My family and I spent a week in the apartment and it was awesome. Great location. Close to the beach and a short walk to great restaurants and anything else you might want or need. The apartment is just lovely. Beautiful outdoor spaces and the interior is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It gets a really nice constant breeze and we enjoyed having the windows and doors open to have the sea air coming though the apartment. The pool was great and perfect for a shady break from the sun. Loved the roof deck with an incredible view out to the Gulf of Mexico and Cozumel. Mark and Morgane were great hosts and very responsive. They also gave us some great restaurant recommendations. Sergio the property manager was also fantastic and very helpful. Hope to go back soon. Highly recommended!!!

We wish we could have extended our stay! It was magical experience, laid back vibes with a beautifully curated artistic space.

If you visit Playa del Carmen and don‘t like hotels this is your place!!! Mark offers the perfect combination of a beautiful condo with great roof terrace, stunning views, pool, perfect comfort, relaxed atmosphere, a few steps from the city yet in a calm neighbourhood next to the best beach and even Maya ruins a few steps away. We couldn‘t ask for more and had a fantastic time. Thanks a lot!!!

Great place! Had a wonderful stay !

Our family of four just spent 11 nights at Marks home. It's ideally situated, just a stones through from the beach and a very short stroll into the busy 5th Av area. The small development and surrounding areas feel very safe and you have everything you could want, restaurants and bars. We did cook a few times and managed fine getting supplies.

This was my second stay at Mark's place. It is an ideal location and setting. The pool is great and an easy walk to the beach. Everything you could want!

Amazing sanctuary in the sky. One porch offers the view of being in the canopy, and the other beautiful views of the ocean and sunrise. On the rooftop deck there's even a more expansive view of the shoreline. Our kids loved it and there was plenty of room for a family of four to spread out and come together. Great workable kitchen, we cooked the majority of our meals. We ordered from Ixchel Gourmet, and also shopped at DAC Verduras y Frutas, and the Selecto Súper Chedraui 5a Avenida. For restaurants, La Cueva del Chango is definitely worth a visit. Thanks for the recommendation Mark and Morgane! I also picked up tacos from El Cahuamo on the corner of 10 Ave Nte and Calle 6 Nte. Authentic, delicious, inexpensive, cash only. Quick walk to the beach, we found the best time to go was between sun up and 10 or 11 am before the sun was too hot.

A wonderful retreat. The sea breezes and sunshine are lulling. We spent most of our time here, opting to avoid the hectic pace of Centro Playa. The rooftop was perfect for sunsets and back deck for sunrises. We would recommend this place as a relaxing retreat.

Absolutely fantastic place! We spent a week here and *loved* it. It's way bigger than it looks in the pictures -- just on the private rooftop there was enough room to seat six people easily. The photos really don't capture how big the place is! It's a very short walk to the beach, we often went just wearing our swimsuits with no shoes because it was like a block and a half away through a grassy area with interesting Mayan ruins. The location is close enough to the main strip that you can walk there in less than five minutes, but that's just far enough away that it's very quiet at night. The best part was the rooftop! It's totally private, almost no one can see you up there, and the view of the sea is stunning. We looked out over the Caribbean as the sun set behind us and then looked up at the stars almost every night. The bedrooms each had great AC units, so we were very comfortable at night. And during the day we opened the doors and windows and had a great breeze. Fantastic!

Mark’s place was beyond our expectations. I got to spend the week with my BFF ( girls trip) In PlayaCar - without the kids. It was wonderful. Close quick walk to the beach, they had towels, backpack chairs and an umbrella for us to use. The view every morning on the patio having our morning coffee was peaceful and beautiful. Easy check in, close parking and felt very safe. We took a day trip to Tulum , and spent an evening zip lining at one of the Xcaret parks. We were very central. We could walk to the famous 5th ave but could not here the music. We walked to great coffee, a few dinners and found a great Spa near by. This place had it all. I cannot wait to come back. Thank you Mark and Sergio ( who we met during check in and checked on us during our week) Book this place if you can- it’s unique, peaceful and very serene!!

We were very, very happy with our place, the penthouse at Villa Coba . Everything was as described in the listing and worth every penny. The view, the location, the cozy, relaxed decor, the pool. Easily, it is a wonderful place! However, our special thanks to Sergio! He is such a friendly and helpful person. Communication was always easy and friendly and thanks to him, it worked with a rental car. Thanks Sergio, you saved our vacation! Without restriction, I would like to recommend this place to anyone looking for an oasis in the turbulent Playa del Carmen. We will be happy to come back.
