Great location, wonderful host, had everything we needed. Best sunset spot ever! Will be back!

We've been to Sayulita many times and stayed at many AirBnB's and Janet's was certainly among the best. Place was exactly as advertised and had everything we expected. Janet was responsive when we had a question, whole staff was just great. With regard to the issue of potential safety issues in the area, we can say that Sayulita was literally unaffected. Although shops, etc. closed for a couple nights out of an abundance of caution, we never felt unsafe or in any danger for a moment. We will happily be back next year!

This home and complex are lovely. It’s easy to see that Janet, the owner of the home(s), cares deeply about the property and Sayulita. We stayed here as a group of 5 adults and 2 young children. The accommodations were perfect for us. The toughest decision you’ll need to make is if it’s going to be a “pool day” or “beach day”. The shared pool was stellar and it’s easy to see plenty of investment has gone into this experience. Hopefully we are fortunate enough to make more memories with our family and friends in the complex and ride along Sayulita’s journey.

Host Response

Thank you for choosing Mar Amor. I am happy to hear that your experience at our property went well. We hope to see you again sometime in the future!

This home was perfect for our family. We have three boys, 13/11/9, and the proximity to the beach and pool created endless activities. The view from the back porch is priceless, the small community is very friendly, and all of Sayulita is easily walkable from the house. Best yet, there is a really tasty restaurant just across the street and a local stand that has everything you need. I recommend this location for any family with small kids.

We loved Janet’s place, it was very convenient but also felt secluded and safe. The house was great because we had a mix of mingling with others that were staying in the 5 other houses that share the pool and at times we had the pool area to ourselves. She had all of the beach items you would need and there are beach bars and restaurants as soon as you step on the sand outside of the house, they would even serve you are the house pool. The cleaning lady was a wonderful touch as she would tidy everyday and we always came home to a clean home. The location was wonderful being so close and walking distance to so many things; renting a golf cart was fun for the kids as well as gave us more flexibility to get around the town quickly and further. If you want to submerge yourself in the Mexican culture while feeling safe and having fun this place is for you! I can’t wait to come back!

Host Response

I hope to see you again soon!

This place was amazing. Right on the beach but set back enough that you can still lounge outside with privacy. Shared pool, many different seating areas to enjoy. The bedrooms worked well for us, the side beds were a bit smaller than we thought but worked for our kids. Housekeeper was available every day. Janet responded to any inquiries immediately. We loved the openness of the house and all the amenities in the kitchen and for the beach. We had a great time and really were greatful for how central to everything the place is as well as how it is magically SO quiet at night! Fabulous family place for sure! Thanks Janet!

Wow. Amazing stay and outstanding hosting from Janet. We needed a last minute place and Janet went way above and beyond to make it happen for us. The place was incredible. Right on the beach. Full kitchen. Big tub. Beautiful vibes. King bed. Great housekeeper. Restaurant and bar with live music right across the street but still quiet inside. We had a chef come cook meals and he had everything he needed in the kitchen. You can hear the surf from the house at night. You are close to the action but it is really peaceful and quiet inside. Janet was quick with all of her responses and worked really hard to help us sort out the last minute stay. Thank you, Janet. Can’t recommend this place enough. Hope to make it back soon.

Thank you again Janet and Enrique for opening up your home - it has been a pleasure coming back again for another stay!!!

Great stay for two families each with toddlers. Location was the highlight and flow of the space was really nice for our group of six, too. I felt safe and secluded while still accessible to town and things to do. It’s definitely a beach house vibe and more charming than contemporary but we enjoyed that aspect. Nothing better than waking up to an ocean view. Janet and her team were on it and responsive with questions and things that came up during our stay. I recommend.

If you are traveling to Sayulita for vacation, this is the place to stay. The home is spotlessly clean, so beatiful, so peaceful. Janet is easy to contact and provided helpful recommendations for golf cart rental and car service from Puerto Vallarta. We went out for a half day ocean fishing excursion with Enrique, the house manager. This was the highlight of our trip. He made it so fun for our nine year old son, who caught his first ever ocean fish. The only drawback from the whole trip was the beach behind the house. It was more steep down to the water, as opposed to flat and expansive. We didn't realize this and just because we were there with our son we had wished for a more user friendly beach for kids. But overall, there is nowhere we would stay but here if we were to return again. So quiet, such a beatiful home, great for families.

