Amazing house and service

Amazing home and service! We went with 3 couples and 2 kids and had so much space to spread out. Each couple had a beautiful, private room with ensuite bathroom and the kids loved their own bungalow away from the main area. The beach below was lovely, fun looking for seashells and hermit crabs. The waves were usually low-key and fun to play in (but not for very littles). Sunsets down there were the best. Bring some bug spray for the evenings, our ankles would get a few bites at dinner. We greatly enjoyed the included food preparation and switched our lunches to snacks by the pool (guacamole, flautas, fruit) and the dinners the larger meal. I highly recommend the banana leaf wrapped tamales, Oaxacan mole negro was fun to try, Oaxacan Tlayudas, Chilaquiles for breakfast, Enchiladas, steak fajitas, eggs and tortillas, ceviche (so fresh!), fresh fruit (mangos if in season) and yogurt, veggie tray, and of course the frozen lime dessert. This home was so relaxing and peaceful. Thank you!!

We were a group of 12 and stayed at Alicia’s place for a week. It was perfect for our large group. We loved the authentic menu. Carmen and her team were amazing! We enjoyed the pool as well as the beach. We hope to be back!

We had an excellent stay. From the first moment, the accommodation met (and exceeded) our expectations. The space is comfortable, clean and very well maintained; you can see the attention to detail. The location is very convenient and allows you to enjoy Huatulco with complete peace of mind. Communication with the host was always clear and timely, which made the whole process simple and smooth. It is definitely a place we would go back to and highly recommend for those looking for a comfortable and pleasant experience. Everything was phenomenal.

If you really want a holiday where you don’t have to worry about a thing, this is the place. The staff cleans every day, cooks for you three times a day, and even brings delicious snacks, so you can truly just relax and enjoy. It feels like a luxurious, all-inclusive experience in a private home. Carmen, who cooks at the house, is amazing – the food is not only delicious but also very traditional, which we loved. The house itself is beautiful, with a unique Mexican style that gives it so much character. The rooms are very nice and comfortable, the pool is great, and having access to a private beach makes it even more special. Everyone who works in the house is kind, attentive, and always ready to help. We left feeling completely relaxed and spoiled. We would love to come back and highly, highly recommend staying here.

I want to start by expressing my gratitude to Alicia for being such a fantastic host. From the moment I reserved the property until my check-out, she was incredibly communicative and attentive to any questions or concerns I had. Carmen, the cook, may be quiet, but she is truly respectful and her warm smile made a lovely impression. The meals she prepared each day were absolutely delicious. The house itself is stunning, with breathtaking views and a beautiful private beach. However, I would advise caution for little ones, as the waves can be quite rough and potentially dangerous for children. Overall, I highly recommend this property 100%!

A beautiful place to enjoy with family.

The view of Casa Tehuana was the best of everything, easy access and very good service from the cooks. Spacious rooms and well distributed coexistence areas. We would definitely return as a family. Alicia was an excellent attentive host in communication before and during our stay.

We had a great time! Location was wonderful and the house was super comfy and clean. Only thing I would note is that the beach is not for swimming--the stairs down to the beach area are a bit intense and the current is quite strong. But, pool was awesome!

We had a dream vacation at this house with three generations of our family. Everything was as pictured, the pool was the perfect temperature, there was ample shade (and sun!), and we enjoyed the proximity to local beaches (such as Santa Cruz), for morning adventures to other beaches. We also enjoyed our daily hike down to the private beach to look for stones and crabs (as “swimming” at the beach on the property isn’t really possible/recommended due to the rough water, which is noted in the listing). The employees who live-on site are polite and helpful, and cleaned and cooked every day for us, leaving us pampered. Overall, 10/10 vacation, and highly recommend for a relaxing vacation where you will feel pampered and well taken care of!

We three couples had such a relaxing, luxurious, wonderful week at Casa Tehuna. We loved the pool and the beach, which is as pretty as any we saw on our seven-bay jetski tour. We also enjoyed snorkeling off the beach, though you do need to be a little careful to avoid rocks. The service from the staff was excellent, including staying past 7pm two nights to serve us, despite our protests. The food, while not Michelin quality, was yummy and plentiful, and we loved not having to cook or clean. We especially loved the daily fresh fruit. I think we all would definitely return. Note: we got by easily without a car. Taxis were easy to call and took us everywhere we wanted to go for a reasonable price. For English speakers, it definitely helps to have someone in your group that can speak and understand a little Spanish, but using Google Translate is a good fallback w the staff and taxi drivers.

Our stay at Casa Tehuana couldn’t have been anymore perfect. The house itself was gorgeous, peaceful, spotless, the view from every room incredible and the beds were super comfortable. The location was great just a 10-15 minute ride to the center of town or to your favorite Huatulco beach. The semi-private beach is worth the trip up and down the stairs. What made our stay all the more perfect was the hospitality and incredible cooking by Carmen and Daisy. Would definitely love to back!

