4BR Villa in Valle de Bravo

Claudia

Excellent, 3 months ago

The house is very nice. It has many family spaces and several terraces to enjoy the view. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the pool and grill area is incredible.

Spectacular view of the lake. The house is very, very nice, very large and the views of the lake are unbeatable. It has quality furniture and is very nicely decorated. I agree with other comments made by guests that the photos don't do it justice. The property is better in person. Mrs. Silvia was very attentive. The only topics to consider are: 1. Being in the rock, there is a very steep climb to get there. Although the host warned us before arriving that it was steep and that all the cars went up, in the 2 vans that arrived we struggled a lot, one tire skidded horribly and we had to try several times. 2. The house has many stairs. With small children it can be a little stressful. If only adults are going, it's perfect. 3. We paid 3 thousand extra to heat the pool for 2 days and it was barely heated. It was between warm and cold (31 degrees). Maybe at other times of the year it gets warmer, but in September it's not worth it.

I think the first feedback to give to the owner is YOU HAVE TO IMPROVE THE PHOTOS! Haha... if you think the photos are nice, the place is 100 times nicer and bigger. I was worried that since we were 4 couples, we would feel cramped and there was nothing to see. On the other hand, the best view in all Valle! We had a slight problem with the water and Isabel was super attentive to fixing it quickly. Not to mention Silvia's service in the house, which was excellent. As the only clarification, I would say that they should update that a room has two beds instead of a double bed (which can be beneficial for people looking for that), but in our case they helped us by joining the beds for the couple who stayed there. We will definitely be back since we had a beautiful weekend

Gorgeous view

Host Response

Melessa and her family were great guests. Respectful of the place and staff. Happy to have them back soon!

We were very comfortable in the house with 5 people and one infant. The house is located uphill in the highest part of La Peña, so the views of the lake, sunset and the whole valley are spectacular. It is also very clean and tidy. Isabel was very friendly at all times and answered all questions clearly and quickly. Ivonne, the cleaning and cooking manager, was extremely friendly and helpful so we can enjoy a relaxed stay, with very rich home-cooked food (her chilaquiles, the best!). Since the house is located uphill, it can be a little difficult to climb, especially the last climb (although it is short, I had to get everyone out of the car to be able to finish climbing it). The pool and patio is spacious and comfortable, with a charcoal grill we use without a problem. I wish the yard had grass instead of tiles, but it's really nice. We had a great time!

Isabel's house has extraordinary views of both the dam and the peña, it is definitely a great place to spend a weekend with family or friends and relax. The terraces are the best. The service of the people who help with the kitchen and cleaning is extraordinary, they truly make you feel at home. The rooms are comfortable and everything is very well equipped. The only considerations worth noting is that access can be complicated because it is a very steep climb and you have to bring all the necessary ingredients if you are going to use the kitchen service, which is a bit cumbersome. Highly recommended.

This house is beautiful and has an unbeatable lake view. What I loved is that it has many corners and terraces so that everyone can find a place of rest and peace. It's decorated with impeccable taste. The master bedroom is particularly beautiful as well as the terrace with a hammock for breakfast in the morning. The pool is great to have, although it is not very large or very exposed to the sun. Yvonne and Rafael are the people who take care of the cleaning and maintenance of the house. They welcomed us and were attentive to everything during our stay. It is important to know that they live in the house with their children, so it is not so private, although they are very discreet because in the end they share the kitchen and are always there. They helped us when we wanted to turn on the grill, also to prepare a picnic and to ask for a masseur at the house. It was luxury... I certainly recommend this house. It is not close to downtown, since it is located in La Peña, so it is perfect to enjoy and rest.

The house is very nice and has incredible views of the lake since it is in one of the highest parts of the rock. The area is very quiet and allows you to disconnect from all the stress. The climb to get to the house can be impressive at first, but we actually had no problem going up, and I think almost any car can go up (in first gear). Prior to the trip, Isabel quickly answered all the questions we had. For their part, Ivone and Rafael welcomed us as if we were at home, they were always very attentive and helped us in everything they could to make us feel very comfortable. Even on the day of our departure we woke up to the surprise that Rafael had washed the cars that were very dirty :-) We highly recommend the house and hope to be able to return soon.

This was a beautiful clean home with absolutely amazing and breathtaking views and wonderful outdoor spaces on every level. Be aware, however, that is is located very high up an outrageously steep hill. Our minivan (with front wheel drive) couldn’t make it up the street because the front wheels would just spin on the steep stone road. Locals advised that we needed to steer the wheels in a quick zig zag traversing pattern to gain some traction but that didn’t work. Finally we had the family get out so that there was less weight in the back, and that was enough for the front wheel drive to get enough of a grip with a running start from the bottom of the hill. The family walked up the hill and after that we took taxis whenever we left the house. For me, the steep location was simply the price for the view, and I would pay that price again anytime. For others in my group, however, they were a bit freaked out by the location and the heights.

The house is wonderful!! It really has the best views I've ever seen!! In addition to having all the comforts and top-quality finishes. The 4 rooms are a delight, each with its own unique style. We really enjoyed the different common spaces (pool, sunbathing area, living rooms, fireplace, terraces). When a large group goes, it is appreciated to be able to sneak away for a while to one of them ;) The kitchen has the best and most inspiring view. Ivonne and Rafael's service is great. We brought our groceries, and she delighted us with her seasoning at breakfast and lunch. Rafael was very attentive in getting the pool ready and offering us taxi service (that is paid separately). What makes the views spectacular is that the house is at the top of La Peña. Getting there was very easy and although the last climb is steep, all the cars made it. I'm telling you so you don't get caught by surprise! I highly recommend this house. It was a great experience!! PS. The house is spread over 3 floors. The stairs are manageable for children, but for the little ones, Rafael put a small railing in two places for added peace of mind!
