of the beach and a 2 minute walk down to it. It was well secured and I never once felt concerned about safety. Wifi and A/C worked fantastically and everything so spotlessly clean. Two bedrooms on the bottom floor and one on the top, each with its own very nice bathrooms. I could have easily spent my whole trip enjoying this wonderful place but there's just so much to do in Sayulita. Perfect for couples getaway or for groups of friends. Highly recommend!

This is a really beautiful house and a killer location. Go out the front gate, and you are a short (2 block?) walk down the hill to the Zocalo and lots of great restaurants. Go out the back gate, and you are literally right across the street from the beach. Definitely recommend and would love to come back soon!

The place was perfect for our group trip. We had 3 couples and the 3 bedrooms with 3 bathrooms were great. The location is steps from the beach and steps from town. The view from both decks is beautiful. It was everything we needed and wanted.

Our stay at Casa Sofia was just what we needed. It met all our expectations from spacious, clean, looked as pics did. The ocean view was my favorite part waking up to. It is walkable however we rented a golf cart making it easier to navigate as we had our 2 kids. Esmeralda was amazing. She was most attentive and hooked us up with tours we wanted, restaurant recommendations, chauffeur service and always being available as our point of contact for anything we needed. The hospitality of the staff, the locals was so warming and genuine. I wish I didn't have to leave. Aside from it being very hot in September"which is out of anyones control ", I wouldn't change a thing. Will definitely return

The place is nice, the description is just like what they offer you, the only thing to consider are the stairs to go up or down and with any problems with a knee or elderly people it becomes difficult, the pool has a lot of chlorine and in some spaces there is a lack of lighting at night when you come from the beach very small pieces not in all the stairs, leaving that aside you have a large parking lot, Esmeralda is very attentive, everything is very clean, the place is cozy and very nice going out to the beach you have a good food restaurant, the beach is very comfortable and there are activities such as surfing classes in the mornings

Casa Sophia is a beautiful house with fabulous views set on a hillside overlooking Sayulita bay. Can walk down a pathway to the beach in a minute or two.

Having stayed in countless rentals in Sayulita and around the world it is safe to say that this is the highest evolution of the options. Perfect execution of a great property. I would be hard pressed to think of a way to improve on Casa Sophie. Perfect location, clean, safe, easy, and beautiful. Very fair pricing for the high quality of the unit. I have zero reservations in recommending this place to anyone.

Casa Sofia was very spacious, and the location was right on. Only a 5-minute walk to downtown to countless restaurants, bars and shops. And just a 5-minute walk down the hill thru the property to the beach. The unit had both beach chairs and a beach umbrella for use on the beach, which we took advantage. Although not necessary, we did rent a golf cart for 3 days, so that we could explore the rest of the town, and hit some of the shops, restaurants, bars and beaches that were located just outside of the downtown area. We would definitely come back again. The only item that I would like to see is a TV/satellite in the living room, as the only TV was located in one of the bedrooms and it only played DVD's (no local or international stations).

We loved Aaron's place because it was quiet yet close to the beach and town. We could easily walk anywhere with no need for a car or golf cart. Beautiful sunset evenings from the very large and private deck of our house. Went Whale watching from our beach on a small private boat and saw whales breaching....amazing!!! Walking into town for dinner and then hanging out was great. A busy town with something for everyone. I would highly recommend Aaron's place..Perfect location.

Beautiful spot with direct pathways to both town and beach. We were there between Christmas and New Years so there were a few nights we could hear bars in town, but easily fixed with a white noise machine. Esmerelda was very responsive, kind, and helpful. Knives could use a sharpening, but otherwise very functional kitchen. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you Aaron and Esmerelda!

Wonderful location and amazing views

Our family of seven really enjoyed Casa Sofia in Sayulita. The property was beautifully maintained. The rooms were comfortable. And the pool was so refreshing. The path down to the beach was convenient as well.

