Rosa María

This was our second time staying at Rosa Maria’s home, and it was just as wonderful as the first time. Spacious home in beautiful neighborhood, peaceful, and impeccably clean. My family and I had a wonderful time, and look forward to returning to Rosa Maria’s home in the near future.

What a beautiful home!! Loved the house and the garden in the back. Rosa Maria and her sister Maida are incredible hosts! Great communication and it's obvious this home means a lot to them. I feel privileged to have stayed in their house. It will be my first choice when returning to San Angel!

Beautiful, pristine house in a quiet, quaint, and walkable neighborhood. The house felt like home, and Rosa Maria was always very responsive. It was nice to be able to walk for a good cup of coffee every morning and go to the bazar del sábado to see the art on Saturday. Would stay there again.

This house is beautiful! So many great spaces with great decoration. We loved the art around the house. The location is excellent, all services walking distance, one of the most beautiful places in the city. The place has everything you might need, in perfect condition. The cleaning service was a great plus!

Rosa Maria's home is beautiful, cozy and lovely. We gathered there over the holidays and it was the perfect place for us. Rosa and Magda were wonderful hosts, so helpful and very accommodating. The housekeeper was great, the house was spotless. We have had a love for the neighborhood of San Angel and it didn't disappoint. It is incredibly charming and great for waking around, the traditional Saturday Market is really fun. An experience we will always remember. Thank you Rosa Maria!

The house is beautiful and very spacious, the garden is super cute and very well kept, we really enjoyed it. Rosa Ma was always helpful. Mrs. Maria, who helps with the cleaning, is super nice and also made our stay very pleasant. We highly recommend it!

Beautiful, spacious house in a really lovely part of CDMX. (San Angel is a little out of the way and not convenient to the metro, but we loved it there.) Our hosts were very responsive and accommodating. We didn’t want to leave!

This is the second time we stay at Rosa María’s and it the best choice we have found to feel safe and be close to our family with the beautiful backyard she has. Maria is the best and she keeps the house impecable! This house is either near or well connected to everything you can imagine. The neighborhood is so calm that you don’t feel in the city at all. Great place!

Rosa Maria’s house is a dream specially in this time. Her beautiful and spacious garden made it possible for our kids to see our family and enjoy our time in Mexico since we didn’t go out that much. The house is super spacious and has everything you need on a daily basis. It’s beautifully decorated and the housekeeper (Maria) does an amazing job at keeping it tidy and spectacularly clean. She is super nice too and made an effort to come an open the house for us when we arrived. She always made us feel welcome. Kitchen is well equipped and we even got a welcome kit with some basics like eggs, milk and bread. There is a lot of room everywhere and it even has a small gym. The rooms are super spacious. The location is perfect since it has access to all the main areas of the city and the main streets. The street is quiet but very close to a beautiful and classic área where there are lots of shops , restaurants, mall….. Rosa María was an amazing host. She made sure we were comfortable and happy all the time during our stay. She was available all the time and helped us whenever we needed something. After two years of not seeing friends and family this was the best place to reconnect and make lots of great memories. We would recommend her and her house for sure and hope we can come back soon!

This home is an absolute paradise. It is enormous, spotlessly clean, and beautifully decorated. We are VERY picky about accommodations and this home is simply perfection! We used Uber to get around, and we enjoyed walking around the gorgeous neighborhood. Our two sons (ages 4 and 7) had so much fun in the amazing garden. Do not hesitate to book this lovely home! We will recommend it to all of our friends!

Rosa Maria's house is beautiful, kept very clean and elegantly decorated. Rosa Maria and her sister are great hosts, they responded quickly to accommodate our check-in/check-out needs. Also, the house is located in a nice neighborhood, close to museums, lovely plazas, restaurants and the beautiful university. My family and I had a lovely stay at Rosa Maria's house.

The house is even prettier than the pictures. Beautiful! Communication with Rosa Maria was excellent. The neighborhood of San Angel, with its cobblestone streets and many restaurants, reminds me of the colonial city of La Antigua in Guatemala. Highly recommended!

