We had a wonderful stay here, the airbnb was beautiful and felt really special. It was a great space, had everything we needed and the pool was perfect up on the rooftop. The hosts were great, responded quickly, gave clear instructions for check in and sent plenty of recommendations for where to go in the area. The flat was in a great location, couple minutes walk to cafes, restaurants and shops. Would highly recommend!!

Mareh and Jorge's unit in Tulum was absolutely beautiful! The penthouse is an architectural marvel with full amenities - including great AC and beautiful bathrooms - and it was so comfortable for me to relax in during the extent of my stay. Mareh and Jorge keep the unit incredibly clean, as well. And I loved the rooftop pool! It's a phenomenal spot to hang-out around sunset. The location was also fantastic. The unit is located in the Le Veleta neighborhood in Tulum, which has tons of restaurants and bars within easy walking distance, which makes it a great place to explore on foot once you're back from the beaches, the ruins, Sian Ka'an, or the other sights that Tulum has the offer during the daytime. Mareh and Jorge were also super communicative. I couldn't have asked for better hosts. If you're staying in Tulum, I would HIGHLY recommend staying at Mareh and Jorge's penthouse. You'll definitely enjoy your stay there.

The place is absolutely beautiful and so aesthetic! The AC wasn’t really cooling enough but we still slept well. The bathrooms are beautiful, the pool, the view!

Exceeded our expectations! Tucked away in a quiet but inviting area with plenty of restaurants nearby. The Airbnb looked identical to the photos, was impeccably clean, and had tons of space for everyone to seek some solitude after long days adventuring. The plunge pool was great, secluded and without any debris floating in it. The host gave us tons of recommendations, and even provided the name of a taxi driver that lived nearby and he was at our beck and call with only ten minutes notice any time we needed him. Cannot recommend this place more! Safe, secure, ideal all around.

We loved staying at Jorge’s place! The penthouse is truly gorgeous, clean with lots of space. The private plunge balcony is simply amazing! We loved spending a few hours out there to decompress before going back out in the beautiful La Veleta neighborhood. Althought the building feels secluded, youre right off Calle 7 Sur with tons of fun little restaurants and cafes. There’s a corner store within 2min walk, which was very convient to get food and all the supplies needed to enjoy the penthouse. Would definitely recommend to anybody who’s looking to have a peaceful, beautifully decorated and easy time in La Veleta, Tulum! Thanks Jorge!

Gorgeous home, we loved staying there. Very convenient to main street with shops, restaurants, yet also quiet. Hosts were responsive and helpful. One big thing to consider that is not mentioned in the description is that there is no elevator and several flights of stairs. We had many pieces of luggage and were not able to carry up the stairs. We were lucky that the cleaner was just leaving and she ended up helping us carry the luggage up the stairs (she is in much better shape and stronger than us!), which was very kind of her. Otherwise, we would not have been able to stay at the residence.

This complex is in a great location, a easy and safe walk to La Veleta. The room and amenities were perfect and we just enjoyed our stay. Thank you for your recommendations and your courtesy.

Wow! What is there to say that has not already been said? Jorge was amazing! Not only did he provide a crib for our infant but also added in a high chair without us even asking! The space is incredibly beautiful. Pictures do not do it justice! Amazing roof and plunge pools, comfy beds, gorgeous design. The place is big so it is hard for a/c to keep it all cool but the bedrooms were very comfy at night. La Valeta is a cute neighborhood with great coffee shops and restaurants. Very easy parking. Would stay again!

This is such a beautiful space the bedrooms are perfect and equal size and bathrooms so perfect for two friends. The living space is fantastic as is the pool area both rooms lead out to the terrace. The place is spotless and well maintained. We stayed for 10 days and I could have easily stayed longer. Safe space moments from a ton of great cafes, bars and amenities. The host is beyond helpful we couldn’t have asked for more I’d highly recommend this place and host!

I had a great experience! The host and the staff were so helpful and gracious. I travelled solo and felt safe and supported with local recommendations for food and activities, help arranging travel, and when there was a maintenance issue that was out of their control, they were proactive and so helpful. This was a great stay and I would both return and recommend it.

Beautiful, stunning home in a lovely location! We really enjoyed our stay. As others have mentioned - roads are rough around the building, but we had no problem driving/parking our rental car, or walking to the nearby restaurants. Hosts took care of providing a crib for our baby, and we felt very safe in this area with her. Hosts were also quick to respond and sent lots of recommendations. If we come back to Tulum, we’d love to stay here again!

This place was seriously so beautiful. Every bedroom has its own AC unit. Staying here was such a dream. It was nice that we could walk to a few places. It was an incredible experience- especially for the price. SO AFFORDABLE.

