We cannot begin to describe how we enjoyed our stay in this fantastic villa. What an amazing vibe. Everything you could ask for. Superb living space that just cried out for sharing with close friends and family. We can thoroughly recommend this wonderful home. WOW!! Hands down the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had! We celebrated a birthday with family at Nicolás property. Every detail from the minute we booked until the last day of our stay was flawless! The house staff is amazing. We wanted for nothing. They prepared the most delicious and fresh meals. Even decorated beautifully for a special birthday dinner that we arranged at the house. The house is lovely and is in the perfect location for getting around easily.

I stayed at Nicolás beautiful home with my family and one other family (so 4 adults and 4 kids). The home is about a 10 minute walk to the center of town/ There is a very private entrance, with a large driveway that is gated and secured. The home is large, and had plenty of space for everyone to relax and play. The pool is such a refreshing break after a morning of exploring! The staff at the home took care of all our requests and needs - a true vacation! From stocking the fridge with drinks before we arrived, offering poolside drinks and snacks, daily breakfast, doing laundry, calling for taxis, and one night the staff made dinner for us after a full day of touring. I wouldn't hesitate to return and recommend a stay to anyone else!

We had an unbelievable stay. This house is the perfect location, a few minutes walking to the centro so you’re not in the busy touristy area. But close to all of the amazing restaurants and stores. The living room view with the pool was our favorite place to hang. 10/10, we will be back!

We had an amazing stay here with 4 adults and 4 teenagers. The house is beautiful, very spacious, and yet very close to the Centro area. Luis and the staff were great and everyone loved the variety of breakfasts they prepared. The pool was also very nice to relax in on the warm afternoons.

Wow. Just wow. This is by far the best Airbnb I have ever stayed at. We stayed here with four couples for my birthday celebration and everything was perfect. The house is huge and even more beautiful than the photos. Nicolas was very responsive leading up to our arrival, and the staff was so kind and helpful. Breakfast every day was lovely, and they also cooked dinner on our arrival night at our request which was so good and it was great to have this option so we did not have to go out the first night. Beds were comfortable, linens spotless, and our rooms were cleaned every day with fresh towels. Every one of our guests commented on how nice the accommodations were. It really felt like staying at a 5 star hotel but with the intimate, relaxed feel of a private compound. More than 5 stars! Highly recommend.

Oaxaca at Christmastime is a delightful festival--and this art-filled home is the perfect place to enjoy the season. It is a spectacular respite from the lively streets and markets. The house is gorgeous and spacious, providing every comfort. The service from the kind staff is impeccable. The location is unbeatable--near enough to walk to most museums, restaurants and shops--yet completely private and secure in an elegant compound. And Nicolás was a responsive and very helpful host. Our family loved every minute of our stay.

We loved Nicolas’ place! The space was beautiful and very relaxing. We enjoyed breakfast in the mornings and swimming in the pool during the day. Nicolas was so accommodating from providing transfers from the airport to the Airbnb to allowing us to store our luggage after checkout while we were on a day long tour. We appreciate Nicolas and the staff. Definitely a highlight of the trip!

Amazing big house in Oaxaca. Very friendly staff

House is absolutely beautiful. Secluded, private and secure. The staff is excellent. The house manager can handle anything you throw at him, the breakfasts every morning were delicious and the house was spotless. The location is perfect. Close to downtown so everything is walkable, but removed enough to be quiet at night. We loved the pool. Highly recommended for a stay in Oaxaca!

The photos and description sounded too good to be true - but they weren’t! This home exceeded expectations and we had a peaceful, wonderful, and beautiful experience. There was a butler who met us at the home, a security guard on duty at all times. The home was very private and secure and looked as if we were the first guests to ever stay. Our group felt pampered and so well taken care of. Nicolas was always so responsive, accommodating and it was very comforting knowing we had someone to help us should we need it. Couldn’t recommend this home more!

This is a very special house. It's an easy walk to anything you want to do in the historic core, yet you feel miles away from the bustle. The rooms are spotless and well-decorated, the pool is an oasis, and the gardens are gorgeous. But our favorite part was the staff. They were kind and knowledgeable and took enormous pride in their work. Every breakfast is delicious and accompanied with a new centerpiece for the day... a small detail, but it shows how much they care. Nicolas is also extremely responsive and able to arrange tours with excellent local guides and drivers. Finally, the house is a perfect layout for a group of couples because each of the guest rooms is private with an ensuite bathroom yet the central entertaining spaces are so lovely that people are drawn out of their rooms. Long story short... it's one of the best places we have every stayed.

Beautiful house in the center of Oaxaca! A private oasis near all of the restaurants and sights. The staff was very friendly host and always responsive to our needs. The house is spacious and well laid out to accommodate larger groups or families. Every morning we enjoyed delicious breakfast prepared for us by the staff. I appreciated all of the thoughtful details, like helping us find a local masseuse and setting out different wooden figurines for each meal.

This house was AMAZING- a must stay in Oaxaca. The space, location, gardens were top notch. The staff at the house was next level. Highly highly recommend. We’ll be back!!

