Here is the shorter version: ⸻ Due to our very positive experiences during the first stay, we have again opted for this beautiful apartment in the very well-kept residential complex – and were not disappointed again. The apartment is tastefully decorated, quietly located and very safe. You feel right at home. There is really nothing missing: The kitchen is excellently equipped and the beds are very comfortable, so you can relax well. It is particularly pleasant that many small things have also been thought of, such as toilet paper, detergent and dishwashing liquid, spices and garbage bags. Thank you, dear Frank, for the quick and helpful support. We will be happy to come back!

The apartment is very nice and is located in an extremely safe and quiet residential complex. There is really nothing missing in the apartment. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, dryer and everything else you need. The quality of living is excellent in the living and dining area as well as in the upper area with the bedrooms. Everything is very tasteful and comfortably furnished. In particular, the master bedroom is very nicely decorated and has a very good mattress, which ensures a correspondingly high quality of sleep. For us, the apartment was the ideal base to easily reach Alajuela, Heredia, Lindora, Santa Ana and Santa Bárbara. The distance to SJO airport and Tobías Bolaños airport is also ideal. We received a very friendly, helpful and competent answer from Frank to every question within a very short time. Thank you for this wonderful stay

We humbly acknowledge that we broke one of the rules. We checked in two more people than indicated, it was at dawn on the night of 1 of the 3 rented and we did not report it. The next morning we asked to be charged the extra and Frank told us that we had an hour to leave or else he would call the police. The measure was totally disproportionate and inflexible. We got scared and left. And we have not received an answer about the refund for the other two nights. My worst experience.

La reserva fue realizada para 4 hombres, pero desde la primera noche ingresaron más personas de las declaradas. Además, en la madrugada del día siguiente uno de ellos ingresó con una mujer alrededor de las 4 a.m., quien salió a las 7 a.m. Ninguna de estas personas estaba incluida en la reserva ni fue informada. La situación fue detectada por mí mediante mis controles de seguridad; no hubo comunicación por parte del huésped. Mis reglas de casa, claramente publicadas antes de reservar, establecen que solo pueden permanecer en la propiedad las personas incluidas en la reserva, y que el incumplimiento de esta norma puede resultar en la cancelación no reembolsable. Estas reglas fueron vistas por Gilbert antes de reservar y posteriormente aceptadas por escrito después de la reserva. El ingreso oculto de múltiples personas adicionales —incluyendo a una mujer acompañada por varios hombres en plena madrugada— representa una violación grave de confianza y de las normas de seguridad del alojamiento. Por este motivo, y considerando que esta es mi casa, donde duerme mi familia cuando no está en Airbnb y donde viven vecinos con niños pequeños, solicité que abandonaran la propiedad. No puedo permitir que personas que rompen reglas esenciales, actúan a escondidas y generan un ambiente de riesgo permanezcan en mi hogar. Mi instrucción se basó exclusivamente en seguridad y confianza, no en penalizaciones ni discusiones de tarifas. Cuando un huésped decide actuar de forma oculta y contraria a las reglas que aceptó voluntariamente, no es posible continuar la estadía. Mi prioridad es proteger mi hogar, respetar mis reglas y garantizar la seguridad y tranquilidad de todos los huéspedes que sí cumplen con lo establecido. Es por eso que su perfil no lo recomiendo a ningun otro anfitrion de la plataforma.

Everything was good, few remarks towels and linens could be fresher, towels had a humidity smelled. Also, ONLY A/C uni in the master room the other rooms gets super hot even with the fan on. The host was very responsive. The apartment was clean overall!

Thanks for visiting us! Yeah Costa Rica is the tropics and humidity levels are high as stated in the listing. For house 28 yes we clearly mark that there is only one AC. Our house 29 has ACs all over the house so next time you come feel free to check that other listing as well!

Worked and relaxed at this awesome place. Internet is reliable and house is fully equipped with a big refrigerator, oven, dishwasher and laundry room with washer and drier. This place was perfect for us! We can’t wait to come back!

We had a wonderful short stay at Francisco’s house! The place was spotless, beautifully designed, and had a perfect balance of minimalism and functionality. As parents of a little baby, we felt completely at ease letting him explore, knowing the space was safe and well-kept. Francisco was incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We would definitely love to come back!