This is a lovely aprtment. It has a great feel to it - as well as being clean, well decorated and stylishly put together, the light and atmosphere worked really well. La Veleta is a great base in Tulum, lots of places to eat/drink at nearby. VG recommendations from the hosts throughout.

This is hands down one of the best places I’ve ever stayed in Tulum

We stayed at this condo as a family with 2 kids (ages 10 and 9). It was beautiful, spacious and clean. Kitchen had what you needed to prepare meals. Our kids loved the rooftop pool. We had a car rental (which I recommend), but there were restaurants you could walk to. The host gave us a good recommendation to a beach club. Our only minor issue was that the water pressure in the shower was a little low but I think that's just Tulum and you have to expect that when you are here as the infrastructure isn't great. Would stay again.

Beautiful and secure condo, very very spacious and comfortable. With the rooftop pool morning sunrises are just perfect. Plenty of great spots to eat nearby and are walkable. Pepe’s Tacos, Nuud Cafe, Vai Ven were some of my faves. Looking forward to my next vacation in Tulum because I’d love to stay here again.

Our stay at the penthouse apartment in La Veleta was beautiful. So much space for a 2 bedroom apartment. Great for 2 couples or 3-4 friends! The style / architecture of the building was incredible. It was great to have the private plunge pool on the roof. We would definitely come back!

AMAZING!!!! Spent a week in Jorge’s place and did not want to leave. The space is beautiful and comfortable and the location is perfect in prime time but quiet area near many great restaurants, cafes, bars, wellness activities etc. Jorge is a great host and was extremely responsive. The rooftop area is completely private and relaxing. Can’t say enough good things already planning my next stay.

This is the location you want. It feels remote while being a block from the main drag. Like living in an Escher painting. Very cool experience. Bed comfortable, blackout blinds in the main room. Been to Tulum a couple times, would happily stay here again. Even offered late checkout as no one was checking in the same day. Great deal. Thank you!

Loved staying in this AirBnB, so much so that we didn’t leave a huge amount to enjoy the calm atmosphere and rooftop pool. Lots of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores and other shops a close walk away. Responses were also very quick. had a fantastic stay at this penthouse in Tulum. The apartment is gorgeous and exactly as pictured — modern architecture, very clean, spacious with three bedrooms and three baths, and plenty of room for a group. The rooftop pool was a highlight: private, well-kept, and perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The location in La Veleta felt great — nice restaurants and cafés nearby, and the beach was only about 10–15 min away. The host was responsive and helpful, and check-in via lockbox was smooth and easy. Communication was top-notch and everything was as promised. If I return to Tulum, I’d definitely stay here again — highly recommended!

It really is a marvelous penthouse. Rarely do you find a place that looks just as beautiful in person as it does in pictures…but this hits the mark! Everything was beautiful. Great location with local coffee shops and restaurants within a short walking distance. It was about a 15-20 minute ride to the beach and about 10 minutes to downtown. Would definitely stay again if we are ever in Tulum. The security on property the nights we were there was a pleasant comfort. We can’t wait for our next trip to Tulum!

Beautiful home

Perfect stay for two couples! The penthouse was absolutely gorgeous as pictured and spacious. We had a rental car and it was easy to park out front. We felt safe in the area. There were also several restaurants, cafes, and shops close by and a mini mart and pharmacy around the corner. We enjoyed the rooftop plunge pool, especially at sunset. The WiFi worked well on the main floor, not in the bedrooms as advertised. Note that because it’s a penthouse there are several flights of stairs to reach the Airbnb. Our host was very responsive to our messages and provided us with a ton of recommendations. Overall highly recommend!

Jorge’s place was beyond beautiful. The pictures do not capture the essence of this place. The beds was the softest bed’s I’ve ever had on vacation. The pool was warm in the night making a beautiful place to relax and hang out. The bathrooms were beautiful and didn’t have a sulfur smell like some places in Mexico the water pressure was great and good. He left essential things we needed. Jorge was an amazing host he was very responsive, he gave great local recommendations, beach spots and great areas to hang out. This architect in the place was beautiful and serene. The airbnb is located in a perfect spot for you to cut off from everything but close to all the local restaurants and walk around and explore. This definitely will he my new vacation spot. Side note: The airbnb’s in Mexico are complicated to find as is all of Mexico but Jorge called me and made sure we could locate the place and made sure we was safe when we got in.

I’ve lived in tulum for 3 years and came back to visit with my friends and we stayed at Jorge’s place and it was absolutely perfect. The space is beautiful and really gives that tulum feel. Location is great!