We feel privileged to have enjoyed this beautiful home over the New Year. The house is stunning with great care in the decor and a beautiful art collection. Breakfast was wonderful, the location perfect, and Nicolas was an extremely helpful and responsive host. He arranged airport transportation and a lovely dinner on the night we arrived. The staff at the home was very helpful and arranging local transportation was always seamless. We would not hesitate to stay here again on our next trip to Oaxaca. Perfection!

Fantastic stay!! Highly recommend for any family visiting Oaxaca. Location is perfect, easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go around town, tons of restaurants/bars/cafes all around. House is beautiful and we even had two chefs and a house manager helping us and they were all wonderful. Pool was great. Communication with Nicolas was perfect. Very safe area and house even has a guard at the entrance. Perfect spot will stay there next time for sure!

Nicolas was an excellent host and we enjoyed his beautiful home which was located in a great area near many shops, markets and restaurants. His staff was beyond amazing and he helped us curate and organize an amazing trip which included meeting many artisans in different villages and eating at the best restaurants. He was so helpful every step of the way. We can't wait to go back to beautiful Oaxaca and this property!

This was the perfect house for our family. Beautifully decorated, the staff was amazing. Couldn’t ask for a better location to walk everywhere. The host set up a driver to pick us up with a car seat. Crib was waiting. Will book again for a friends trip. Thanks!

The house is ideally located and very secure. It’s large enough for a big family. Very well appointed and comfortable. The best part of the home is the staff! They were very helpful and the breakfasts were one of the best I ever had while traveling. We will be planning to come back soon!

We had the absolutely best week possible because of this beautiful home, the magical pool and gardens, the location, and most of all Jose Luis, Ascuncion and Minerva who helped us with so many things all week long. We were there for a special family event and needed a place where everyone could feel relaxed and have a calm spacious room for naps and work, but also a place that has wonderful communal spaces and was walkable to town. I wondered if such a place even existed, but here it is. This house is soooo beautiful and you can feel the spirit of warmth and kindness the minute you enter. The pool was fabulous on hot afternoons with two babies. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. I feel deep gratitude to Nicolaz and his people.

We had a great stay. We were a group of five friends in town for five nights. We loved the property and highly recommend it. It is very close to the center and walkable to all sites. The property itself is stunning and even better in person than the pictures. There was plenty of room to socialize as well as enjoy the pool. Jose Luis made a wonderful breakfast each day and we were also able to coordinate a driver through the house. We plan to come back to Oaxaca and will definitely want to stay here again.

Casa Cochita is a flawless jewel. The house is in the best part of the City and close to the restaurants, galleries, cultural institutions, churches and shops that you will want to visit. The house has a guarded and gated entrance and excellent security. Architecture-designed, the house itself is elegant and beautiful. The rooms are spacious and elegant. It is likely staying in an artist-curated space. The outdoor areas are spacious and lovely. The pool is wonderful and the small gym a rare bonus. If all this were not enough, the staff could not be more professional, helpful and delightful. They provide delicious food, keep the house impeccably clean and are a knowledgeable resource about Oaxaca. The house has an expensive daily rate; but if you can afford it, you will only be grateful to have made this choice.

This home was absolutely perfect for our group (7 adults, celebrating a milestone birthday). The actual home itself (The light! The en suite bathrooms! The space! The pool!) was amazing, but the real treat was the staff. Jose Luis, Minerva, and Sylvia were top notch on every level. Breakfasts each morning were authentic and extremely delicious. There was never an empty plate or coffee mug. Friendly, helpful, and thoughtful (they brought my sister a cake and had a sign for her birthday) they were one of the best parts of our trip...such a pleasure! We fell in love with the magic of Oaxaca, which was so easy in the neighborhood the home is located in. We were able to feel immersed in the city center and what it had to offer, but removed enough for quiet relaxation. Nicolaź (the host) was extremely responsive and helpful. With him, we were able to organize transportation to the sites around the city (Sunday Market, Monte Alban) and the airport. It truly helped us experience the food, culture, and best of all the people. This will hopefully not be the last time my family has the pleasure of staying at Nicolaź's home in Oaxaca...we are hooked!

The house is incredible-a secret hideaway in the heart of Oaxaca. The pictures do not compare to how beautiful, well-appointed, and luxurious the house is. It is full of joyful surprises that kept us in a state of delight. Nicolas was very responsive as a host, and the house staff attentive to all our needs. The service, cooking, and attention to detail all surpassed expectation. We cannot recommend this property more highly and look forward to returning soon!

I want to tell you that it is a beautiful house, full of many handmade and artistic details. Top-notch service, excellent cleaning. I hope to be able to return to this beautiful place many times and meet such friendly and helpful people. The location is the best because it is located in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods of the city and a few blocks away from the historic center.

A magnificent experience, both the location and the architecture of the house. Excellent service, clean, well-kept and decorated. Breakfast on time and very tasty. The manager is a first-class person, respectful and with good comments and recommendations. The pool, ideal. The house has very nice details (paintings, and Mexican crafts) in a very nice architectural environment, with greenery and two beautiful trees in the middle of the courtyard. Absolutely recommended. I really rested, three or four blocks from Santo Domingo, in an environment of tranquility.
