5BR Cabin in Huasca de Ocampo

Xoch

Excellent, 3 weeks ago

Our stay at the cabin in El Tunal was excellent. It's a beautiful, quiet and perfect place to disconnect and enjoy nature. The cottage was clean and comfortable, and the atmosphere was very welcoming from the moment we arrived. We really enjoyed the tranquility, the scenery, and every moment of our stay. It's definitely a place we'd love to go back to. Highly recommended for those looking to rest, relax and spend some unforgettable days!

Everything's great, I recommend it 100%. The cabin is very nice, and the layout of the bedrooms and beds is very good. I can only say that the images are a perfect match. Thank you Hugo for your kindness.

Host Response

Always giving the best to guests and making them feel at home

The stay is perfect if someone wants to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of the city. The villa is beautiful and cozy. You can light the fireplace, the outdoor fire pit, the barbecue... the weather... Huasca is very nice. The rooms are spacious, in general the villa is beautiful. However, there were only 2 things... 1.- In one room (the door on the left of the upper level) there is a leak that is exactly at the height of the pillow and that woke me up. 2.- There are not enough things for the kitchen and we suffered a little. Other than that, it was an excellent decision and the host was always attentive

Very nice cabin with all the amenities described in the publication, very cozy and with a large plot. The center of Huasca is very close as well as the basalt prisms and the trout forest, it is a very good accommodation. Hugo is a very good host, he responds quickly and with clear instructions. Perfect to enjoy with your friends or family, there was always hot water and gas for the stove, undoubtedly a very good place to enjoy and get away from the city. The only thing I could say for the arrival at the cabin, Google maps sent us somewhere else and we had to go around to get to the correct entrance, as a recommendation do not enter through the dirt road entrance but through the cobblestone one, once there there are signs indicating the place with easy access and nice views.

We liked the place… we didn't love the area so much, because it was a bit far from downtown… (keep in mind that we were on a motorcycle) maybe in a vehicle it would have been different, because being a magical town everything is cobbled… we took a taxi for three people and he charged us $280 pesos because it was far and night (11pm)… and the next day (in the morning) he charged us $80 because it was already daytime.. it's rude of them.. but in general the apartment is beautiful.. Hugo is a good person, he tried to answer my questions as soon as possible … it's a beautiful place to relax for a weekend, bring food and stay there, delicious and with a fire pit.

We came to know the village of huasca, the basaltic prisms both are 10 minutes from the accommodation! so its location is perfect. The rooms are very good, the living room and kitchen with everything you need. They have a fireplace inside and out to enjoy, as well as the grill left 10 for the occasion. Apart the hot water is never missing for the 13 people we were there. Something to note is the space I had was huge so our puppies were able to run freely, we were able to play for a while in the free air and even camping with the permission of the owner. The area is very quiet, you can hear parties in the distance but they do not bother since the cabanas are very far from each other. The only concern is that a bit of fencing is needed to prevent the dogs in the area from accessing the place as some were not fully friendly. Outside I think we spent a very cozy night, that we would return again without problems. 100% RECOMMENDED