Everything was great!

We had a great vacation in Janet’s pretty house! Pros: Quiet location 50ft from sand, spacious house, and air conditioning during summer was awesome! Housekeeping was not expected, but a really nice surprise. We rented a golf cart recommended by Janet. Even though everything was walking distance it was so hot and having that was nice. Cons: Both bathrooms are very outdated and both showers had different issues that required us to waste time during our vacation to address them. They were not really resolved but both Janet and office manager were responsive. The refrigerator defrosts randomly and all our take out food was ruined. This was also reported to the office manager and not fixed during our stay. At the end of day, it was a very nice stay. In my opinion a little over priced for the condition of the bathrooms.

We loved our stay! The house, bedrooms and common areas are laid out so nice, such a homey feel, not like a rental at all!! great beachfront location, quiet all day and night! Comfy bed, patio doors can be wide open when you want it, closed when you need it. Great patios, beautiful terrace with table, chairs, sun loungers - great ocean view, everything you could need and exactly as pictured!!!!!

Our family vacation at Janet's place was picture perfect. We traveled with our two small children (9 months and 3.5 years) for a week-long stay at the beach. Janet's place was everything we needed and more. More than enough space, giving our oldest plenty of room to run around and explore while my wife and I relaxed. Amazing views of the sunset every night. We loved the pool just outside the door and having the beach (and $30, hour-long massages!) just a few steps further. Janet provided a pack-n-play for our youngest, which saved us having to travel with an extra bag. She also went above and beyond what was expected by letting us stay in a separate apartment for a few hours after our check-out time, so our kids could nap before catching a late afternoon flight. I can't recommend staying at Janet's places enough. We also hired private chef Cecilia for three meals during our stay (find her on the SayulitaLife website), and it was so, so good. Just hire her—the food is wonderful and it'll make your stay unforgettable.

I thought I would write an average review for our experience with Mar Amor. Of course this would be solely to discourage people from booking the place thus guaranteeing availability when we book again! But, while this sounded like a good idea, I cannot bring myself to express anything less than amazement and complete satisfaction with our choice to stay here. This was our first trip to Sayulita so we had no idea where to stay. We researched for about a month, narrowed it down to three possibilities, and came up with Mar Amor as our choice. And, as the first person that walked into the house said "way better than advertised". And this statement is true in so many ways. LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION - Not only was this house steps from the beautiful beach and the welcoming pool, it was located in the Las Gemelas complex which is in the 'North Side'.The north side is distinctly different from south or downtown Sayulita. The north side is definitely a more layed back community with less noise and less crowds. There are still small markets, bars on the beach, and great small cafe's and restaurants right outside the property - just not as many people. And that was a big plus! There was always room to spread out on the beach in front of the house. On the beach in downtown Sayulita you will find it to be quite busy and filled most any day. But it's a quick walk for those who enjoy a busier beach. And just to add a little about the location relative to everywhere else in Sayulita - Sayulita is small! While it is very popular to rent golf carts, Sayulita is totally walkable. I'd say it took no more than 10 minutes to walk anywhere in town. THE HOUSE(can I live here please!) - The las gemelas property has 5 different houses. As indicated earlier we stayed in Mar Amor. The house was well equipped, well layed out and beautifully decorated. What was so enjoyable was the fact that it had everything you need from an updated house, but you still felt like you were in Mexico! Too many updated places make it feel like you could be anywhere. But what really attracted us to this house, which was completely validated, was that the living, dining and large patio really became one. You could bring the outside in or the inside out, however you want to look at it. 3 very large glass doors opened up allowing you amazing views of the pool, beach and some ri-dic-u-lous-ly gorgeous sunsets! Not a day went by where we went to dinner prior to watching those sunsets. Sunset time was a thing on that patio - along with 50 million photos between us. And we genuinely thought the sunset view from Mar Amor was the best out of all the Las Gemelas houses. And then there was our wonderful housekeeper, Eden. What a beautiful person she was. Always smiling, she would come in everyday around 11 and proceed to clean the entire house including all surfaces and floors, do all the laundry(including ours if we left on the floor) and do our dishes! She was awesome! JANET - Janet is the owner of the house and if I have it correct, the property. From the very beginning she was quick to respond to any inquiries I might have had and any recommendations. We were also fortunate enough to meet her during our trip. Janet was a very welcoming person who cared about our enjoyment and satisfaction during our stay. And she always wore a great smile! I would call it the Sayulita Smile! Cuz everyone in sayulita smiles! Janet also owns a few more properties in Sayulita. And the one thing I gathered, is that out of all the properties, Las Gemelas has the BEST POOL.....because that's where she was hanging out with friends whom were staying at her other properties. And you will use the pool. That sand gets really, really hot sometimes. Another really nice aspect to this property were the other people. We met some really nice people staying at the other houses including one of the owners of another house and her friends and family. Everyone was friendly. Everyone had the Sayulita Smile! We were 5 guys looking to take a break from our businesses. A get away to relax, drink(hah!), swim, surf and explore. This place checked ALL the boxes. Thanks Janet! And cheers to all the wonderful people we met, including Amy and Tony at the Tropical across the street!

