It's a very nice sized property, excellent for visiting with family or friends. The common area is very nice. All the facilities worked very well. The air conditioners worked perfectly and allowed us to withstand the August heat in El Sargento. I would definitely like to visit this property again in the future.

We loved staying with Memo. He and his entire team were very friendly and available to address our concerns. We would definitely go back to them The priority is super nice, private, and for enjoying with friends or family.

This house was perfect for my family and I. We all had plenty of space to enjoy each other's company and get good rest away from each other. The location is wonderful. Walking distance from the beach, cafes, grocery store, etc. I look forward to returning.

Our stay at Casa Torote was very enjoyable. The place was squeaky clean, comfortable and also came with everything needed to enjoy our stay. The house has an excellent location and has many spots to enjoy within walking distance. The morning views were spectacular to enjoy from the roof top. Memo and Amy provided very detailed instructions for staying at their Airbnb, which were incredibly helpful as we hadn't previously stayed in La Ventana. I highly recommend this place and host.

Fantastic stay! Quiet neighborhood. Place is well equipped. Just wish the pool wasn’t as hot, but it was the middle of summer. Host is responsive, rooms are comfy and the place is well cared for. I’d recommended!

incredible location: in June, there's warmer waters a short walk away and the powerful a/c and swimming pool were incredible breaks when the UV rays became extreme. the little market on the corner has an excellent selection of the basics for groceries and anything you might have forgotten. the souvenir shop next door has solid priced goods. wonderful restaurants nearby. we loved going to Anita's on our first night. there's even a coffee shop on the corner. incredible property: the garden on the property attracts song birds, doves and they sing in the mornings. incredibly private property even with some construction in the neighborhood occurring at the time. powerful shower pressure. excellent overall layout; there are three outdoor showers and mats to brush off sand, a bathroom in the palapa so you don't track pool water into the house. safe: read the guidebook before you leave the airport in cabo san lucas, they have driving tips that were so helpful!!

Memo and Amy's house in La Ventana was just what our group needed for a relaxing, enjoyable getaway. The main house and casita were exactly as outlined and the pool was a great addition to unwind after a long day at the beach or doing excursions. Memo and Amy provided great recommendations for restaurants and activities and also provided helpful and timely instructions for check-in and check-out. Would love to come back sometime soon and would definitely stay here again!

Memo and Amy are very attentive and quick to respond. The house is very nice, meets all the expectations of the listing, it is very well located and the details of the house are well cared for. I think it would only be necessary to specify in the listing that the house is pet-friendly, but the pet income comes at a cost. The house was a very pleasant experience.

Everything was fine, even though there could be difficulties due to the rainy situation, they were aware that the house was in the condition and in time. The house has everything you need to have a good time

This place is great, centrally located, and perfect for three couples! The house and casita are both beautiful with plenty of room to spread out and hang out. And both have rooftop decks with fabulous views of the ocean. We loved having the pool to cool off in the afternoon, and we cooked out in the outdoor kitchen after buying a bunch of food at the nearby fruit and veggie market. It is a very easy walk to the nearby beach, market, coffee shop, and restaurants. Most importantly, Memo and Amy are great hosts! Prior to, and during our stay, they responded immediately to any questions we had. And after corresponding back and forth with them, I felt like I kind of knew them, and it felt as if we were staying at a friend's place! Thank you Memo and Amy for sharing your wonderful home with us. It is a very special place!

Amy & Memo’s house is absolutely lovely! We fit 6 adults very comfortably, made friends with the neighbors and had them over as well to hang out in the beautiful communal spaces. The hot tub is amazing! Though it only worked 1/5 days we were there.

This home is truly incredible. The location, the layout, all the amenities and the quick correspondence. I would honestly stay another 3 weeks if I could!

The house is beautiful. The hosts think of every detail to make your stay at La Ventana as pleasant as possible. They have details such as leaving board games, books, brochures with nearby and local landmarks, fins and snorkels, grill charcoal on the terrace, delicious white cotton sheets and Frescas. Place to store and clean equipment and wetsuits. There is a manual with all the instructions so there are no loose ends. The pool has a delicious temperature. The furniture is very nice and simple, in keeping with the decor. They think of everything! La Ventana is a magical place. We took kitesurfing lessons with @saladitabcs and they treated us really well Really, really beautiful house!