I can’t say enough good things about our stay at Casa Sophia. The space is large and gorgeous. It was lovely to stay at a place so comfortable while still having authentic Mexican style throughout. The location was also so much better than we realized when we booked it. The property’s back staircase takes you right to a quieter end of the beach. We also enjoyed a lovely breeze at all times and rarely needed the AC.

Amazing location but far enough from town to be relatively quiet, beautiful space, great views. The pool was wonderful and beds were very comfortable. Perfect for our group of 6. The two bathrooms on the bottom floor are separated from the rooms by a short door only, just something to be aware of.

Casa Sofia is STUNNINGLY beautiful! You will not regret your decision staying here... The house is gorgeous- Every detail!... Those ceilings blew my mind! The beds were very comfortable... Location is perfect! We loved how easy it was to get down to the beach down our own private path.... There are hammocks you can use and we had a magical experience watching the lightning and fireflies at night! What a beautiful surprise! Another huge plus was the use of the beach chairs (with built in cooler pouches, and beach umbrella! We hope we will be able to come back and stay here again! Thank you!

Very nice place with an excellent location! About 2 blocks from the main street. You could find restaurants, pubs, farmacy and little grocery stores near from the house. Highly recomended!

Great place to stay!!

Casa Sofia was absolutely perfect for our group of 6. The views from the top floor terrace are unmatched and the location is ideal because you are a 3 minute walk to the center of town, but far enough on the hill to have a view and a quiet night's rest. Aaron and his staff were very hospitable and responsive and we felt very safe staying in this home as a group of women. Also, the 6 of us worked remotely from the house for a few days and the Wifi signal was strong enough for us to be on video calls. Can't say enough great things about this Airbnb - we will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing and more beautiful in person than in the pictures. The view is breathtaking and you can hear the ocean from every room. Perfect location, walkable to everything, so you really don’t need a car. We can’t wait to go back.

This was our second time staying at Casa Sofia and the only thing that could have made it a better experience would have been to extend our trip indefinitely! No picture can accurately portray how incredible this house and experience is. We went surfing every day (the Sayulita break is only a 5 minute walk down a lovely paved jungle path) and very much enjoyed the retreat back to the house to cook and unwind. Esmerelda is fabulous and is very helpful in finding rides or activities. She is also a trained massage therapist and our friend who booked a massage with her said it was great! The folks who own, manage and maintain the property were taking COVID precautions seriously and they were careful to sanitize the facilities and homes daily. I can't recommend this stay enough! We can't wait to come back next year :)

We absolutely enjoyed our time here!! If we had any problems, Aaron was very quick to respond and help out. I hope to come back in the future. The beds were very comfortable with the perfect comfort of pillows and the softest blankets. We loved the decor and the living room and the doors that opened up to the ocean view!

This place was stunning. Beautiful decor, colors, views (breathtaking!). Comfortable furnishings, bed. Close to the action and the beach. The support staff was friendly and very accommodating. This was a fantastic place to stay, and we look forward to going back!

Great Place

Casa Sofia is a great place for a vacation. The house is very nice, practical and comfortable. But the most amazing thing are the view. Sitting on that terrace is already being on vacation. Also, the location is perfect, very close to the village and a few meters from the beach. The house is well equipped (even with towels, beach chairs and umbrella) and the Mexican style decor is very nice. A place to return to without hesitation!

Casa Sofia was amazing, dare I say even nicer than the photos. The staff were outstanding, cleaning our house daily. Martin was the nicest man ever and was very helpful. The house was beautiful, close to the beach and to town. There are hills going up to the place so if you have mobility issues you might want to rent a golf cart. There is access to the beach from the house, which was great. Also a very nice cooking space if you are wanting to do your own cooking or get a meal catered. The pool was very nice, we had thought it was private from the photos, but was shared with the other casitas. Think there are about 6 in all. Casa Sofia was the biggest on the property. Loved our stay, highly recommend to anyone looking for a vacation rental.

A beautiful house, very nice facilities and comfortable. Its location is very central and with several options to get to the village. If any inconvenience occurs, they try to resolve it as soon as possible. You would come back without any problems!