Casa Mar Amor was a dream. It opens up into the most spectacular views of the ocean and palm trees. The house is extremely well equipped with all the things you would need in the kitchen. In addition, there is daily housecleaning who will also wash your clothes if you leave them in the laundry basket (the back room did not have one so I only learned about my other guest having their laundry washed on the last day of our stay). A woman named Laura came by on the first day to welcome us and provide her number in case we needed anything, which we did and immediately had responses to. This house gives Airbnb vibes but still checks off all the things you might find in a resort. We did ask Janet to recommend some home chefs and she gave us Cecilia’s information. The food that was cooked by Cecilia was incredible! Please hire her if you are able to. There are also golf carts available for rent, just ask Laura for more details. The plaza Is a 12 min walk away. Over all, I am so happy with our stay and would recommend this home 100 times over to our friends.

We had a blast! More on the local side of Sayulita which made it a better experience. Easily can walk to restaurants and maybe a 10-15min walk to the main tourist spots. Janet was also a huge help day of landing and throughout the week. Highly highly recommend!

The house it self was great for two families and a nanny (or another couple/grandparents/older children). There was a pack-n-play provided and the twin beds in the two king bedrooms was a great set up for younger kids (we had a 4,3,2 and 1 year old with us). The nanny took the extra room that did not have an extra twin bed in the room. The house keeper was a rock star! She came every day, cleaned/tidied the house and did laundry. The only misleading part of the listing was what I call a bunk-room. The room with two twin beds that can also be a sitting room. We had planned to put the two older kids in this room but there was no air conditioning unit so it was too hot for them. This was not mentioned on the listing. Only found out when we spoke with Janet on the phone after we had booked the listing. Again, thankful for the twin beds in the King bedrooms. As for the grounds. The pool was perfect for families. It has a larger kid pool that our 1 and 2 year old's could have freedom in but the older kids also found enjoyment. The beach itself was a disappointment. There was so much debris and waves were so strong right at the sands edge we couldn't really enjoy the beach with our kids. As for Janet, she was a decent host. Helped out with transportation too/from the airport but wasn't very friendly. She came by once and we felt as though she didn't want us there. We were traveling with friends, that were staying two houses down, and they lost power and water. They asked if they could bring their kids over to swim to cool them off (again, the ocean wasn't safe). We asked the other renters in the complex and they were completely fine with it. Janet was not happy about it. It's not like we were having a party, the kids were swimming because their house had no power/water. The bedroom doors lock, but she doesn't have keys for them. She suggested a locksmith. Again, Janet was a decent host, just not very responsive at times and portions of the booking/trip could have gone smoother.