The narrow cobblestone lanes of San Angel create a lovely buffer from the big city hustle, bustle and traffic. You even feel further removed by stretching out in a hammock in the shade of flowering trees outside in the high walled garden. While attending to a project for my business in Mexico City, my family occupied this lovely spot for several weeks. We used every space in the house including an office where I set up home base, dining room where we hosted friends and relatives for meals, and a private gymnasium with porch. The home is spacious, decorated with lovely art, secured by 24 hour watchmen whose whistle you can hear as they make their nightly rounds. Sra. Lulu is also a big, big plus. She not only keeps the premises spotless, but is available to help you take care of household chores for a reasonable additional cost. Cooking meals, washing and ironing clothes, going to the supermarket are ways she really made our stay additionally enjoyable. Being in San Angel is also a plus since it is crisscrossed by major avenues with Uber the press of a button away. Restaurants, shopping and museums in San Angel are also very convenient. First of all, the house is beautiful! Even more beautiful than the pictures. My family and I were so sad that to leave, we will be staying longer next time we come to visit Mexico. The house is perfect for a family, plenty of space with a beautiful backyard. The housekeeper Raquel went above and beyond to exceed our needs, she was so sweet along with Lulu. The house is perfectly located, the location is close to restaurants and on Sundays they do a little art walk very cute! We will be staying here again for sure! Beautiful, impeccably kept home in a lovely historic neighbourhood. We felt very welcome and taken care of, with Rosa Maria and her team looking after all the details. Contrary to most other AirBnB listings in Mexico City this home features elegant, vibrant, tasteful Art from all periods, including modern. Internet, TV, phone, garage doors, water, everything works. Shout-out to Señora Raquel, the housekeeper, who keeps the place spotless, is quiet and can cook delicious meals for a small fee. I didn't want to write a glowing review so that I can easily rebook this place in the future, but I can't be so selfish: this home is perfect, book it with confidence! (We stayed for several weeks in February, family with 3 kids).

My family and I had an amazing ten days in this beautiful home. Rosa Maria and her sister were in constant communication with us before and during the trip, even taking time out of their busy days for a Skype call so we could discuss logistics and best sights to see in the neighborhood. The house was big and spacious and comfortably fit six people. The gardens are a quiet and peaceful oasis in the lively city. We were welcomed with food (delicious Oaxaca cheese!) Raquel, who comes each morning to help clean up, was the nicest, most cheerful person. She introduced us to amazing local fruits, advised us on the best local markets, and made us feel at home. A beautiful home and wonderful experience. My family and I hope to return to this house again soon.

Both the house and the neighborhood are beautiful. Multiple restaurants, art galleries, theater, and cinemas. Good access. Rosa María is an excellent host, attentive to our needs, and very friendly. When we arrived at the house, we already had breakfast and some food available, which was a really nice touch. A mention also to Raquel, who keeps the house in excellent condition. Overall, we had a fantastic stay.

We had a fantastic stay in Mexico City. Rosa Maria's house was probably the loveliest house we have stayed in, and we hope to return. We were a large group -- six of us - but there was plenty of room. The house was beautiful, truly luxurious, with every amenity. We were greeted with basic food (milk, bread, salad, fruit etc), which we greatly appreciated. The garden was gorgeous, and even had lizards and humming birds. I miss the peaceful mornings drinking coffee in that exquisite garden. Raquel (the housekeeper) came every day to clean the rooms and bathrooms and see to our every need. Rosa Maria and her sister checked on us regularly, and even helped arrange transportation for a day trip. San Angel is such a picturesque area with many great restaurants, a vibrant plaza nearby, and the Saturday arts and crafts market was spectacular. Coyoacan is not too far away. The metro is about a 20 minute walk from the house. The city center is about 45 minutes away by taxi or metro.

The house is gorgeous. Spacious, airy, with a beautiful garden and in one of the best neighborhoods in Mexico city. One breath away from an amazing little colonial square and two blocks from the best open air art market in the city, as well as Frida and Diego's studio. Also close to Coyoacan and half an hour away from the center (taxi/car). The house was clean, organized and provided every comfort. We would definitely stay here again. Rosa Maria was a great host, very responsive to our needs. Everything went as planned.
