Everything was great! We were very comfortable in the apartment. We have already stayed there before and we always enjoy it a lot!

The apartment is excellent, very well equipped, with a breathtaking view. Everything is clean, and it is very spacious with all the amenities. The facilities are perfect, including the heated pools, with the pleasant surprise that you can enjoy them until 10 pm. A breathtaking view, and we had everything nearby within walking distance. We were just unlucky that one night there was a storm and water came in through the windows. It was reported, and they immediately sent technicians and cleaning staff. Thank you very much for everything, Eric. We hope to return soon.

The place is more beautiful in person than in the photos. It looks like a boutique hotel, with many beautiful common areas. All the bedrooms are very comfortable, and it's super equipped with a TV in the common area, a kitchen, and bathrooms. The view is simply unbeatable, and the service from Eric and the staff is very prompt and excellent. Cuco and Chef Jesús provided superior service. We went with my 2-month-old baby, 2 friends and 5 dogs, and we all had a great weekend!! We will definitely rent this house again without a doubt!

My family stayed at Erics condo for a month in February/March, 2026. When we arrived check-in was a breeze. The unit is quite large and the 6 of us were very comfortable during our stay. The view from this unit is spectacular! The deck is very large (larger than most in this complex). Morning coffee on the deck was the best. We did get groceries and ate in quite often during our stay. The kitchen was fully stocked with all of the pots and pans/dishes/utensils that we needed. This, is my experience with other Airbnb's, is unusual. The beds were comfortable and each of us having our own bathrooms was a treat. We did a lot of laundry during out stay and the washer and dryer in the unit worked well throughout our stay. When necessary, the air conditioners all worked well when you needed them. The staff at the admin office are wonderful. The thing that really impressed me was how quickly Eric would respond whenever I had a question. Would absolutely return in the future!

This was our second time booking Eric's condo. He has made good upgrades to the unit, such as new blinds and appliances. He is very easy to deal with, responds immediately and is a very thoughtful host.

We love saying at the Amara. Great location with the pool and beach. It’s an easy walk to the shops/restaurants. The condo is clean and just as described. Eric is a great host and always very responsive to anything we needed.

The view is amazing, the beach easily accessible, the onsite staff are helpful and very friendly. It felt like our home away from home for the month. We didn’t want to leave. Thank you.

Wow what a place. It’s so much dreamier than it seems in the photos, especially from the primary bedroom on the second floor. Impeccably clean, beautiful grounds, warm and clean pool, well stocked kitchen, stunning views. I already was expecting something beautiful and it exceeded my expectations. Every room was nice, and also considered (fan in every room for example, and bathroom supplies for every room). Cannot recommend enough, maybe my favorite Airbnb of all time

The pictures accurately portray this beautiful home. The views were breathtaking, with stunning sunsets everyday. The Condo was well stocked with plenty of dishes and utensils to cook delicious meals. Any issues were handled promptly by the Owner Eric and resolved as quickly as possible. One of the the things we appreciated most was that there was enough breeze during the evenings that we didn’t have to have the air conditioning on as we enjoyed the end of day activities. This was the best vacation we have ever had. The AMARA was outstanding. The pool is the best pool on the beach. The condo itself was well stocked and had plenty of space and seating for large families. We looked at many Amara condos and Eric’s is one of the best there is. Eric was available every step of the way to help with recommendations and troubleshooting. The cook Eric connected us with-Carolina-was the perfect addition to our family vacation. We only wish we could have stayed for the rest of the winter!! Our only complaint was very firm beds-we just got a mattress topper at colchina to help.

It was a pleasant stay, the gardener was especially friendly.

We have been to Ixtapa 3 times and this was by far the best. We stayed at Eric’s condo for one month and this is the best place on El Palmar beach. Beautiful clean infinity pools, amazing view and the location is perfect close to everything. The staff here are so friendly! The picture dont even show how beautiful this place really is. Eric was so helpful with any questions we had. The all inclusive next door Krystal is very noisy at night but ours was very peaceful. We will be back next year and booking again as soon as our dates are available. Thank you Eric for a memorable month!

Everything is very clean, beautiful view and very comfortable.

This is a stunning hacienda-style Airbnb that was immaculately clean, earning a well-deserved 5 stars. The staff was incredibly attentive and flexible throughout our stay. Several excellent restaurants are easily within walking distance, with the town center also reasonably accessible on foot (even with kids as young as 5 years old they were still able to walk to town). The host's responsiveness was top-notch. Highly recommend for a memorable trip!

The house was simply stunning. Our group has traveled all over the world and everyone agreed this is one of the nicest airbnbs we have ever stayed in. The views were amazing and the interior courtyard was so well tended. The photos do the place justice, but still this place is worth it! The area was quiet and we were still able to walk into town or grab a local cab. Eric was super friendly, very helpful, and always responsive. He helped us leading up to the trip and all through our stay - excellent service. We would highly recommend this place, no one wanted to leave! In fact we were there for four days and we spent most of our time relaxing on the property. This place is kinda magical.

