Rob’s team (Kenny, Guillermo, and Maria) was phenomenal. Truly made us feel at home and always available to help whenever we needed anything. Rob was super proactive right from the beginning and helpful with suggestions and logistics. Felt like we had a concierge in Kenny who had many ideas of things to do and experience. Fantastic vacay

Rob and his team took amazing care of us. Big shout out to Kenny and the entire Tico Village team for making our trip so special. They went above and beyond to take care of us from start to finish. The house is amazing, spotless and in a beautiful location. Look nowhere else, this is the best.

This place was above and beyond. I have already recommended Robs place to two other families!! Kenny made this place and our trip a step above all. Top notch service, super friendly and accommodating! Kenny asked for a grocery list prior to our arrival so we didn’t have to rush to the store on day one. Maria was wonderful and super helpful- it was really nice to have help with daily cleaning and laundry. If youre looking for a beautiful home, where the owner, kenny and others actually want to deliver a luxury experience, this is it!!

Tico Tides is a literal dream come true. The home is absolutely gorgeous and incredibly well stocked. The space is so comfortable and inviting. The rooms are all equally beautiful so with a group of 3 separate families it was really easy to sort out sleeping arrangements. Rob was AMAZING from the first interaction to the last. Extremely responsive and you can just tell he is so excited to share this beautiful home with others. He gave top recommendations on everything from the small things to the big adventures. We stayed with children ages 6- 10 and they had an absolute blast. He truly bent over backwards for us in every way. I have stayed at A LOT of places with all sorts of hosts/ staff and none have compared to this trip. Kenny is the groundsman and driver. I would 100 percent recommend booking him. He also went above and beyond for our families. He spent time with the kids and when we left they all cried because they were going to miss him so much. Book Tico Tides its a dream.

In my opinion this is the best luxury home in Playa Hermosa. This property was absolutely gorgeous. The owner Rob was the best. He rolled out the red carpet for me and my family. There were fresh flowers, fruit, wine & etc. Kenny the host was amazing as well. Whenever I come to Costa Rico I will not stay any other place other than here. This will always be my home while vacationing in Costa Rica.

The place is excellent. Very contemporary, with all the amenities, and very good service from the host. I recommend it.

This was my first time in Costa Rica and Rob made sure to make it our best time. The VIP service of booking all our excursions, stocking the house with groceries, and having kenneto by our side was amazing. Would certainly recommend this and was a great getaway.

If I could give Rob’s house 10 stars I would. The house alone is beautiful and private; the pictures don’t do it justice. The amenities made the house so much more peaceful and made it hard to leave. My friends and I were pleasantly happy with how our trip was and all of the different things we were able to do. I would highly recommend Rob’s place if you are looking for a home away from home. The care and treatment we received during our stay was hands down the best my group has ever received. When I come back to Jaco, Rob’s place is the first place I am checking for availability.

Tico Tides was the most INCREDIBLE Airbnb we have ever stayed in! Rob was amazing he reached out right away to help us plan our trip! The service was top notch the entire time! Kenneth picked us up from the airport so we never had to worry about driving he takes care of EVERYTHING! He quickly became family to us, we already miss him and our adult kids loved having him around, he took them at night to see the town and bars and it made me feel so comfortable to know they were with him! He’s a true local who knows everyone, he has a heart of gold and truly wants you to have the best time! HUGE shout out to Maria she does an amazing job keeping the house tidy, washed our laundry all week and beds were made everyday! Being a family of 7 that made it like a true woman’s “dream-vacation” we were able to truly relax! We had chefs 4 of the 6 nights it gave us so much time as a family to relax in the pool before dinner! The house is a fortress and felt so safe! Can’t wait to come back!

Stayed at Tico Tides for spring break with three families with children ranging from 10 to 15 years old. Everything exceeded our expectations. The host is super responsive and helped set everything up for the entire trip. The local staff was amazing, and fun to be around and also very helpful. The best way to describe the experience is that it is like having your own private concierge at a resort, from booking to transportation, all of it. We are not resort people so this is the best of all worlds.. cannot recommend highly enough and we will def be back.

I’ve lived and worked all over the world and Rob, his place and his team are legit 5 stars!! Absolutely unreal and such a blast. Rob is responsive, supportive and just flat out fun. Keneto and Maria are fantastic on all fronts!! This team matches staying at a Four Seasons, actually they are way more fun. Appreciate you guys and we will be back!

We enjoyed our stay very much and couldn't have asked for a better home base. The property is finished to an exceptionally high standard, with every detail clearly thought out. It was also incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably, both communally and individually. A huge thank you to our hosts for going above and beyond. They were instrumental in facilitating additional services from local providers, such as private dining, spa therapists and local tourist attractions. We took the option of having the driver for the week also, I'd recommend this, as the vehicle itself is modern and comfortable, and Kenny's knowledge and familiarity with the roads / local area ensured our itinerary was executed seamlessly and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a premium stay with top-tier hospitality!

This place is an absolute dream! We have traveled the world and stayed at countless Airbnb’s — this one is at the top of our list & we will absolutely be returning. The house is grand, spacious, private, comfortable and has everything you need. The outdoor pool space is a perfect layout for those who want sun or shade. The bedrooms are spacious, comfy and bathrooms are eloquent (shout out for the dual-head showers!). Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is great when you have a full house of folks. There’s even a bathroom accessible from the pool area. The location is perfect. The beach is just steps away. Soft sand and not crowded at all. And I haven’t even gotten to the best part — Kenneth. He takes care of the home and whoever is in it. He was also our driver for the entire trip & was the gold star for anything we had questions on or suggestions of things to do/find. Rob is a tremendous host. He went above & beyond in every way. If you want a luxury stay in CR, this is the spot.