Can’t say enough about this house, the area and the town/people of La Ventana! Highly recommend Casa Torote as a place to vacation or to call home for several weeks! The space is perfect for a group regardless of the time of year. We were there right before high season kicked in (early to mid November) and really got to know La Ventana and its people really well. We felt lucky to stumble across both this house and the area. If you get a chance and you’re coming to Baha, definitely book Casa Torote!

Memo and Amy's place is a lovely place, clean, functional, it makes you feel at home and relaxed. The pool and common areas diffuse a lot and all spaces are comfortable and functional. Highly recommended if you like a vacation away from the city. You can rest incredibly well.

A house with all the amenities and services, it was worth it! Peace of mind, rest and the sensational pool. Something we really appreciate is that they don't have to go to do maintenance on the pool, and that saves hours if you want to be in it, and that is very important to us. Very well maintained and beautiful views.

First time in La Ventana for a kite trip, this is the perfect spot to stay! Walking distance to launch and windy every day, highly recommend Casa Torote!

We spent a week at Memo & Amy’s place, the house is great! Perfectly designed to have privacy when needed, it is quiet and has all you need to cook and feel like home! The outdoors kitchen is just a dream, we spent so many meals and diners around the bar! Plus, you have a local market just around the corner with all you need to stay in town and not go to La Paz. Beach is only a few minutes walking and it’s also calm, with very few locals. This place is an absolute gem!

This is one of my favorite places to stay in Mexico. Memo and Amy have such a great property with a well-appointed house with two master suites, great kitchen and two bathrooms. The upper deck of the house has a fabulous fire pit and built in couch surrounding it which made for a perfect gathering place after dinner to wind -down after a long day. The new casita is fabulous and was perfect for two . We love the location and the proximity to the beach. We will be back again.

This is fabulous place to stay in La Ventana. We loved the house layout, enjoyed the hot tub and used the outdoor kitchen quite a bit. It was a perfect place to unwind after a day of kiting.

I’m hesitant to write this, only because I’m selfish and don’t want to share this gem...with that said, we think Memo and Amy are amazing and generous to share their gorgeous home! It is perfectly located to a local coffee roaster, market...and the beach!! It’s very private, beautifully appointed, clean and, just incredibly special. The surmises and sunsets from the top floor...spectacular!! Memo is quick to respond with any communications. Darn...words out...but we’ll be back!! Thank you again for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We found the house to be comfortable and decorated with excellent taste and materials. All the equipment is just what you need for a beach vacation. Perfect cleanliness and very good access to the entire BCS. We didn't think the nearest beach was very suitable for swimmers, although it seems to be perfect for kite surfers.

Memo and Amy were wonderful and helped us to make a last minute change to our schedule. They were very flexible and replied promptly to all our communications. The home is beautiful, clean, modern, well-equipped and close to the beach and many shops and restaurants, yet also nice and private. We will definitely come back to stay again. We feel so grateful for being among one the first guests to rent and enjoy this wonderful modern Mexican home in La Ventana, Baja. Located just a 5 minute walk down to a long beautiful secluded beach, this home is so tasteful and we loved the cool, clean ,decorative concrete floors and balconies throughout the home. The kitchen is open and well appointed. The upstairs deck/balcony with outdoor gas fire pit was great to enjoy at sunset. The bathrooms, closets and bedrooms are large, open, tasteful and inviting. You might be woken up by sounds of the local tortilla truck announcing his arrival throughout the streets of town, but this is how La Ventana , Baja rolls! Welcome to Mexico!.. If you are a kiter or windsurfer, there is plenty of room for your gear in the gated garden. 2 outdoor showers and an outdoor kitchen will welcome your freshly speared fish and wetsuits. The home is located an easy 5 minute ATV ride or drive to all of the local restaurants and kite beaches. Its about a 5-7 minute walk down to a beautiful secluded beach where intermediate-advanced kiters could launch 200 yards up or down the beach. Kite lessons, restaurants and yoga studios are all within a 5 minute drive. You could walk to most restaurants and the grocery store, wine shop and a great coffee roaster is just 100 steps from the home. We had a great time and are grateful to have stayed in this affordable home. What a GREAT value for this new home! Many thanks Memo and Amy!!