There is nothing but good to say about Casa Maramor. If you watch the v-logger Sayulita Youtube videos you will find that overhead drone videos, and even beach location shots somehow always end up at Las Gemelas, which is the property upon which Casa Maramor is located. Las Gemelas is gated both on the street side and the beachfront, and inside sit a handful of wonderful homes, and in my opinion, the best situated and most well appointed is Casa Maramor. The (maybe 6) homes in Las Gemelas all face the ocean, and while they are near to each other, there is never a sense of loss-of-privacy. This is partially due to the clever angles, but also the beautiful lush greenery which abounds and provides strategic privacy screening as well. Without question Casa Maramor wins the position battle for best view. This view is complemented with a huge well-appointed patio that flows seamlessly into the exquisite palapa of Casa Mararmor. Large windowed folding doors can be opened to create a wonderful outdoor feel inside the palapa, and also to encourage a gentle and welcome ocean breeze to keep you cool. The palapa portion of Casa Maramor includes the kitchen, the huge front room (with working smart tv), the amazing dining area, as well as the "reading room" or extra (fourth) bedroom. This portion of the home is not air conditioned, owing to the fact that it is a palapa! Experience the area with the doors open and the breeze flowing. There are also many ceiling fans to help keep things comfortable. There are three large bedrooms that connect to the palapa. When we arrived I could not identify any one of the rooms as being the true "Master" - they are all AMAZING and could be considered mater bedrooms! If you go with 3 couples, no couple will feel "cheated" regardless of the room they get. Each room also has great visual and audible privacy from the others. Enough said. The bedrooms each have their own beautiful tiled bathrooms and showers. Just amazing detail in each room, including a fantastic brick domed ceiling in one of them. They all have access to one of the two interior garden courtyards which we never really used, but they were nice to look at. In the back of the home is an exterior laundry area with washing machine and dryer. From here you can access a small staircase that leads you to a little hidden rooftop deck. Why you would use this deck when there is such a huge one out front is beyond me, but it is there for you. Another hidden gem is the outdoor shower. Just to the right of the front door is a discreet green gate that conceals a wonderful stone shower area and garden hose - just in case the shower by the entrance from the beach (maybe 50 ft away) didn't do the trick. Inside this shower area are also some much appreciated beach gear. Two boogie boards as well as 6(ish) Tommy Bahama beach chairs along with 3 or 4 beach umbrellas. This review is already very long, but I could go on much longer. Some quick tips: * Parents - 100% of the very close-by pool is easily visible from the patio. The only house that can say this. You can watch your swim-ready kids from the patio and be in the pool in seconds. * Las Gemelas has a large open area inside the gate where you can park golf carts and also plug into the wall outlets that are provided. * You do not need a golf cart to get anywhere downtown. You are a short walk away from everything either on the surface street just outside your back gate, or the beach outside your front gate. That said, renting a gold cart and exploring for a day is fun, and a great way to orient your family to Sayulita. The streets can be confusing and some of the hills are steep if you want to explore outside downtown. I recommend taking the golf cart to Playa Escondido if you want a real exploring in the jungle kind of experience. * Have a great time, enjoy the local vibe, remember you are a guest in Casa Maramor and Sayulita. Hola!

Location is great and Janet was very good about communicating- offering help with COVID thing, transportation, etc. The house itself was bit dark and a little tired.

Janet made this whole experience of our first time going out of a resort district very easy and enjoyable. She helped us arrange transportation and was happy to answer any and all questions we had before, and throughout, our stay. There is a house tips book when you walk in, I highly suggest reading through it as it will answer a lot of questions you may have and has valuable information about washing fruit and things you may not think about, in it. The location could not be more beautiful and it’s right on the beach with a pool that allows you to see the beach as well. The house has multiple doors so you can get the wind from the beach from many angles. Each bedroom has an air conditioning unit you can use when/ if you need to. The house itself is a beautiful piece of architecture down to the curves in the bathrooms and careful consideration of each detail. There was a house keeper that came through each day to help clean dishes, sweep/mop and wash towels, etc. All in all, we will stay here again in the future and appreciate everything from start to finish.

