Montserrat

I won’t repeat the positive things people have said about the place and its location. All of those are accurate. At the same time, when we return to Costa Rica, we will not be staying there. My husband and I seriously needed to get out of the States, not only to get away from all that’s going on but also to re-center ourselves and our plans, possibly to include moving to Costa Rica. We would be exploring Guanacaste (with expert help), getting needed rest at the beach (much calmer and restorative than nearby Coco Beach), and doing a lot of out loud thinking through, estimating, and planning. So, besides the warm beach and amazing sunsets, we needed a cool place to retreat to and do this planning, and we figured on a full two weeks in which to do it. We asked the host if her place were a fit for what she had planned, and she she assured us that it was. What happened. First, the internet went out (okay, it happens) and we spent the better part of one morning trying to get it working

The condo was in the best location to walk to restaurants, grocery store, and the beach. It was clean and neat and perfect for our family. The spacious balcony was peaceful and had a great view of the pool and sunset. This is the second time our family members stayed here and we will definitely come back! Montserrat was communicative and we had everything we needed for an easy check-in and comfortable stay.
