3BR Condo in Mexico City

Javi

Good, 2 weeks ago

Great location to walk to Polanco. Amenities are amazing. Make sure you book them in advance with the host on the app. Super responsive and proactive host.

Wonderful location, nice building and apartment with very nice view. The kitchen is also well equipped. The access is a real problem. Excessive security and compliance requirements makes it difficult to just get into the apartment. Front door access did not work and one elevator was not working well during our stay aven after they supposedly fixed it. We requested the Gym, pool and entertainment area access before our stay and we got the confirmation that we have access the night before leaving (after a week). The air conditioning unit make a lot of noise and they keep on stopping and starting.

Excellent stay, the apartment is impeccable, the location is ideal with all the amenities, and the host is attentive and proactive. I'm sure I'll be back.

My stay at this Airbnb was excellent. The hosts were very attentive from the start, always willing to help. The apartment is exactly as described: nice, comfortable and very central. The area is safe, with lots of things to do nearby, so the location is unbeatable. In addition, the building amenities are very good, and the building staff also took great care of us. I definitely hope to be able to return in the future, and I highly recommend it. Thank you for such a pleasant experience!

The place has a very good location. However, the experience had structural problems according to expectations, and the team provided good justifications, but a problem with justification, without a solution, is the same as a problem without a solution. 1. You need to have time for check-in. The dynamics of "the administration" and the processes that have to be followed are not clear, and it's a waste of time. 2. The cover photo of the reservation is of the social pool areas, which are out of use. So it applies to us. 3. There were ongoing maintenance issues that required follow-up or attention, and other people were coming to the house. It is understood that it is circumstantial, but that was not a solution. The place was nice, the beds were comfortable and the areas were spacious. However, the problems with logistics, coordination, and areas under maintenance were not part of the expectation and resulted in a very different experience than what was expected when making the booking.

The apartment fully met all expectations, standing out for its top-notch amenities and a truly prime location 📍. However, what really elevated our stay to a resort experience was Miss Polet's incredible service ✨. His attention to detail and hospitality exceeded all expectations; he made us feel welcome and cared for at all times, with exceptional professionalism. Definitely an 11/10 experience 💎. Highly recommended for those seeking excellence in every aspect of their stay.

Fantastic location!! Costco, City Market, restaurants, and high end shopping within a mile so definitely walkable. Alejandro and Polet were EXTREMELY responsive. PROs: - location, location, LOCATION - super quiet and safe neighborhood/area…great for families with small kids - apartment is very spacious and clean - enough spices, plates, pots and utensils - hosts are very responsive. Had a small issue and they sent maintenance crew immediately. - beds are firm and comfortable. Pillows were a little too soft/flat for my preference. CONs: - took a while for hot water to get hot - water pressure in showers weren’t great but manageable - getting to the apartment requires security guard to access the elevators for you every time (pro and con I guess) We had 6 people (4 adults and 2 kids) so the 1/2 bath was a game changer for us. All in all a great trip and great place to stay.

I really appreciate that you shared your apartment, very nice, safe and quiet, there are some works being done in the surrounding streets, but that is beyond your control. Thank you very much!

Host Response

Thank you so much for sharing your experience and for your kind words about the apartment, the security and the tranquility of the place 😊 We are happy to report that the construction on the surrounding streets has already been completed, so the excess dust has disappeared! We hope to welcome you again very soon.

Overall, a five-star stay! But some pros and cons to consider... Pros: * Responsive hosts, great communication * Clean, modern building with 24x7 security * Amazing views and awesome indoor heated pool * Several malls within walking distance... Miyana, Antara, El Palacio de Hierro Cons: * Apartment is in “new Polanco” and ~25 minute walk to reach “old Polanco” where all the best restaurants are located - if you want easy access to top restaurants, book a stay near Avenida Presidente Masaryk or in Condesa or Roma Norte * Roads around the building were closed and under construction, which required us to ‘get creative’ on where to call Uber or be dropped off. I recommend Corporativo Neuchatel or Padel Company as landmarks * Access entrance and use of elevators requires registration with an administration office which is only available certain hours. * Some confusion over having to “reserve pool access 48 hours in advance” per host. The security said that is only for other amenities

Spent 17 days at the property, great building, courteous personnel, easy access with hi security and ammenities. Had bad luck of 16 consecutive days raining and construction work being done all around, so mud and traffic were the norm. Noise not that bad, apartment in high floor so not a big deal. All furniture and appliences top notch in perfect working condition. Polet and Alexandro are responsive and helpful… we had a nice time there. Would recommend place for nice family vacation.

