Good place!!

Kimberly’s place was a well managed and maintained house with lots of room. We were 4 couples and while only one bedroom had a king sized bed there was lots of room with other rooms having two beds each. Cool and airy, nice shared pool and a leg stretching walk to the beach club and tennis courts as well as into town. We had been to Chacala before but the other 3 couples hadn’t so it was fun to introduce them to town. They all liked the Casa and we all particularly loved having Paty cook for us for much of our three week stay. Kimberly was super responsive and took great care of our needs whenever we reached out. I have no hesitation in recommending Casa Almendra!

This place was so great! We traveled with our two teenage daughters. My mother and cousin and the space was perfect for us. We rented a golf cart through Chicago carts, which allowed us to get around Marina Chicola more easily and down into the town. With the exception of the bakery, which is terrific. The restaurants in town aren’t great for vegetarians, but we arranged to have meals cooked in the condo through Javier. And Paty’s cooking was a real highlight! We did not realize from the pictures how close the nearest pool was to the condo, it’s only about 30 feet away, which is terrific! We loved in the morning and going down to play cards overlooking the ocean by the pool just a few feet from our home. It’s 200 but you can thank you.

Our family had a great Christmas together at Kimberly’s place. The daily cleaning was wonderful to have and the place was sparkling after Paty was finished. The meals were amazing, and, again such a treat to have them prepared for us. The only disappointment was the problem with the pool water, which had been rectified by the last two days of our stay. Luckily, our four grandchildren loved the beach and playing in the waves. The shared pool was thoroughly enjoyed in the late afternoon after beach time when it was fixed. The Beach Club was very well maintained and the staff was incredibly hard working!

The Alamendras house is beautiful and super practical for families . We had a great time and hope to return soon ! Thanks to Javier for his attentions , always attentive to what we need ! Thank you also for recommending Paty who makes a few pays delis ! Super recommended .

We had a great stay at this Airbnb! The house manager Javier was fantastic and responsive, and the house cook Paty, was incredible too. Pros: Javier - he was great at handling all logistics (transportation, scheduling massages, scheduling boat trips, etc) , answering questions and providing recommendations Party - she's an amazing cook and I recommend her ceviche, chiliquiles, fish tacos, flan and tres leches The location - being in the marina meant access to the marina's private beach which had calmer waters and much less people than the public beach in chacala The House - It had wonderful charm Things to note: -Chacala is about 1.5 hours from PV, so unless you have your own car you need to be content to be in Chacala. -Highly recommend eating a few breakfasts at LaLaxti -Factor in cost of Golf Cart into your budget because you'll need it -Getting cash can be a challenge, the ATM was frequently empty Overall we loved our visit and are planning our return.

Kimberly's place in Marina Chacala was absolutely perfect for our family vacation (4 adults, 4 kids ages 3-9). The house is beautiful, Paty (house chef) was amazing, Javier (manager) was responsive and helpful, and the private beach club was idyllic. We really enjoyed getting to know the little town of Chacala as well, loved having lunch at the beach front restaurants while the kids hit the waves. Definitely would recommend!

Loved this place, great home for large families like mine looking for some rest and relaxation. If you stay here you have access to the private beach located within the community, or the public beach which is a quick drive/walk. I loved the tranquility of the private beach, but the public beach does have more to offer in terms of local restaurants and gift shops. The town of Chacala itself is very small, and keep in mind there are a lot of unpaved roads with steep streets if you plan on walking. We were able to explore the nearby beach towns of Rincón de Guayabitos and Sayulita which is great for tourists. Overall, we loved our stay and hope we can come back again one day!

Truly paradise. The accommodations and service were five star. The town is a diamond in the rough. If you’re lucky enough to be able to visit this area, stay here, you won’t be disappointed. Everything is walkable but I would recommend renting Kimberly‘s golf cart. It was very helpful. The kitchen is beyond stocked with everything you need. The house has all the basics needed for beach life. We couldn’t have been more grateful to be here. The staff was amazing. Patty made us an amazing dinner. Commutation with the host was very responsive and professional. She is a “super host” for good reason! The only downside was having to leave. Gracias para Todos. I love

My group of 10 was very happy with this booking. The house is even better than the pictures show. The community is beautiful and the view from the outdoor living space is breathtaking. Each of the bedrooms has a private bath, and the outdoor living space has a half bath. The beach club is a great bonus. Perhaps the best of all was Paty’s cooking. Book her for as many dinners (or any other meals) as you can. It was the best food we had on our entire trip!

