The grounds are beautiful, the river is relaxing. It's quiet, peaceful, spacious, and feels very secure. The local staff were wonderful. The water heater was broken. The owner was aware of this before our arrival. The host dismissed our concern and commented that westerners are "indulgent” and always need the perfect temperature. The lights flickered when turned on fully , and the electricity went out every night. When the electricity would come back on, 2 lights would turn on which meant waking up to turn lights back off. The toilet needs repairs, we had to manually push the float after every use. Several railings were loose and unstable. There were very few dishes and supplies, spider webs inside the drawers and on some utensils, and gecko droppings in the plates storage area and in a cooking dish. Dish soap was provided as hand soap. The host was slow to respond/unresponsive. During our stay a new couch was delivered while the old one was left sitting on the patio.

Beautiful house, well-equipped, the pool is super well maintained! We enjoyed our stay!
