Very, very nice apartment in a private and secure residence: the rooms are huge and luxurious, very well equipped, with a large terrace overlooking the pool and the sea (which are a 1-minute walk away). The beach is beautiful and very well maintained (like the entire resort) and without sargassum! The garage is very nice, as is the option to rent kayaks and paddleboards. You can eat at the pool restaurant, otherwise you have to take the car. We stayed there for 2 nights because we were on a road trip, but if you're planning a relaxing stay with swimming and rest, it's ideal!

The apartment is beautiful, as shown in the pictures. It's next to the beach, super easy to get to on foot. The apartment was super clean and had everything you need for a comfortable stay. Marlene was always available for any questions we had. I would definitely come back. Thank you very much

Great place in private location

Very nice place to spend a few days relaxing with the family. Beach, swimming pool, amenities in a relaxed atmosphere. With the option of a restaurant. We really like to visit La Amada

We had a wonderful stay here. Condo was fantastic, beds comfortable and very spacious rooms. The resort was quiet with lovely staff and amazing pools which were never crowded. Although we mainly used the big beach pool. The gym was well equipped. The restaurant on site (Basils) was excellent for breakfast, lunch and dinner when we didn't want to either cater or go out.

Lovely spot, and great location within "La Amada". Clean and spacious space, with plenty of beach toys set aside for little ones to enjoy. I'd certainly recommend this to friends.

We were in Marlene's and Holger's apartment in February 2026 and enjoyed the stay very much. The apartment in the Amada Quartier is beautifully located on Playa Mujeres and offers everything you need for a quiet vacation (well-equipped kitchen, large and bright rooms and a large terrace with table and comfortable lounge). In the neighborhood itself, in addition to the swimming pool, there is a restaurant with Italian cuisine and in 5 minutes' walk a small shop in which you can get the most necessary things for everyday life. Marlene is a very kind host and always responded very quickly to all our questions. We would definitely book this great apartment again on a next stay and can highly recommend it. Thank you!

Great apartment! Lots of space, clean and all the amenities you need. Right on the beach. Perfect if you have friends or family staying at one of the three resorts next door as well. They’re all a 5-10 min walk down the beach.

We truly enjoyed our stay at the condo in the La Amada residences. There were several buildings within the condo complex, and we really appreciated that this particular one was so close to the ocean and the heated pool and restaurant. As many others noted, this particular area is somewhat secluded from other dining and commercial areas in Cancun. We had a rental car and found that useful (though we were always a bit confused as to what information we needed to give when re-entering and exiting the security check at the road before getting into the resort area). We met some other travelers in the condo complex who had found a local chef to come to their AirBnb - this seems like it would have been a fantastic option given how much fridge storage space there is and how many beautiful eating areas with great views! Having access to the long beautiful beach was fantastic, and the condo was very comfortable. We would stay again!

The location was great. Beautiful and well-furnished place. Gorgeous view of the ocean and easy access to the beach (2 minutes walking distance). Pool was nice as well. Very secure and quiet. Marlene and her co-host were very responsive.

Ideal if you want to be a little away from the city and surrounded by peace. The place is very spacious and you have everything for a comfortable stay. It's close to the pool and beach.

The accommodation is perfect, a few steps from the beach and the pool. Very spacious, comfortable, with everything for cooking. TV in both bedrooms and living room, a large balcony, and details that make it beautiful and a great choice to stay in Costa Mujeres. We traveled with children and they took advantage of the kids club and entertainment area. We recommend it and would go back. Thank you very much

Amazing spacious and premium apartment in a private estate of holiday homes. Well equipped kitchen too. Just right for my family of four, with super pools, jacuzzis and beach. Would happily return.

Loved this place! Perfect for our group of four adults and three young children. Child-friendly pool with shade and shallow areas. Beautiful beach next door. Kitchen has all the gadgets we needed. Only drawback is the distance to grocery stores and restaurants. But there is always Uber!

Beach was fabulous! The restaurant food was really good. Unit is very spacious. Overall everything was great and we had a great time!

