Fantastic stay, exactly as described! If you’re looking for somewhere off grid, this is it! Beautiful restaurant next door. Runs off solar panels so electric was temperamental. Toilet/shower area very rustic and eco, but added to its charm! Great value. Definitely worth kayaking down the river to see monkeys and various species of bird!

Amazing place to disconnect and enjoy ometepe island. They have scooter rentals, kayaks, and are very helpful! The accomodation is on the shore of the lake and next door to Playa Mangos Restaurant. They also have a kitchen.

The arrival was not quite so easy for us, since we first drove in at Playa Mangos, but you have to go in about 100 m further ahead (coming from the north) at a rather hidden sign that says "La Sirenita." However, that was not too big a problem, and the check-in was then very easy and fast :) The bed was really huge and the bungalow was bigger than it looks. So we had enough space for our luggage. The bed also had a mosquito net and a small fan. At night, Mocca looked after us, and in the morning, we were greeted by the cheerful little pig. The location is really beautiful, and you can see the best sunsets. It's finally like camping again between all the hostel and hotel stays, just perfect and really great!!

This was an amazing place to stay! After five nights we wanted to stay longer but already had flights booked for home. We left feeling recharged and rested. Lukas, his girlfriend, staff, friends, and other guests were all interesting and fun people. Ometepe is awesome, and this is the best place to stay for peace and as a base to explore the island.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful place for swimming and relaxing. It's quite, amazing sunsets, clean hut. I can highly recommend it.

We loved our stay and would have stayed longer if we could! The cabin was right on the waters edge with stunning views of the volcano! There is hammocks to relax in and kayaks available for rent. Kayaking up the river is a must do! Lukas was friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

Thanks to Lukas for setting up this place! Nature and man seem to be in communion in this peaceful place. Lukas is discreet but gives good advice if you need it. Thanks again for this place.

Lukas is awesome. If I come back to ometepe this is the only place I will stay. Perfect location, I was very relaxed the whole stay with the huts on the water and very cool people here 10/10

Maybe the best deal on the island! Great value for the money. Best sunsets on the island. Very beautiful setting. The bungalows are right on the beach. Lukas is very friendly host. The internet was not the best but I took it as a good thing. Recommended!

Dream location to spend a few quiet days on this beautiful island of Ometepe. The cabin is amazing, at the foot of the water, with a beautiful sunset.

It's a very nice place, surrounded by nature on the shores of the lake. The cabins are very spacious with a locked drawer for your belongings, the bed is comfortable and the sheets smell clean. Lukas runs the place with his partner, the two of them are very friendly. We took a tour of the area and the locals spoke fondly of him. He was very helpful with us. They also serve breakfast, lunch and very cold Toñas. You also have the option of making your own food in the community kitchen. Thank you for everything. It was a pleasure to meet you
