Villa Moon was the perfect home away from home for the bachelorette party I planned! 11 of us came to Tamarindo and were looking for a comfortable, private, and elegant place to stay. Villa Moon was exactly that. The villa is in a gated community that was still central to Tamarindo. There's a grocery store right down the street, which made food runs really easy. The villa itself was perfect: comfortable, cool rooms with A/C, plenty of rooms with different bed arrangements, nice bathrooms and showers, a lovely pool, and a state-of-the-art kitchen and grill. Sandra was a fantastic host who helped shape our trip from the minute we booked. She arranged everything we needed, from golf carts to boat tour recommendations. The private chef meal she booked for us was the best meal we had on our trip! If we ever had a question or concern, she made it a priority to respond and help us out. If you're coming to Tamarindo, Villa Moon is the place to stay! I can't recommend it enough.

By far, Sandra has been the best AirBnB host we’ve had. From communications prior to arrival, personally welcoming us on arrival, chatting during our stay, and then even coming bid us farewell…nothing short of perfect! The home was EXACTLY as portrayed in the photos. Nothing was exaggerated! The amenities were perfect! My family and I felt right at home. Her housekeeper Yobeth is also the sweetest soul! She washed and folded our laundry (for a small fee) upon request MULTIPLE TIMES! Coming home from vacation with clean clothes is priceless!!! I will definitely recommend this home for big families/groups who want to stay in the Tamarindo area! Thank you Sandra, for being the gracious hostess!!! ❤️

We had an amazing stay at Sandra’s Airbnb and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Sandra was incredibly attentive, responsive, and so helpful throughout our trip, especially with coordinating transportation and helping arrange activities for our group. Her communication made everything seamless and stress-free from start to finish. The home itself was beyond beautiful — even better than the photos. It was spotless, spacious, and perfectly set up for our group of 12, with plenty of room for everyone to relax comfortably. The layout was ideal for both spending time together and having personal space when needed. Every detail of the house was thoughtfully done, and it truly felt like a luxury getaway. The location was fantastic, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations. We made so many great memories here and are so grateful for Sandra’s hospitality. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this property to anyone traveling with a larger group.

Lovely place in a safe neighborhood. Easy and quick drive to Tamarindo beach and restaurants. Great for families. Kids loved the pool. Could get a little hot because of too many windows, large space and muggy conditions in CR. Rooms, bathrooms and furniture were very nice. Sandra was a great host and always responded very promptly. Highly recommended!!

Sandra’s place was incredible! Beautiful, spacious and secluded, while at the same time being only a short golf cart ride or walk to Tamarindo centre. The beds were very comfortable and the home had everything we needed. Sandra was super responsive and had lots of recommendations for us. She was able to secure a spectacular catamaran tour for us and helped us secure a golf cart for a stay. She also checked in regularly during the stay to see if we needed anything. I highly recommend Sandra as a host and Villa Moon as an AirBnB!

Great house and Sandra was an amazing host. She provided tips and resources for Tamarindo and was super helpful. You definitely need a car or rent a golf cart to get to town and/or the beach. The house was clean, a maid arrived daily, and the house and neighborhood are beautiful.

We came to Tamarindo to celebrate my 35th birthday with a group of friends from across the country—wow, what a treat to have Sandra’s house as our home base! The layout is beautiful, with each person getting their own space and bathroom. The pool is small but ideal for the days when you want to lounge at home and enjoy the space! The kitchen is stocked full of everything you need. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms gorgeous, and the A/C works well for some relief from the Costa Rican heat. There is a maintenance and cleaning staff that keeps the house fresh and beautiful during your stay and will do loads of laundry at your request, as well. This was such a treat to have available. Perhaps even more than the state of the house is the kindness and attentiveness of Sandra and her husband. Their communication is amazing and they are just so kind! They met us at the home to show us around and made themselves available as we planned our daily activities. Trip of a lifetime!

If you’re looking for the best stay in Tamarindo, look no further than here. Not only is the house more beautiful than in the pictures, but Sandra makes the biggest difference. Been using Airbnb for 10 years, stayed in many countries and places, and nothing will compare to this stay or Sandra as a host. The place was pristine and we had an amazing house keeper come by each day to help with cleaning. We came with a large group of friends for my 30th birthday, and she made it so special! She provided the best recommendations, helped with rentals, reservations, and even surprised me with a cake. She was understanding and kind. The location is also great in a safe, gated neighborhood. Everything is a short car/golf cart ride away including a great super market and local sodas. Book this place, you’ll be SO glad you did!!

This stay was clean, beautiful, and absolutely worth the price. It was in a great location close to downtown Tamarindo but in a private and quiet location. Sandra was extremely proactive and helped us through planning our trip, activities, and even advocated for us through an issue we had with a local vendor! Strongly recommend booking with her for your trip to Tamarindo!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa with our family and friends over Spring Break. The property exceeded our expectations. It was exactly as described—clean, spacious, and very well maintained. The design and atmosphere made it a perfect place to relax and enjoy our time. We especially loved the moon nook in the living room. The charming beach town was close by and we fell in love with Tamarindo. The host, Sandra, was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Any questions we had were answered quickly, and they made sure we had everything we needed. Communication was beyond smooth from check-in to check-out. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay. We would happily stay here again in the future!

We had an absolutely incredible stay at this home in Tamarindo! From the moment we booked, the service and attention to detail were above and beyond. Sandra was especially amazing—she helped us arrange everything we needed, from airport shuttles to stocking the house with groceries before we arrived. She also took care of dinner reservations and set up activities for us, which made the entire trip effortless and relaxing. The house itself was stunning—beautifully maintained, spacious, and perfect for unwinding after exploring Tamarindo. Having a daily house cleaner was such a nice touch and kept the place spotless throughout our stay. Overall, the team did everything possible to make our vacation perfect. We felt incredibly well taken care of and would 100% stay here again. Highly recommend!

Amazing stay, home, and host Sandra even took the time and on her own noticed it was the birthday of a 14 yr old traveling with us and she had balloons- and a birthday cake awaiting as a surprise. The home was perfectly located close to all food and fun. Sandra also assisted in multiple activities that were the highlight of the trip. Highly recommend

The Villa is even more stunning in person than in the photos, with a modern, elegant design and immaculately maintained. It felt like a true luxury retreat from the moment we arrived. Sandra is an absolute gem of a host. She was incredibly generous, warm and responsive, and her thoughtfulness really set this stay apart. From personalized recommendations to going above & beyond to organize bookings for our family, she made everything seamless and stress-free. Each bedroom had its own ensuite bathroom, offering plenty of privacy for the 6 of us. The villa is spread out with many sliding doors connecting the indoor and outdoor spaces. The layout lends itself perfectly to together time as well as quiet moments to unwind. The location is a short drive to downtown Tamarindo and the beach, with a high-end grocery store located right at the entrance to the community. We are so grateful for Sandra’s exceptional hospitality. This was truly a special stay and we’d return in a heartbeat!

Ideal between adults or as a family, the place was exactly what we needed: quiet, comfortable and ideally located to enjoy Tamarindo without being in the hustle and bustle. We had a wonderful family stay. The villa is even more beautiful in person — warm, tastefully decorated, and filled with natural light. Everything is perfectly maintained and fully equipped. Spotlessly clean, and we really appreciated the housekeeper’s discretion and kindness. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the kids loved the pool and the garden (we too 😅) — it truly feels like a home away from home.