From my very first contact with Eric several months before our stay, I found that Eric responded immediately to any queries. Once we arrived in his condo, we had a few questions which he immediately addressed. He is a very thoughtful host who makes sure that his guests are well taken care of. He went out of his way to make arrangements for special dinners for us among other thing that made our stay very enjoyable. His cleaning staff does a good job as well. Eric's place is architecturally unique and beautiful, with a fantastic view of the mountains standing right above the house. The unique design of the house surrounding a central garden is great for families or groups.

We had an excellent stay here. Eric was responsive answering all questions we had even before we booked the condo unit and was great at meeting our special requests. When we arrived the AC unit wasn't working in the kitchen, Eric had it replaced the very next morning. The Amara is the best condo complex on the beach, fewer luxury units so the commons areas are not as crowded, even on the busiest days, we could always find a place to be alone. The pools and grounds are immaculately kept and the beach is the best in the world, can't beat the sunsets. Eric's condo is on the 8th floor, centered on the building and has an extra larger balcony than most units. Condo looked just like the pictures and was in perfect condition. We're already booking our stay here for next year.

This place was a total dream! 10 friends and I came for the weekend up from Mexico City and had a wonderful, relaxing time. The house itself is incredibly beautiful — one of the most amazing architectural feats I’ve seen. It’s nestled in the mountains so you have a view from everywhere (and especially the pool, which was heated). The staff were so accommodating, friendly, helpful, and attentive. The rooms were comfortable, spacious, and clean. Tepotzlan has so much to offer as a pueblo magico and we were so reticent to leave this place since it was so fun to hang out in! Eric was a very responsive and accommodating host. He let us check in early and gave wonderful recommendations for restaurants. We highly recommend Parcela, which is a 10 minute walk from the airbnb.

This house is really perfect for large groups, with lots of bedrooms and lots of communal space and sitting areas. The house is very well maintained, simple and clean. The beds were all very comfortable and we loved how the pool had multiple levels/depths which made traveling with small kids that much more comfortable. The view from the pool is also spectacular. Eric was very responsive and helped me with all details for the trip which were very specific since we were traveling with 3 toddlers. The house staff was great and attentive as well. We paid for cooking services every day and the food was simple but good. Thank you Eric for a wonderful stay!

Best spot to book with friends. It's probably the most beautiful place we've stayed at - nature, design, lighting, fireplace, all exquisite. A complete experience. You're not going to want to leave the house.

The house is beautiful and super well laid out, it just needs an electric car charger since we noticed that it is a sustainable house and we use a Tesla.

I came here to celebrate my birthday with 8 other friends and it was amazing! There was tons of space and everything was incredibly clean. The photos don't do it justice, it was even more beautiful in real life. It's secluded and about a 15-minute drive into town, but we were able to take taxis in when we wanted (which wasn't much because we didn't want to leave the place)! Eric was incredibly helpful both leading up to the trip and throughout. He provided contacts for taxis, created a food menu, arranged a chef to take care of meals, checked in on us, and more! His staff was lovely and everyone made us feel incredibly safe and comfortable. I wish I could have just moved in -- truly heaven on earth!

Very nice apartment, super comfortable and Eric was very kind, he took care of us at all times. We were there during the low season for the condominium and we practically had the pools and lounge chairs to ourselves. Each room has its own bathroom, in short, a very cool apartment, I would definitely come back.

La Hacienda was spectacular. It’s a modern property with great amenities and the staff was super helpful. The layout is great for 2 families and the kids were entertained playing ping pong, board games and swimming in the pool. Eric’s communication was fast, efficient helpful. I would definitely stay here again. It was conveniently located near the wedding venue where we celebrated with friends. What an excellent stay!

I recently returned to NYC after a magical week at Eric’s beautiful property. My wife and I used the stunning home as our base camp for our wedding week in Tepoztlan. From my 70 year old parents to my 5 year old nephew we are all giving this hacienda a 5 star review. My nephew was never out of the pool and the home offers a variety of spaces for everyone to relax. It is truly a one off experience. The view from the master suite of the Tepoztlan mountains every morning is breathtaking. Eric and his team were exceptional hosts, the option of a chef and housekeeper we would highly recommend too. They were warm and accommodating to all of our needs. The garden is excellently maintained and alive with life which offered excellent company during our stay. Eric was always on hand for questions or concerns in the build up to the stay and throughout our time there. The listing does not do this home justice, the house has everything and was the perfect place for the most important week of my life so far. We do not know when we will be back in Tepoztlan but I can assure you there is only one place I would want to stay when I return. Thank you
