I highly recommend Denise’s place! The location is amazing, the home is cozy, and it has everything you need to enjoy your stay in Costa Rica. Above all, Denise and Thomas are incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. I loved staying here—amazing beaches are just minutes away, and I even got to see a baby white-tailed deer while walking to the beach! I’m a local, and honestly, this place is unmatched.

The apartment is very nice and has all the amenities; the location is private and safe, within walking distance of the beach and restaurant options. The hosts' service is excellent; they are very attentive and helpful. We recommend it 100%; this is our second time staying here, and we will be back.

We spent 6 days at the accommodation, and it was great. Comfortable bed, clean and well-equipped accommodation. Denise and Thomas are very friendly and offer great advice. Thank you again for your thoughtful touches! The property is located in a kind of small, secure town with private access to 3 beautiful beaches, which is a big plus. Tamarindo is also a 20–25-minute drive away for a bit more entertainment. I recommend it!

Excellent place, quiet, clean, and safe, located within Hacienda Pinilla.

Denise and Tommy were the best hosts! We couldn’t ask for more, they are extremely nice and attentive, they also were extra nice and helpful with us throughout our stay! Would love to go back!

We stayed with Denis for a few days at the start of our trip at the end of February. They were great host and even brought us some pastries one night when they were coming back from town! The location is in a gated community with access to multiple beaches, stores and restaurants within a few minute drive. It’s close enough to the touristy Tamarindo if that’s what you want but far enough away to avoid as well. Great spot!

Denise and Tom were wonderful hosts! The apartment was clean and comfortable and the pool and backyard were beautiful! We were in Hacienda Pinilla for our wedding and were using the apartment to stay before/after the event and as a transition space. They were so flexible and easy going with our relatively unusual needs and they are SO kind, responsive and helpful. We hope to be back!

Weve been using Airbnb for quite some time. Denise and Tommy are, by far, the best Airbnb hosts. From the quick responses to any request/question, to the special delivery of pastry, they went beyond any host expectations on our part. The nearby beaches are spectacular and we found great restaurants a little north and south of Hacienda Pinillia. Don't hesitate.

Denise and Tom were such warm and welcoming hosts. From our late (ish) arrival to our morning departure, they could not have been more helpful. The stay was perfect. We wanted quiet and beautiful surroundings, with the opportunity to golf, cycle and walk the forest and beach trails. Everything is right on your doorstep. * Take note birders, if seeing red Macaws almost daily interests you, come here! Another highlight was spotting a Northern Potoo in a tree in the backyard. The space is charming, clean and well equipped for vacation needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this vacation home. 10++ in every way. Thank you Denise and Tom.
