We loved our stay in this spotless, well-equipped penthouse in Tamarindo. Lucio is a 5 star host, providing clear communication and responses within minutes to every question. It occupies the top floor and Lucio carried our bags up the stairs and right to the door, which set the tone for the whole stay. He also helped us set up surface lessons and provided great, local recommendations. The highlight is the private balcony with unbeatable ocean views and sunsets. Location is within walking distance to everything downtown Tamarindo has to offer. We look forward to staying here again and highly recommend it.

Lucia’s penthouse in Tamarindo was a hidden gem that exceeded all expectations. The view was even greater than depicted and the location was excellent. The short walk to shops, restaurants, and the beach was easy, and Lucio made sure we knew all of the best spots for meeting our needs. The penthouse was very well appointed and immaculate upon arrival. The living area and bedrooms were very comfortable, and the large kitchen contained everything we needed for cooking our meals and dining on the greatest balcony in Tamarindo. Lucio was an excellent host who made the entire experience as relaxed and enjoyable as could be. He takes care of his guests! Our family will definitely stay at the Tamarindo Penthouse again in the near future and we look forward to seeing Lucio again.

My family and I stayed here for a little over a week, and it exceeded every expectation we had. The second we walked into the penthouse, I knew we picked the right place. The views are incredible, and the outdoor setup is absolute perfection. Lucio was beyond kind and set a whole new standard for Airbnb hosts. He helped us buy fresh fish straight from a local contact and even gave us rides around since we didn't rent a car. He really went out of his way to make our stay special, and he is easily the most gracious host I've ever met.

Lucio was an incredible host! He was extremely helpful, gave fantastic food recommendations, and was there for anything we needed. This is by far the best view (and deal) in Tamarindo! If you book, you will not regret it.

The place was gorgeous. Beautiful art and was spotless and well stocked.The sunset views were spectacular. Lucio is a great host and it was like we had a friend in town if anything went wrong. The transport he arranged to and from airport was excellent. A great stay with an excellent host.

The place was amazing. The view spectacular. Close to Tamarindo walking distance, I rented a bike and could get anywhere around town that I wanted to beach was a five minute walk grocery store five minute bike ride everybody in town that I met was over the top. Nice to me very welcoming and very helpful. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Lucio's place. The place was spotless, very clean, and exactly as shown in the photos. Everything is exactly as advertised, or even better in real life! The location is ideal, and the sea view is simply extraordinary. It was a real joy to be able to enjoy it every day. Communication with Lucio was exceptional from start to finish. He was attentive, available, and truly a great host. We would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful experience. The penthouse was absolutely beautiful and the view from the porch was amazing... monkeys, parrots, hummingbirds, and the sunsets right from our own private porch. The area was very private, but within walking distance to town. There is an uphill walk, but it is doable and completely worth it for the amazing view. Lucio was an wonderful host. I chose this penthouse because of the the reviews about him. It was our first time in Costa Rica. Before arriving he answered all of my questions promptly, booked transportation (which was also great, we bought fruit from a roadside stand), and booked surfing lessons for us. Lucio was waiting for us when we arrived. He welcomed us, carried our luggage, took us to the grocery store and gave us a tour of the area as soon as we arrived. He checked on us daily and gave us recommendations for restaurants. On our last day he gave us a great itinerary for traveling to La Fortuna. I would definitely recommend staying here!!

This place was absolutely awesome. It was simultaneously central and close to the beach but just far enough back and on a side road where you still got the small town beach feel in one of the busier surf towns on the coast. The barbecue on the balcony was so awesome and the view so great that we ended up only eating 1 meal out the whole time we were there. The sunsets and just general view from the second you walk in was surreal and we saw/heard the green macaws and howler monkeys every night. Lucio was excellent. Easily reachable and friendly throughout the whole stay and provided great tips and recommendations. Would 100% recommend and hope to come back sometime.

If there were 10 or more stars, I'd give Lucio 10+ for sure. Lucio was waiting for us when we arrived, helped us with luggage, explained all inside condo, gave recommendations of quick path to take to town and beach access (only 5-minute walk - need to experience that!!) restaurants, contacts for excursions. He even has a contact for buying fresh fish, which we took advantage of that was awesome!!!! If you play pickleball or tennis, less than 1/4-mile down road is a great facility. Lucio is a great host, provided top notch customer service, we felt so welcomed and at home, and had a great experience in Tamarindo. Thank you, Lucio - Pura Vida
