Beautiful place to spend time with family and friends

It is a very nice house and is equipped with everything you need to enjoy a few relaxed days in Oaxaca, it has a very good location. The cleanliness of the place is excellent, in addition to being very well equipped with everything you might need. The host is very attentive and they are always ready to help and answer any questions. I recommend it 100% in every aspect. We would gladly stay again.

We were 19 family members - 14 stayed here and 5 at Casa Copal, nearby. The big house was our "headquarters" and we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was very clean, and there was plenty of room for a large group to gather, plus lots of quiet spots for those who wanted to read or recharge. Thoughtfully, it had been decorated for Christmas. The house and gardens are beautiful and we enjoyed the pool and ping pong outdoors.. The kitchen was extremely well stocked with all the cookware and utensils to prepare a meal for 20 people. And we were all able to sit down at one table! In terms of location, many of of enjoyed the walk to el centro (about 35 minutes), and taxis were very easy to call. Special thanks to Marco, the groundskeeper, who answered our many questions. And to Rebeca who was extremely responsive from when we first booked the house and through the whole process, including on Christmas day when one of our group needed medical attention. We hope to return!

It really is the prefect place for a friends or a family reunion. The wonderful pool and beautiful plants in addition to how incredibly spacious it is. It’s definitely spectacular in that respect. The kitchen is large and nice to cook in but sink area and lack of dishwasher is a weak point. The neighborhood is fairly noisy at night with dogs barking. Although there are also beautiful sounds as well, birds, roosters and donkeys. I felt the price was too high for what it is. But I don’t regret our stay. I’m thinking there are not a lot of places available on Airbnb that can offer the space, pool and ambiance. Heads up after you reserve you find that there are almost 2,000. additional fees, 1/2 for Airbnb and 1/2 for taxes, so overall it’s a chunk of money for a week for a family to spend. Rebecca was very responsive after we arrived and Marco who showed us around upon arrival was a sweetheart. The people of Oaxaca are very kind. Taxis are easy to find, DiDi app is great.

This was hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in my entire life. I wish I lived here. This is a place that I recommend anyone to bring their entire family. It’s located in a quiet, secluded area and is a 10 min taxi ride to all the nearby attractions of El Centro. It’s also super safe!

Great compound. Ample spaces and bedrooms. Well equipped with everything we needed including double washer/dryer which was handy at the ned of a 10-day trip across Mexico. not much to do in the area but it's a 15 min taxi ride to the center. Very comfortable abd recommended.

This place is beautiful, the house is beautiful furnished , the location near stores and restaurants great view to the city. We where pleased to stay in this house . Recommended 100%

We can’t imagine a better place to stay with a group of people. The shared space (living area, kitchen, dining area, pool, courtyard) are spacious and lovely. The individual rooms are really large and most have their own bathrooms. The decor is beautiful and homey, Rebeca was a great host, was SUPER responsive, and the home was stocked with everything we needed. We were lucky enough to be here for Día de los Muertos with a cemetery celebration right at the end of the street. There is a market nearby and taxis were plentiful just a block away from the house. The cost to the zocalo via taxi was around 120-150 pesos depending on the time of day. We loved this home and would definitely stay there again.

We loved this place and would stay here again. Beautiful home and in a nice area and secluded from the surroundings, yet very close to everything. Felt very safe as the outside gate to the property locked. It was nice to gather together in the main house but also have our separate rooms to go to and relax. Marco (who maintains the home) met us when we arrived and showed us around. He was so helpful and came almost daily to clean the pool, purchase water for us and take out trash. He was also great at answering our questions about the area and transportation etc.

Juan's family home is lovely. There are actually two living spaces. The main home has 2 large bedrooms, kitchen, and beautiful common areas for gathering. Across the yard in the back are the additional four large bedrooms. We found the home clean, pool refreshing, & the neighborhood great for walking into town. We especially enjoyed the Xochimilco neighborhood!

Absolutely incredible place. The entire place is so spacious. We stayed a week in January with 14 people - 8 adults and 6 kids. Everyone had their own space and there are multiple common areas to relax in. The kids loved the pool. The kitchen is one of the most well stocked kitchens I have ever been in. It had every tool and pot/pan known to man! Great place for cooking. The caretaker - Marco - even got us a grill so we could cook outside in the top courtyard. The views from the main house are amazing. The bedrooms are large and nicely laid out and there are plenty of bathrooms. Overall, a wonderful experience!