Not everything will always be perfect. However, I received almost immediate resolutions and answers to remedy a few details here and there. Although this was beyond the control of Airbnb, the pool was under repair for two days. Unfortunately, by the time it was ready, we could no longer use it. The security in the building is excellent. We're definitely going back. There are other Airbnbs in the more central area of Polanco with greater access to restaurants and shops, however, since I was with my daughter, we really enjoyed the amenities in the same building, especially on super rainy days. As a reference, we walked about 5 minutes to get to the Inbursa aquarium and about 9 minutes from Antara square. NOTE: There is a lot of construction and the surrounding streets are under repair. If you have a car, you better take that into consideration, because of the traffic and drive with caution because the potholes are massive. :)

The construction of the streets, a lot, mud on the street where you exit, the Ubers didn't want to enter the street and left us on the corner and we had to walk to the place, we went for the pool and it was never available and we weren't told about it in time, otherwise we wouldn't have rented there. It's a nice, quiet place, but I don't think it was a good time to be there, because of the construction in the area and because you can't use the facilities, like the pool or anything else, without making reservations. In the end, they tell you it's been under maintenance for a week.

1) Upon check-in , we found the apartment in impeccable condition. It is brand new, was squeaky clean with perfectly clean sheets, towels and toiletries to welcome us Very tastefully done interiors, welcoming vibe and super modern. 2) Polanco is a great neighbourhood, the building is super secure with 24*7 security and has incredible amenities such as gym, pool, kids playground etc. 3) The apartment’s kitchen is loaded with multiple cutlery, pots, pans, dishes to make your stay comfortable 4) Ultimate storage for longer stays 5) floor to ceiling windows providing incredible views of the city 6) The hosts were prompt to respond to every query, were super accommodating and helping. This property deserves a 10/10 if you’re in CDMX! Can’t wait to be back

Alejandro and his cohosts were amazing! Extremely responsive, proactive, and the instructions were clear. I also loved that there was security downstairs and in order to enter the building or go up to the floor you needed to check in with security. We had a small minor issue where the kitchen sink was not draining and they immediately tried to resolve it (within 10 minutes maintenance was there). I really appreciated that they let us check in early too! Rather than waiting for a check in time, they were flexible with us and this allowed us to get a quick nap in before hitting the sights and going out and about. The apartment is extremely nice with everything you might need. Pots, pans, plates, utensils, a few spices, fridge, stove, and amazing furniture. The beds, linens, towels, etc were all amazing. Would stay again. The ONLY VERY MINOR drawback, it’s a bit far from Roma, Condensa, and the Zocalo. You need to take an Uber between 15-30 minutes (but they’re super cheap).

Stayed here again last minute and great as always

Second time we have stayed in one of Alejandro's apartments in the same complex and we had a lovely stay. The place was clean, comfortable, and well-located, making it a great base for our trip. There were a couple of minor issues when we arrived, but the host responded immediately and made sure everything was taken care of quickly and professionally, which we really appreciated. Their communication was excellent throughout. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and would happily stay again!

Great location. Close to shops, restaurants and a nice grocery store. Great price for a three bedroom option with two and a half baths. Plenty of kitchen utensils and appliances available. Furniture was new and in good condition. This was a great place to stay. The only negative was the inattentive host who delagated management to co-hosts . The building owners were replacing the card access system and the host seemed to not be aware. This made it difficult and confusing to enter each time. We ended making friends with the security folks and they would just let us enter.. Same issue for the accessing the pool. The host required us to request daily pool access during certain windows of availability. This is a huge headache to be required to plan your day around something as simple as pool aceess. Even when we did manage to book the pool, the cards did not work. So, it was a waste of effort. If the host was better engaged, we would have no complaints.