Architecturally Stunning ✨ The penthouse was even more beautiful in person! The host was very responsive and gave nice local suggestions. Book without hesitation. FYI: - This location does have four flights of stairs - Security located on the premises at night made us feel safe.

Jorge's home was beautiful. Each room looked exactly like the pictures! We had a little trouble finding the home initially, but once we put the name of the house in google versus the actual address, it was very easy to find. There were a few cute cafe's within a 3 minute walking distance to get smoothies, coffee and crepes. Cenotes were 10-20 minute drive which was not bad because we rented a car for our stay. Beach clubs and the hotel zone is 12-15 minute commute, depending on where you are going. Overall, would highly recommend the stay here.

We had a wonderful stay. The penthouse is spectacular, and the hosts are beyond responsive. We had an initial issue with the wifi password, it was resolved within minutes. In addition to that, we received local recommendations every day of our stay. We even had an issue where we accidentally took a decorative hat from the house (my mom assumed it was mine) to which the host responded with extreme grace. We will definitely come back.

If you need a place to stay in Tulum, absolutely stay at this Airbnb. The home is absolutely stunning. It was so clean, in a quiet area but very close to the Main Street. The house is exactly as pictured if not better. The host is also so responsive. We knew power outages were a possibility in Tulum and it did happen once but he was immediately messaging us, brought us flashlights, and kept us up to date with what he knew. We would absolutely stay again!

The place completely exceeded my expectations. From the first moment, you feel a cozy and special atmosphere. The decoration is impeccable, with every detail thought out to make the stay perfect. Everything was clean, well maintained and much nicer than the photos show. Definitely an ideal space to rest and enjoy. I recommend it 100% and would definitely come back!

The place is stunning! Might even be better in person. Jorge was extremely helpful with sending suggestions for beach clubs and restaurants which was great we tried a few of them and were pleased. My only issue is unrelated to Jorge and his airbnb but worth a mention because it certainly would’ve swayed my choice of destination. The police is extremely corrupt. I rented an ATV and the same day police attempted to extort me. It made leaving the property uncomfortable as they have checkpoints set up everywhere and pull you over for no valid reason this pretty much made us reluctant to travel on our own because the police will demand a bribe out of you.

Dream house!! Tastefully furnished and with a rooftop overlooking the breathtaking jungle, one of the most beautiful sunsets of my life. The host gave us a lot of great advice and it was very easy to communicate with him. Highly recommended!

Amazing stay!

We had a great stay with family.

Incredible stay - especially for the price. Everything is as listed shown in the listing. The roof and pool is VERY private. Other roofs are not really high enough, nor in a spacial relevant place to disturb you in any of the important parts of this roof. Also, there are more plants surrounding the pool than shown in the pics, making it even more private. The rooftop couches could be a little cleaner, as a note to any that are revolving their stay around this area, but it did not impact my stay. The neighborhood is also great. The street that the Airbnb is on is one very short block from Calle 7, which is the main tourist strip of La Veleta. It is also less than a mile from the main road, the 307. When I first saw the actual dirt road, I was curious about safety, but I got into the spirt of the town, rented an electric bike, and explored all of tulum at all hours, and felt safe, in terms of crime, and general vibe. Many other travelers around. Highly recommend!

This is my second time staying in an Airbnb, and let me tell you—I'm slowly backing away from resorts and hotels. This penthouse looked exactly like the pictures, and it did not disappoint. It will definitely be my go-to spot in Tulum! The neighborhood was quiet, I felt safe, and everyone was friendly. There was a security guard right outside the penthouse, and restaurants were within walking distance. I mean, what more could you ask for?

This may be my favorite Airbnb that I have ever stayed in! It was more beautiful in person than in the pictures and so comfortable! Jorge was also a wonderful host. Very proactive with communication, lots of great recommendations, and very responsive if we had questions. I also appreciated how easy parking was and that we were very close to lots of restaurants and also the main strip in central Tulum. One consideration if you are visiting during the very hot summer months: Our power and water did go out for many hours during one of the days we were there, so we could not use air conditioning. If you need a consistently cool home to feel comfortable, keep this in mind before booking. It also seems like this may only happen during the week when construction is happening nearby. But this does not change my experience with the home, especially since Jorge set expectations that this could happen. Would absolutely stay again next time!

This is one of the best properties I have ever stayed in. Super tasteful architecture and furnishings. The neighborhood has tons of great restaurants and conveniences. Jorge is also a great host - very responsive and generous with recs. The one issue here is that there are occasional power outages (noted in the description) which could also impact the availability of water in the house (due to pumps not working). Jorge tried his best to address but at its longest we had water outage for 6 hours.