From start to finish this was a wonderful trip! Each room is spacious and has attached bathrooms. The location is ideal as it's right on the beach and you can easily walk into the center of town. It's on the less crowed side of the beach which was very nice, but if you want more action its a short walk away. My daughter had the best time playing in the pool. The pool was the perfect temperature! Janet provided beach chairs and umbrella which made hanging out on the beach all day very enjoyable. There is also a cleaning lady that comes each day to make the beds, clean the house, and do the dishes. Who doesn't love that! Janet was so nice and responsive. She arranged transportation to and from the airport and connected us with a private chef, Cecilia. The dinners we had with Cecilia overlooking the ocean were a highlight for sure. Janet's son met us at the house when we arrived to show us around and answer any questions. Staying in the perfect place really made our vacation. We can't wait to come back!

Perfect location and gorgeous house and property! Our family of six had plenty of room and we had a great stay !!

From the beginning, our stay was effortless (well, except for cancelled flights!). Janet was very quick to respond, she set up our transportation and return covid testing. The house was in a great location - close enough to walk to town, close enough to walk on the jungle trails, and overlooking such a pretty beach. I think this is probably the best location in sayulita. We were 5 friends on a girl's trip, and Janet's house worked perfectly. We appreciated the comfortable king-sized beds and en-suite bathrooms and the abundant space to spread out. The living room in the house has doors on two sides that open completely to the pool and patio area, it was so nice to have open air living - no mosquitos! The pool area is great and steps away on the beach are fun bars for lunch or happy hour. This was our first trip to sayulita and we will definitely be back. The people are lovely, great food is everywhere and not expensive, there are lots of activities, it is genuinely a very happy place.

This house is wonderful! The view is gorgeous and relaxing! The pool was so close, beautiful, and relaxing! And the beach is just steps away as well- it was great to have the house so close to the ocean, but removed enough to not feel like beach walkers were in your front porch. The main space is airy and open. The kitchen is well stocked for all cooking needs. The bedrooms are spacious with super soft sheets and comfy beds. An unexpected bonus was daily housekeeping, so the house was tidy and clean for our whole stay! Janet is a great communicator, and we feel so thankful that we found Casa Mar Amor!

Our stay at Janet’s home was wonderful! The house is amazing, right on the beach with a beautiful pool and convenient outdoor shower. The 3 main bedrooms all have ac, which is amazing. Cleaning staff comes nearly every day. Janet helped us arrange airport transfer to Sayulita and on our last day also arranged free late checkout since she didn’t have a check in that day. A great experience at a home that I definitely recommend!

We really enjoyed the Maramor house, the pool, the beach as well as the proximity to the shops. We didn't take the car in 5 days. Nos surimos en la pueblo a pie. Sayulita has very good food. We tried ceviche, pizza, bread and even delicious French pastry. The place was ideal for two families (4 adults, 4 boys). Unexpectedly the internet reached for the guys online classes. We highly recommend Janet's place and service.

We had such a lovely stay. We were 3 families: grandparents, two couples and kids. We had so much space both inside and outside to relax. Each couple having their own master was so wonderful. My boys slept in the little twin room off of the living room which worked out fantastically (they fell asleep quickly despite us being awake since they had spent all day doing Pool-beach repeat—both of which are in view from the deck off the living room!). The daily housekeeping ensured the sand that inevitably got dragged in didn’t pile up. We were able to walk into town in just a few minutes but barely heard the commotion from our end of the beach and certainly not indoors. When you’d walk back through the streets and open our gate it would immediately feel cool and calm. Ice cream and restaurants were just across the street and drinks (and massages!) were available just down the steps on the beach. For us this was likely a once in a lifetime trip—and we loved every minute. If we ever have the chance we will definitely return.