Wonderful Spot. Best place we’ve stayed at in Mexico.

Our stay at this Airbnb was simply spectacular. The apartment is new, modern and tastefully decorated. It was fully equipped with everything we needed and its location near the beach was ideal. The 'La Amada' complex met all our expectations as a family, with exceptional service and friendly treatment by the beach club staff. In addition, Lorena, our host, was always attentive and resolved any problem effectively, showing a level of attention that goes beyond what is expected. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Had the loveliest of weeks relaxing here. The gated community is very well looked after and safe. It’s a bit like Fort Knox getting in, but that’s reassuring. Phone and internet poor in this area, but great in the apartment. The apartment is kitted out with top notch appliances (Miele). I don’t think you could be more comfortable. Lorena the manager is very efficient and smoothly and speedily sorts out any issues that may arise. The onsite restaurant serves a fairly extensive menu, closed Tuesdays. The shop sells wine beer snacks and Starbucks. The best supermarket we found was Chedraui select. There’s one warm pool with hot tubs we loved, another bigger cooler pool for the brave. The beach is very long and clean great for walking on and safe areas to swim.

We had the best experience we've had so far on Airbnb. The apartment is very nicely decorated, spacious, very clean and is super close to the beach and the beach club. We felt like we were in a 5-star hotel. The administrator Lorena made sure to make our arrival very easy. She is very organized, always attentive and helped us well in advance with recommendations, tips, etc. Highly recommended!

Great spot for a lengthy stay. Very safe area, and one of the best beaches we have seen in Cancun. the house is in an area that is a bit of a drive to restaurants and shopping, but we appreciated being in a quiet spot away from the busy hotel strip. The directions to get in to the apartmentwere a little complicated, but we figured it out.

Beautiful apartment, very clean, very comfortable and decorated with very taste. A few steps from the beach. Great common areas, with a pool, jacuzzi, bar, cafe and gym. The attention of the anfotrion sienpre was great! We'll definitely be back!

The amenities at this place are amazing. The kids loved the huge pool and beach just outside the condo. They also liked the rooftop pool at sunset. We would definitely stay here again.

This place was so nice! Quiet, and only a few steps away from the beach and pool areas. The beach is beautiful, and stays fairly shallow: about 6ft deep out at the far rope. Wake up early and watch the sunrise! Play in the sand, then cool off at the pool. The staff are friendly; you can even enjoy your meals at the swim-up bar. The apartment is de-luxe! Marble floors, balconies, air-conditioning... the list goes on. There's a washer and dryer which came-in very handy, and the kitchen is very well appointed. Highly recommend!

It is an excellent place, very quiet and comfortable place. It has. Whatever you need to rest and enjoy the beach… 100% recommended.

Holger’s condo is a high end, relaxing, clean home. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds are comfy. The ocean view/access and pool set up is fantastic. Workout room was great! We did not rent a car during our stay...just didn't want the hassle of driving in Mexico. But... taxis are incredibly expensive to and from the area. For example, a round-trip taxi for 5 of us to one of the nearest restaurants was $65...for an 8 minute ride. Note: there are NOT restaurants within walking distance of the condo. A round trip to the grocery store was $40. Krazy! Ways to combat the cost of transportation: 1. Make a stop at Costco or Sams on the way from the airport to the condo. 2. Eat at the restaurant on the property, right at the main pool. There's only one and it closes early. But the food is quite good, reasonably priced, and there's nothing better than guac/chips poolside. We had a few challenges with maintenance issues...but they were incredibly responsive and got things fixed up right away. All in all, a really positive experience.

This is a fabulous home and facility. The condo was well appointed with quality furnishings. It is right next to the beach, pool and restaurant. The beach and pools are wonderful. The management of the facility is first class, with kind and truly helpful staff to make your stay very enjoyable. The owners are pleasant and want you to have a nice stay and they deliver. Their manager, Lorena is very helpful and a great communicator. We have travelled the world and found this to be amongst our top Airbnb experiences, right there with a home we stayed in on Rhodes, Greece.