This penthouse is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever spent time in. It’s only one block away from the closest corner store and the main road (7th St) with dozens of restaurants. Jorge went far beyond the expected, setting me up with a taxi service and coming over to troubleshoot a WiFi problem. This place, with its rooftop pool, is pure perfection.

Fantastic stay at the Fósil! The place is absolutely gorgeous - beautiful decor. Very clean, comfortable and spacious. The complex is in a neighborhood that is going through a lot of construction so the roads are in rough shape, as described before arriving. La Veleta is a cute neighborhood with lots of great restaurants steps from the unit but be aware - no sidewalks and bumpy road conditions. The host was super responsive and helpful with local tips and recommendations, and even treated us to a bottle of wine when we had some issues with the water. Overall highly recommend this place, you’ll love it!

Great spot. They are well connected and hooked us up with local recs, driving service, and answer all questions immediately. Beautiful space. One local mentioned it was the one of the first builds and they don’t make them like this anymore. It was great.

We had a wonderful relaxing stay and would highly recommend. The house is beautiful, very well decorated and comfortable. We enjoyed visiting the nearby restaurants within walkable distance and were provided lots of recommendations on the local area, which included amazing bakeries. The rooftop is very private and we enjoyed relaxing in the pool, watching the sunset on the terrace. It was nice to know that there is security that keeps watch of the property overnight so we felt safe. We really enjoyed the place so we extended an additional night and found the owners very responsive. (One small note that with most of Tulum, there are some unpaved roads nearby, which was not an issue for us as we had a SUV and we were also notified in advance so knew what to expect).

We loved staying at this penthouse! Everything was very nice and comfortable. Host have been super accommodating as well! The location close to main attractions in La Valeta and also just short car ride to the beach.

This place was incredible value for money. The area is up and coming with delightful, cool dining spots (even two natural wine bars 🤤 in walking distance). The air BnB is breathtaking and the hosts kind and responsive with amazing recommendations. I think this place is currently available for a bargain price because of the mass construction in the area and intermittent power to the apartment, which gave us real jungle vibes on our second night where we had to light all the candles. We would come again in a heartbeat 💗

The apartment is just like the photos, it is beautiful and everything is very clean, the service is excellent. Jorge recommended places to visit, everything was very good on his part. 👍🏻 The only thing we didn't like were the streets in very bad condition and some are closed because they are fixing them

There’s nothing I can say that hasn’t already been said about this place - you can’t go wrong! The location is fantastic, off the main road but steps away from the best spots in La Veleta. The rooftop pool and lounge, bedrooms, breezy main floor - it was all so beautifully designed, spacious and comfortable. The neighbourhood itself is (and will be) in constant construction but this place feels almost sheltered from it, even though they were digging up the main street, two blocks away while we were there. The host was so helpful, responsive and shared many recommendations.

Spent 6 days here and everything was great the Airbnb was just fantastic loved the rooftop pool my only recommendation is hire a car as taxis are expensive but Jorge was a great host with his daily recommendations and l highly recommend his place

Amazing place. We absolutely loved it. Great bars and restaurants within walking distance. The place is secure and has everything you'll need. It's on the second floor and has three different levels, so just be ready to walk a lot of stairs. Definitely recommend.

Jorge’s place was impeccable! As a real estate developer I appreciated the attention to detail of the architecture. Taxi service had no issue finding the place for pick up and drop off. Lots of walkable restaurants and shops. The rooftop pool was relaxing and private among the lush greenery. Bed was super comfortable and had no issues with WiFi or electricity.

Our stay at Sergio's Airbnb was great all around. The apartment is not only extremely stylishly furnished, but looked even more impressive on site than in the pictures. Sergio was an exceptionally attentive host – always helpful, full of valuable recommendations and proactively available even for concerns unrelated to the accommodation. Thanks to his hospitality and the beautiful apartment, we felt comfortable right from the start. An absolute recommendation!

What can we say. This place is exceptional. Truly a special place. Don’t even look elsewhere. If it’s available for your dates don’t hesitate to book it. The only problem was not wanting to leave.

This was absolutely 5 stars for our 3 weeks in Tulum. The place is immaculate. With the rooftop pool, we didn’t venture too far away and loved it there. It’s around the corner from a strip convent for out of towers. Jorge got us recommendations of places to go, and the essential stuff like for laundry / bikes / fruiterias and cafes. Holistika nature hotel and park is a very short walk away, and coworking spot digital jungle is a 10 min walk down the street… 25peso taco stand also just around the corner…and you can get some fresh coconut along the way. Internet is as described in the description, aim to use it downstairs, it doesn’t have the greatest reception upstairs but very manageable. We will absolutely come back here.