This was a special birthday get away for my wife and it turned out amazing!!! The location and set up is absolutely beautiful. The house is set up to accommodate a good amount of people but the kitchen and dining area is next level. Open planned and keeps all of us together enjoying our time. Kimberly the host was extremely helpful in organising our stay. Javier the house manager was super and easy to message and help us with certain things we requested. The most special part of our stay was the chef the house suggested. Her name was Paty and hands down, she is the best Mexican cook we have ever seen. We have lived in Mexico for 5 years but she was just beyond what we expected. Fish tacos are a must! The ladies also helped clean each day and made us coffee. Absolute amazing stay. We will be back

The stay was very relaxing. We had three families including a senior and children. The kids loved the pool just steps away. The senior was in a wheelchair which was easy to use around the first level of the house. An issue came up with the dishwasher and the host was very responsive with someone showing up the next day. Beds were comfortable and rooms spacious even the rooms with two beds. A beautiful spot for a fun family reunion.

This place is amazing! It is better than described and we had an amazing stay. This was our first stay in Mexico without all the amenities of an "All-Inclusive" and we could not be happier. Javier was great and really made our stay easy and he was very reliable in scheduling our boat trips and checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. We would highly recommend Pati as your cook on a daily basis... she is wonderful! The beach club and pool were clean and well maintained... and we enjoyed how clean and casual it was. Chacala is a wonderful little village and we had a great time exploring some of the local establishments, but brush up on your Spanish as there are very few english speaking locals. Also, load up on your pesos... there is only 1 ATM in town and anything that is done through Javier requires cash at the end of your stay. We were not as prepared as we should have been although many of the restaurants accept credit cards, pesos are the best and least expensive form of payment. Kimberly was a wonderful host and checked in regularly to make sure our needs were met. We would definitely come back in the future!

Casa Almendro or Almendra is a perfect house to stay with your family. The downstairs rooms are both beautiful 2 full or queen size bed with a full restroom in both. Upstairs you have a masters bedroom with a full restroom , and one more bedroom with one full size bed. The house has a open yet homey feel to it. You have a full-size kitchen with the open dining room and living room area. The pool is a few steps away with a small tanning area. The house is surrounded by plants and trees that allows you to take in nature to the fullest. Also has one flat screen TV in the living room area , although you won’t need it plenty of things to do instead of watching tv. Minutes away from the town. When you book your stay make sure you request a cook you won’t be disappointed. Paty cooks breakfast , lunch and dinner. Whatever she makes is delicious. When in town make sure you stop at Depósito Aurora for drinks and snacks and Crepes from Silvias just ask someone they will tell you. Also homeowners leave you a little handmade gift. It’s the details for me♥️

Our plans changed because of covid and we wanted to find a safer place to stay. This place could not have been more perfect! Our hosts arranged and provided everything from a private shuttle from the airport to board games, snorkels, fresh new linens and handmade soaps and a spray all in the same luscious scent - and a gift bag! Once we arrived at the Villa we had complete privacy and safety in the gated community. We were surrounded by gardens with a pool in front and easy access to a private beach. The house was filled with special touches like Mexican textiles and fresh flowers. We did not want to leave and will be back!

What a peaceful and amazing stay at Casa Almendra in Marina Chacala. We came with our three daughters and were warmly greeted by Javier (local host). The home is well equipped and in the safe community of Marina Chacala. The rooms are all extremely spacious with beautiful linens and fresh towels for bath and beach! You feel like part of the Chacala family at Casa Almendra with amazing mornings, local bird, hearing the music from the town just below...it's all so magical. Walking to town for dinner, beach or shopping is so easy. Or along the beautiful walking trails of Marina Chacala. Javier was very available to us with our questions and assisted with private surfing lessons and banana boat rides. This week at Casa Almendra was so amazing for our family, one week.was not enough. We will be back!!! Thank you Kimberly!!!
