Hi Nathan, Thank you for your review. I’m sorry to hear that the sounds of nature, like the monkeys and roosters, made you uncomfortable. These are part of the experience in rural neighborhoods across Costa Rica and much of Central America, where the natural environment remains vibrant and untouched by excessive development. If you stayed longer, you might have had more time to adapt to and appreciate this unique setting. I’m glad you found the house to be great and exactly as expected, though I noticed the proximity to the beach wasn’t mentioned. Being able to step right onto the beach and enjoy it any time is a rare and special privilege, one that many travelers cherish. While I understand my place might not suit everyone, it offers a truly authentic experience for those who value nature and tranquility.