Highly recommend. We just returned from our family vacation at Janet’s Airbnb in Sayulita and it was absolutely amazing! We traveled with six adults, one child that is four years old and another that is 15 months. The location of the home offered the perfect convenience to both the pool, the beach and walking to downtown Sayulita. In addition the house had umbrellas, boogie boards, small cooler and beach chairs that made for really great beach day. I truly appreciate that the home already had a pack and play so I didn’t have to worry about the baby’s sleep accommodation. In addition, that each room has its own bathroom made everyone’s stay more comfortable. The general compound was safe and secure and I liked that it had an ample quad/driveway away from the main road. We were able to use the taxi services that Janet recommended and it made for a very smooth transportation as well as grocery shopping. I always appreciated how responsive Janet was throughout the process and I’m looking forward to visiting and staying at the location again!

Wonderful home on the ocean in delightful Sayulita!

Casa Maramor is a true slice of paradise! The house is outstanding and in an ideal location for all the enjoyment to be experienced while staying in beautiful Sayulita. Gated compound from the Main Street, AC in every room, big beds, and perfect for a large family or for multiple couples looking to share the house. Right outside the ocean-facing doors is amazing beach access with adventure in either direction. I can’t forget about Irene, our cleaner, who kept the house fresh and clean daily. Thank you Janet for sharing your beautiful home with us. We will be back!

Host Response

Thank you Kim, It was my pleasure to meet you and Mark and your group! Hope to see you again!

Beautiful Location. The location of Janet’s home is the best thing going for it. This home has a ton of potential, and if managed properly coupled with some updates it could truly be a dream vacation rental and one be the best homes on the market for families to rent when visiting Sayulita. Our process in renting this space and communication was good and prompt. However there were some slightly misleading information in the booking process. This home is listed as a 4 bedroom, which upon arrival it clearly is not. The 4th space she has listed as a “room” is located in the main hallway and is more of a closet or cut out in the wall. A 4ft x 11ft space, equipped only with a with a concrete built in couch, no window, no ac and is too hot to have anyone sleep in it. If you are wanting a 3 bedroom home you will get that, but to list that this home can sleep 7 or 8 should be changed in the listing. This home is in need some major renovations, a starting point however would be to make sure the small things are completed. Starting with cleanliness: This is the biggest one - this home was dirty, and not rent ready. From the tops of ceilings fans being caked with 1 inch of dust, along filth on the top of the refrigerator was appalling. The fridge along with all other appliances are in need of replacement as they are rusting out. The cutlery drawer full of rusted out utensils, blender not really functioning. Everything is very out dated and felt old. Shower head in the bedroom ensuite of the kitchen was full of calcium, and water would hardly come through. Sheets smelled stale. Old Gecko poop on the couches. The area rug in the main area has never been moved to be cleaned under. I made the mistake to lift it up when collecting my kids lego, and was taken aback by how dirty it was underneath. The windows/ doors of the living room space are not sealed and allow for a lot of debris to come in. This should also be taken into consideration that an update of windows with proper locking/ seal should be invested in. The curtains in the main area are also dirty, and stained with rust. Patio furniture is worn out. TV was not functioning ( not a major concern as the we weren’t there to watch TV) The grounds itself, again have so much potential, but the groundskeeper on staff is all over the place and never seems to be finishing a project. For example we arrived on a Monday and he started to cut the grass ( that was in serious need of a trim), he completed 10 square meters and then left the remaiing 500 square meters of the beautiful outside pool/grass area unattented too. Along with the grass clipping not cleaned up, he left lawnmower out for days on end and never ended up in the 6 days finishing the job. He would start to trim the hedges, and then leave the cutting shears and the rake out in the pathway along with the trimmed leaves and debris in a pile never cleaning up after himself. The entrance area when coming from the roadside, is unfortunately the first impression that you get. To be honest it is some what sketchy looking as the gate doesn’t properly lock, and the “parking area” looks extremely run down. These grounds could be stunning, again if proper management and maintenance staff were there to make sure the jobs were being completed. It could be a 10/10. Construction was also a nuisance during our stay, again I know when traveling on the off season this is the time for many home repairs and construction to take place. However the jackhammering, and constant chainsaw noise was the soundtrack to our stay for the first 3 days, truthfully so loud you couldn’t enjoy a conversation on the deck. I did contact Janet to address this, and explained that no where on her listening was there a disclaimer informing us that this construction next to the home would be taking place. She did attempt to get a hold of the contractor to pause the construction, and that was very much appreciated. There is a night time security, however we unfortunately experienced a theft during our stay. Our Go-Pro was taken, ultimately is was our responsibility of us to make sure to not leave it outside. However just as a warning to all those renting to keep your valuables in your view or stowed away. I write this review as a form of feedback, and as an opportunity for the owner to make the necessary improvements to ensure overall guest satisfaction is met. She owns a beautiful property will a ton of untapped potential.