This is a special place. It gives you space, a pool and family touches. 10 mins from town by plentiful taxis, quiet, easy access to surrounding Oaxaca hills for runs or walks. Very well appointed. Absolutely recommended for a big group.

Great house with nice size lot, great pool and lots of living areas. The rooms were nice and spacious. The access to downtown Oaxaca was easy. We were a big family and it worked great for us.

beautiful place. somewhat away from downtown oaxaca but still within a short drive to enjoy the festivities and tours. keep in mind though that this is more like a "casa de campo" so not a city house per say so little insects are here and there but nothing major. it still is a very nice property and we had a wonderful stay. great hosts! thank you!

This is a charming and rustic house in the neighborhood of San Felipe del Agua, a short drive from the town center. (It's not necessary to rent a car as taxis can easily be called and are not expensive.) The neighborhood is quiet and lovely, with wonderful restaurants and a local market within walking distance. The house is private and has well-tended grounds. It was ideal for a large group, with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area. We used the fireplace and plenty of wood was stocked. This is not a luxury experience but certainly a great value and very clean, comfortable and spacious. We had a wonderful time here!

Rebeca was a FABULOUS hostess! She helped us in so many ways and really made sure our visit was special. The house is even more beautiful than in the pictures!!

This villa is much prettier than even the photos! We adored how comfortable it was and all the personal touches- you could tell that this place was loved by a family. We particularly loved the great art everywhere and the garden! So beautiful! We were only a family and a couple traveling, but we easily could have invited many more friends. It was only a very short drive to downtown Oaxaca making it perfect for the convenience of being so close, but still having quiet and parking! Rebeca was the absolute perfect host, extremely responsive and helpful and the caretakers were wonderful too. Can not wait to come back!

This house is amazing especially for a large group. I couldn’t have asked for a better setup for my 40th birthday. At first it felt like it might be a problem to get into the city but just download the DiDi ridesharing app and you’re good. Highly recommend this house and the views were picturesque.

Juan’s place looks even better than the pictures. It is absolutely spectacular. Every piece of the property is well taken care of and has amazing energy around it. It was perfect for our yoga retreat and we can’t wait to be back.

The best option in Oaxaca for a great experience together with your family. Upon arrival we found everything in perfect condition and very clean, we were always attended to when we needed it and Mr. Marcos was very attentive to our requests. The house is huge; having many rooms and common areas, it lends itself to family gatherings where you can spend time together or also have moments alone. The pool area is super nice and has a balcony ideal for hanging out, the landscape is unreal, incredible. We always had everything we needed to make our stay perfect. Thank you very much Rebe for your delivery and for always answering our questions before our arrival. I highly recommend it.

The house is much nicer than the pictures show, super Christmas details. The person who helped us (Marco) was super friendly. And communication with Rebe was very good. Happy to return soon

This house is fantastic. Everyone was so thrilled when they saw it, and the rooms are enormous. We were a family of 10 and it has everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay. Lots of pillows, loads of big warm blankets for the cool evenings, giant tv, and a fully loaded kitchen with everything a family could ever need. Our host was absolutely fantastic about helping us find a private driver for the week and answering any questions (and requests!) we had. 10/10 would recommend and will stay again if we can ever rally the entire family again. Cheers!

Highly recommended, just as shown on the page, in fact it exceeds it, huge and beautiful house totally Oaxaca style, peace and quiet, garden and fabulous green areas, the pool, everything you need in the kitchen, large bedrooms, etc. etc! 100% attention from the owners and Marco, who cleans the garden and the pool, is also super attentive. The house is very well located, exactly as shown in the pictures. Clean, with everything you need in the kitchen. The staff who looked after us were very friendly, and the host service was also very good.

Can’t wait to come back. Amazing property, pool was great, beds were comfortable, not hard to access from centro, overall amazing stay and value. We will be back.

Awesome host! Took 2 stars off as it’s a bit far from the zocalo but very nice and quiet. Place is great, had great time with the family. I would not hesitate to stay again, host rocks!