Best, most beautiful Airbnb I’ve ever stayed at. The home is stunning– gorgeous architecture, spacious rooms that blends right in with some of the best views of the pacific ocean. The house was spotless, and the cleaning and cooking service was absolutely impeccable– worth every single penny. (5 stars food!) The stairs to the beach made the private bay feel even more magical than it already was. Perfect for big groups of friends, family or even coworkers. Though the house was a bit too big for a group of 4, we made the layout of the bedrooms work such that it didn’t feel like we were very spread out. Already looking forward to coming back!

A lovely respite for some quiet time!

Wonderful house, comfortable rooms. The best part is the pool and the comfortable and pleasant star room. The food they prepared was delicious. Beautiful ocean view. I would recommend it 100%.

It's a great place..!! And very quiet for a very comfortable vacation. Alicia and her team's attention was the best . They cook super rich and their rooms are very comfortable . I would come back without thinking !!!!!

It is a beautiful home! You will not be disappointed! Only things that I did not appreciate was, the charge for using the washer and dryer! I feel with what you pay, it should include that! And, I am not used to having someone cook for me. I wanted more access to the kitchen! Wanted to have the option to cook if wanted to.

We visited Casa Tehuana as a family and the experience was phenomenal. Alicia was always on the lookout, and the house staff was extremely friendly and helpful, we had an amazing time. The living spaces are outdoors (living room, dining room) so sometimes if you felt the heat, but nothing that can't be fixed with the ceiling fans, ocean breeze and the pool (which was quite taken advantage of). The rooms are very comfortable and as described and shown in the photographs, the mattresses are also very comfortable. To access the beach you have to go down many steps (as well described), however, the tour is pleasant and with breaks, it does not feel at all heavy. Once downstairs, the beach is beautiful, private. The swell Yes is strong, especially in the mornings, we didn't get more than the feet, but there was enough fun for the kids with the sand, the conchitas and the crabs. We really enjoyed our stay, we will certainly come back :) Thank you

Casa Tehuana was the perfect place for our 2 families to hang for a week. The layout is wonderful, allowing for both privacy as well as great common areas to come together. The little cove is beautiful and only a short, if steep, walk away. Everyone working there were kind and helpful. Highly recommend 🌞

Alicia's house was amazing. Place was beautiful, clean, and in a great location. All was as Alicia described it and every review I looked at prior to booking was accurate. We had a cook and cleaners and they were all excellent. Carmen cooked delicious, local Oaxacan cuisine. We had an amazing time and I will definitely go back.

The house is the beautiful, the common areas and the very comfortable rooms, the impeccable maintenance, the pool is great and the beach is almost private. Alicia and her team attended us very well. It has menus prepared and the food is amazing!! The truth far exceeded expectations :) Highly recommended to spend a very eaten time, in a nice house and with excellent service.

We had an amazing stay at the house. The way the house is set up , gave each family there privacy, yet we were able to come together and have a great time in the pool area. All the meals that were prepared for us were delicious. They even catered to my boy who is a very picky eater. We highly recommend staying here, we are definitely going back in the future.

The photos don't do this dream house justice. A perfect place to spend time together, relax, and enjoy. The Mediterranean design makes the house cool. The rooms are very nicely sized. The pool can be enjoyed at any time since it is right in the common area. The breakfast table is perfect for spending hours at the table. The private beach gives it an intimate and special touch. We hired the meal service, and each meal was a pleasant and delicious surprise. If you are considering Casa Tehuana for your vacation, you won't regret it. The service from the staff and Alicia makes you feel calm and happy to be there.

Best place to stay if you visit with family or friends, a beautiful house with the best views. We arrived just after the hurricane and Alicia and her personnel made sure that the house was clean and ready for us in the middle of the rains, we had an excellent time, it was very easy to communicate with Alicia she responds within minutes and the personnel was super attentive, servicing, and friendly needless to say the food was excellent. Thank you Alicia for making our experience in your beautiful place amazing and special thanks to your personnel Eli, Sonia and Zulma for the great service, definitely will recommend this place and visit again

It is a pleasure to host you at Casa Tehuana, we were a group of 8 women and we had a great time, it has everything and more than you need. Cozy, impeccable cleanliness, a tasteful architectural design, -- the photos do not do justice-- attention and smiles of Flor, Lety and Darina; a divine beach and the best view for the sunset. We were all very happy and pleased with the choice of this great house in Tangolunda.

We spent some unforgettable days. The service was very attentive and discreet, the cook Flor is a genius who knew how to satisfy all our desires, so much so that we never went out to a restaurant. We had a hard time leaving, after a month one gets used to being allowed. Thank you!

Great place, beautiful view, very friendly people.

This is a really splendid place :) I took a large group here for a working retreat and we were immediately revived and delighted by the bay view from the pool and the warm breeze gently blowing in from the hillside. Alícia is a phenomenal, responsive hostess, and Flor and the ladies that look after the place and the guests are simply lovely. They are phenomenal cooks, too, and took care of our team all weekend. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a restful, scenic weekend. Note that Huatulco isn’t a party town or a surf beach. For either of those check out some other places nearby 👍🏼