Host Response

Thank you for your compliments concerning my most popular Beach Front House. I am quite surprised by your very unusual and very long review. Especially, the part where you measure how many sq meters my gardener cut the grass. This is one of the most sought after properties in Sayulita. We always receive raving reviews about the entrance to the property through the palm grove. Our entrance gate is never supposed to be locked. We have not been listed very long on Air B and B. We have never had a bad review and it is important to note that this property has never had a bad review on any of the platforms that we have used over the years. After consulting with Air B and B they suggested that I respond to your long review point by point which would make my response extremely and unnecessarily very long We have a full time house keeper who has always kept the house in excellent condition. She was there for you every day during your stay. During your stay we had many conversations and if you felt that there was any issue with cleanliness I am surprised that you didn't ever mention it to me or to the housekeeper. Our beautiful open living space which is under a big palapa has handcrafted tropical hard wood sliding doors , which on any breezy day will let leaves ,mist, dust and garden debris blow in. Yes are are geckos in the palapa and the maids cleans up after them. We never lock the entrance gate that opens into the beautiful Palm grove property. We had the construction noise stopped and even offered to move you to another one of our 3 bedroom ocean front properties if you had wanted to but you declined. We discussed the small 4th sleeping space in a few messages before you arrived. You knew it was a small space and it is clearly shown and described in the pictures as a small extra sleeping area with a ceiling fan and no AC. I am not sure why you would even want to use this small room without AC , when you reserved for 4 adults and 4 very young children who slept in cribs, which I provided for you. My housekeeper did say that you had 3 couples rather than the 2 couples and 4 children you reserved the house for, which if is true was over my occupancy limit. During your stay, all your questions questions and concerns were immediately addressed, always leading me to believe that your were happy with this house. You and your husband and 2 children seemed like such a lovely young couple, and because we had such good communications during and before your stay , I am perplexed at to the reason why you would redact this review that is inconsistent with this house. At any rate please note that I would always take anyones comments and remarks very seriously and have looked into each and every one of your remarks. You reservation was for 4 adults and 4 children and my housekeeper said that there were 6 adults and 4 children which is over my accepted occupancy.

This home superseded our expectations. We had everything we needed and more. Location: The beach is just a few steps out the front door and the pool is just as close. A short walk down the beach or down the street, you pick the route and you are in town, which was perfect because we liked exploring in the plaza but wanted a place to return to peace and quiet. We rented a golf cart, not completely necessary but made our trips to hidden beaches, exploring and trips to the markets quicker. Several restaurants are just steps away from the house as well as a cool little mellow bar on the beach three homes away. We had him make us a few drinks and just returned the glasses the next day. The home: This place has everything, coffee maker, beach towels, umbrella, beach chairs, fully loaded kitchen, washer and dryer and space, plenty of space. Rooms are beautiful and living area is perfect. Open the floor to ceiling doors and let the breeze flow in, we sat outside and ate dinner and watched the sunset. Then all collapsed on the super comfy couches and chairs and caught up on the news on the television(I like to stay a little in touch). The palapa roof made it feel even more tropical with the birds chirping away at night. All electrical works perfect, home lighting around the place creates a very welcoming ambiance. AC in the rooms worked without flaws as well. The house cleaner came daily and did an immaculate job as well. I’m probably missing a ton of bonus details but Janet can add to any I have missed. She was super responsive and very welcoming(thanks for the fresh ground coffee upon arrival!). This was a great choice home and glad we stayed here. Only thing I wish I did differently was pack a lot lighter. We didn’t need/use half of the things we packed. Looking forward to our next trip to Sayulita!
